Michelle has been taking care of my cat for a while now. Cassie is getting older and she has several chronic conditions. She always takes great care of her. This last time, Cassie stopped eating and was acting sick. She didn’t hesitate to take her to the vet and take amazing care of her. I was so scared being away and although nothing could take away my fear, Michelle did an amazing job making sure my cat was cared for and safe. It honestly brought me to tears coming home to a cat that was eating and happy. I can’t recommend this company enough. And They are more than lucky to have someone compassionate, considerate and cat loving like Michelle working for them.

I was in a desperate situation so I contacted Kitty in NY. John and his staff promptly arranged a prospective caretaker for my cat within six hours. The team there is extremely prompt, professional, and genuinely cares about getting proper care for your pet. My cat Zoe is staying with a gentleman who has cared for cats for ten years. He is a perfect match for my cat Zoe. I cannot emphasize how relieved I feel finding Zoe a safe and pleasant environment to live in while I get through this difficult time. Fantastic service, friendly and extremely competent caretakers for your pet. The transition was very smooth. The process was communicated every step of the way. I can't thank you guys enough. Top notch service!

Good service, but pricey. For 3 half-hour visits, the price was $75 + an "Agency fee" of $30 (which comes out to $35/hour of pet-sitting!). In addition, because the caretaker, Jeff (whom I recommend highly), visits beforehand to get acquainted, the customer is encouraged to tip, which I did. In addition, you receive an invoice from the agency (for $30), and have to arrange payment separately for the caretaker. Shouldn't the agency take care of this? There is also a contract sent over email for signing, when this could certainly be taken care of online. Caretaker asked good questions when visiting, sent photos of each visit and spent quality time with my kitty. Apartment was as I left it when I returned. Minor complaints are with the agency, not the quality of care.

My wife and I live on the UES and had to leave our cat, Dexter, for a three day long weekend. Without getting into the weeds with details, our cat had recently injured himself and we were extremely hesitant to leave him and almost cancelled our trip. By some miracle, we were connected with Laura - she was BEYOND helpful and we had total confidence in her as both an incredibly caring person and a professional. It’s rare to find someone like Laura that so obviously loves what she is doing. I’m recommending her to all my friends in the building and would unequivocally recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter.

Great service! Helen kept us informed on how our cats did during each visit. We made Thanksgiving travel plans sort of last minute, and they were able to accommodate. We will certainly be using her and\or Kitty in NY again for our future catsitting needs!

I was looking for a place to board my cat for Xmas and couldn't find anyone available. Jose responded quickly offered an answer and we decided to go ahead with Kitty in NY based on the good feedback available online! We did not regret it! Pia gave our kitten the best care and all the love he needed! He came back home in great shape and in a very good mood! I'd definitely choose Kitty in NY again...

James was really nice, kind and responsible care giver. He was very open and accommodated my requests (even the difficult ones), made his home environment as comfortable as possible for my cats. My cats were super happy (and so was I), didn't want to leave when I went to pick them up... Jose was also quick to respond to my inquiry, arranged the care giver and process was really smooth. Definitely recommend this service if you are away for long period of time, you can feel at ease that your cat(s) are in good hands.

I can't given them enough praise. My cat was recovering from surgery and we had to leave for a week. Jose responded to my inquiry within hours. By the next day he had recommended an available sitter one block from home. By the next day my husband and I had visited the sitter in her home and were very comfortable. She is a cat lover who has every luxury for the cats in her care. She had experience with recovering cats including the giant cone and pills our cat required. Every day she sent us pictures, an overview of his behavior and videos of our cat eating and climbing on furniture -- we knew exactly how his recovery was going. Our sitter is a delight and was accommodating to our schedule. It was clear at pick-up that our cat was happy and felt safe with her. She takes great care of the cats in her care.
