Dr Barry.. he is an angel to my dogs. I'm glad I found him cause there are not better veterinarian than him I our area. Dr Barry treats my dog like is his dog.

Dr. Barry is a great vet who is very dedicated to the animals he cares for. Showed great compassion to our family when we lost one of our dogs. Really took the time to navigate us thru the very stressful experience.

I love Dr. Barry and all his staff at Matawan Animal Hospital. They are wonderful and have taken such great care of all our cats! I feel comfortable, confident and know my pets have the best care!

Dr. Barry, his wife Cheryl, and all of his staff are truly the best in the business, as far as I'm concerned. We've been taking all of our Labs to him for 30 years already, along with the two kittens I had and my Tomato Frog. He'll even give helpful advice for friends of mine when they have a question about their pet and can't make it to his office right away. My dogs all love going to his office too.

Dr Barry is an amazing vet. We spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out our dogs skins conditions and it only took one visit for our dog to feel better. He is AMAZING!

Don't bother. Just called to make an appointment and the girl acted so confused and then told me a long story about being short staffed and not accepting "new patients."

We Love Matawan Animal Hospital and Dr. Barry. Our dog RJ gets the best care! Highly recommend.

The receptionist is extremely rude. The vet is absurdly negligent. I took my dog to an Emergency Vet to find out she has heart failure 3 days after visiting Matawan Animal Hospital. Matawan Animal Hospital had no inkling my dog was in the middle of heart failure. They assured me her heart and vitals were normal. The receptionist also called asking for payment prior to providing me any test results or information about my dog. It's extremely clear they care about the bottom line over the care of my dog. I do NOT recommend you bring your pet here unless you want low bar service and high bills.

I was there one time with my mother and her dog. I found the veterinarian to be extremely friendly knowledgeable and excellent with handling of her dog. The front desk are a wonderful group of people who are friendly and caring. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone with a pet.

Dr. Barry was kind and understanding when treating our semi- feral cat.

Old and run down looking. Needs renovations. Took someone else's dog here for check up. Doctor just looked at her and walked out. Tech did everything. I wouldn't bring my dog here. Sorry

Dr. Barry is the best around. He is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. He understands how expensive things can get so he does his best to not do anything unless it's necessary. All of the staff is top notch.
