PetSmart Princeton, New Jersey

They refused to groom my puppy due to the vaccine record from an out of state vet bearing different requirements than the state of NJ. The document should be one page not 3, the dose should be 1 year not 3 doses over 3 years, the pets name and doctor's signature has to be on one page. All the rules kept changing as I spoke to different associates and manager's. I took off work and my dog is still not groomed. Update: The next day, I went to another dog groomer with the exact same veterinarian notes, mission accomplished! These people are just rude as previously stated by other reviewers!

They didn't have much pet's but I did like their Rat food variety especially the Rabbits. I also like the toy selection for small animals.

It's an older petsmart so it looks it, however it is fully stocked, has everything you need and the team members are very friendly.

I bought a nice fish tank & save $200 last weekend (Pre-Black Friday).

Sick Live fish. Be careful when choosing live fish. You will find more than 1 dead fishes in each tank. Got fishes two times from this store, each time my other fishes got infection and died.

Love the proximity, ran over quickly to grab a few things for our latest rescue dog.

I only come to this place if I urgently need something ASAP. I went in for an emergency cut of my dog. Very limited selection of dog care ( wound/ ear/ diarrhea...) and the too expensive compared with chewy. The same dog bandage I can buy from chewy for $1.4 costs $3.5 in this store. The same for dog toys too. More expensive than buying online. The cashiers are very nice.

Fish tanks and quality of fish are terrible. Go to Petco.

I came to PetSmart of Princeton because PetSmart of Hamilton kept cancelling my scheduled appointments. This was my first, only, and last visit to their groomer. My puppy who is only a few months old was brought in for a shampoo, haircut, teeth, and nails. His nails could not be filed and were instead cut to a very sharp point. However, my main concern is that my puppy incurred a large cut from a hair trimmer. There was blood, but now a scab has formed. I have confirmation from Banfield Pet Hospital on a recorded message that the cut was from a “grooming incident”. The groomer did not call notifying me of the injury. This appears to be a cover-up for their poor grooming skills. It has been a week and he's still shaking and crying when riding in the car as he thinks he is going for a haircut. I have no idea if the cut was treated because no one called me. I will be looking for an independent groomer who will be honest with me about everything that happens to my puppy. I will never do business with this chain ever again!

This is the last pet shop in the area after the Petco was closed. It's okay, prices are good. I which they had more products in stock.

Horrible and not knowledgeable staff. i got charged for a service i didnt ask for and i saw when they were with a dog and they dont know how to treat animals.

this petsmart actually has reasonable size cages for their animals and that makes me really happy.

Since my Petco closed nearby, I was left no other option but this Pet Smart. However, it's been great. They carry what I need, always ask if I need assistance and it's incredibly clean.
