Fantastic veterinary practice near Northern Liberties and Fishtown/Kensington complete with grooming and daycare, Heart+Paw is one of the best and brightest vets I have been to to date. Bespoke with excellent doctors, beautiful and pandemic appropriate exam spaces, and lots of light in this custom build; you will fall in love. Staffed with lovely attendants who help keep things in flow and can even prep for pickup on your way so you can be in and out, this place is easily the best family veterinarian in town.

Our dog loves it and we go to play, grooming and the Vet. I do wish there was a client portal on the website but this is more of a head office thing. As for the reviewer who was upset at cancellations I get it but most likely that was due to a medical emergency and not to lack of professionalism or dedication so I would not let it pull down my review.

I’ve had 2 grooming appointments canceled on me in the last 4 months. For one of the appointments, I received a call just 15 minutes prior to my pet’s scheduled appointment stating it was being canceled. I received no apology for how extremely inconvenient this was and not even a discount on my next service for the lack of notice. On another occasion, I originally received a call confirming the appointment for the following day (after I had already confirmed the appointment online the night prior). Then within 2 hours of that call, I received another call from Heart+Paw stating that the grooming appointment was going to be canceled. I’m not sure if all Heart+Paw locations are this terrible, but the staff at this location are not reliable and not worth your time.

Love this place for my dog. Groomer is incredible and the Vets that look after my dog is awesome.

Koda, my minilabradoodle, RUNS when gets within 5 blocks of Heart + Paw. Then, she cries / whimpers and I have to carry her a good three blocks away before she will start to walk home. She loves it. Staff is very attentive and professional. They send pics during the day. My only wish would be a drop-in cam. But then Google would need 6 stars.

They took extremely good care of my cat and me. Tyler, Zac and Dr. V called with updates and answered all my questions and concerns and they made sure I thoroughly understood everything.

Just started bringing my Pomeranian here. He had an issue with his eye. Vet called me himself to discuss treatment and was very friendly. I felt he was genuinely concerned about my baby. Shared a little of his personal life ( not too much) which helped me feel more at ease as it revealed more of his personality. We've been looking for a vet home for two years and feel we've found it. I've interacted with a few staff members and each has been a pleasure speak with.

So pleased with my dog's first visit to the North Liberties location. Dr Vaitkus was very knowledgable and took time to answer all my concerns. My dog did not appear stressed at all after his visit .Highly recommend this Heart and Paw location.
