K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Madison, New Jersey

Our wedding day was on January 15th and our entire family was at the event so naturally we needed some help baby sitting our 3 dogs. This was the first time ever boarding our dogs and we decided to book K9 resorts in Madison. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel at ease and comfortable during this stressful time. During our event, K9 posted pictures to instagram so we were able to see that everything was going well, which we really appreciated. On pickup day, they gave us details about our dogs and how everything went which was great. They even gave them all baths so they came home looking and smelling fresh! This is definitely a top notch facility with great staff who actually love pets. Thank you very much and we will be using K9 if ever needed in the future.

My family and I scheduled a vacation for 7 days. I reserved the luxury suite for my 7 lb. dog. Upon dropping her off, I raised my concerns about her safety because she is small. I refused to have her participate in doggy day care. I checked in on day 1 of our vacation. I was told that Belle (our dog) was bored and would benefit from doggy day care. I relented to half day doggy day care with the strict guidelines that they would not take their eyes off of her. Everyday of the vacation I called in and the staff said that she was doing great and should participate in full day dog care. I absolutely refused. On day 5 of our vacation, I received the dreaded call that Belle had been mauled by another dog. Her eyeball was dislodged from the socket. Her jaw was broken in three places and she suffered several puncture wounds. When they called me, they did not know if she would live. My worse nightmare turned into my reality. I beg that anyone considering Madison K-9 resorts or any K-9 facility very much consider the consequences of leaving your pet there. The negligence is by far the greatest I have ever seen and my beautiful family pet will never be the same. It has traumatized our entire family.

This place is great. Takes very good care of every dog that passes through the doors. The dogs are extremely happy coming here and know exactly where to go to be with their friends!

Wonderful place, great people, especially Ivan! No breed prejudice here which is a huge bonus. My 85# dog spent the weekend and came home happy, tired from playing in daycare, perfectly groomed, including her toenails and ears, for $29! Will definitely be back and recommend without hesitation.

A nervous wreck dropping my pup off for the first time, the very friendly staff let me watch him on the monitor as he went through his evaluation for daycare. By the time I was ready to leave, he was with about 10 to 15 other dogs clearly a very happy boy. I called a few different times to check on him during my trip. The team was always pleasant and patient with my questions. We unexpectedly had to go away again less than a week later. When our flight got canceled on the way back, they made accommodations for him to stay another night...no problem. I'm so thankful to have a great place to have my boy stay when we aren't home. Our dog Layla loves K9 and they all love Layla. It’s clear they care about all the dogs. It starts at the top with the owners, Ivan and Teresa, who are simply terrific. If you are a regular client, they will really go out of their way to help out when you’re in a pickle. Is it the cheapest? Nope. But I think it’s worth every penny for the level of care, the professionalism, and the peace of mind we have when we are out of the country or just away for the day. Very highly recommended!

This place might be wonderful for the dogs they house but they are a terrible neighbor. I parked by accident for a while on their side of the parking lot (the lot was almost empty!!!!!!) and went for a drink in Prospect tavern across the parking lot. I was alerted by Prospect Tavern staff and looked out the window and my car was in a wheel lift by a towing company!!. I went inside K9resorts and a very rude woman did not want to budge and tell the tow guy to lower my car. She just disappeared inside. "there's nothin I can do". I highly doubt that. They could at least have given me a heads up, that I was at the wrong side of the parking lot. The horrible rude fat slob (from BASKING RIDGE TOWING) that was the tow truck driver shook me down for $125 in cash, which I had to get at a local ATM. I recommend any of my friends not to park their dog at this place again. I have been in Madison for almost 20 years and lived on Prospect street for a long time. This action by K9Resorts is Very UN-MADISON, VERY UN-NEIGHBORLY. Also you wonder why a place like K9resorts Madison would hire an unprofessional company like Basking Ridge Towing, have you read the Yelp reviews???

I always take Dru here when I go out of town, and bring her to doggy daycare during the week. They always greet us by name, and she is often waiting in the lobby when I come to pick her up! The staff is extremely friendly and Dru is always tuckered out when I bring her home, which is great since she has a ton of energy! Also the price is very reasonable given the service provided. I would recommend them to everyone!

You guys are the best! This is my second time leaving my Baby Blue & Baby Ace at K-9 Resorts {MADISON} and the experience was AWESOME. Everyone is so nice and you can tell they have experience on taking care of dogs. My babies are Pitbulls and they love the crew. Every single day I received emails giving me updates on how my babies were doing plus they sent me pics too. Ivan and Theresa are the best. I recommend this place 500%. The crew always play with them and while we were on vacation we can tell the dogs were on vacation too. They spent 8 days at K-9 Resorts We definitely will continue bringing them here. After my house, K-9 resort MADISON is the safest and funniest place for my babies. Thank you guys for the amazing job you do. THANK YOU!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very patient with our rescue who has separation anxiety issues. Rooms and group play areas are clean and well maintained. Very happy we found them and plan to use them again next time we have to travel.

Really nice, clean and upscale facility. Super nice staff operating this boarding and doggie day camp facility. For day camp, K9 Madison has a large inside and outside play area to keep dogs happy all day long!

Ive been usong this place for well over a year and my dog still goes crazy with excitement everytime we pull in to tje parking lot. Extremely friendly staff who all clearly love dogs.

K9 Resorts has been a huge help for my family. They have cared for and loved our young dog, providing her with a wonderful (and safe) place to play during the day and excellent overnight accommodations when we need to travel. We have recommended K9 Resorts in Madison to several friends and business colleagues --- some of whom have tried them and plan to continue using them. If you have questions, take some time to stop by and speak with Ivan or Teresa. They would be happy to take you on a tour and show off their facilities. Then bring your best friend by for a visit; they will enjoy it and so will you. And while you are there, take a look at the walls of puppy pictures -- trust me, they are true! When we pick up our dog at the end of her day, she is either asleep before we get home or she puts herself to bed as soon as we get home.

After experiencing many dog daycare facilities in the area, I can strongly say that K9 of Madison is the absolute best. My dog is extremely energetic and lives everyday for an extended playtime, which is exactly what he gets at K9 every time he goes to daycare. He requires a full day of recovery in order to regain his energy, every time he goes. Their facility is structured in such a fantastic manner that all dogs are split up (large and small) to play all day with little downtime, unless he chooses to rest himself. There are both large indoor and outdoor play areas which are great alternatives depending on the weather. I would willingly drive the 20+ miles to bring him here on a regular basis.

I've been really pleased with our experience at K9 Resorts in Madison. Terrific for both doggie daycare and boarding. Indoor/Outdoor space is a major plus, especially on those freezing winter days. The dogs are constantly monitored by staff. Best of all, the pups are exhausted after playing all day, but wagging their tail when they go back for more fun the next morning! Highly recommended.

We love K9 Resorts in Madison! I have a 1 year old black lab who's full of engery and loves to be around other dogs. I bring him to K9 2-3 times / week and I can go about my day without having to worry about what he's up to - I know that he's being well cared for and is in good hands. The staff is always gracious and truly excited to see my dog when he comes in for the day. They are great about telling me how he did during the day and all of the funny stories of how he interacts with the other dogs. He's always excited to jump into the car in the morning when I tell him he's going to camp and always falls asleep in the car on the way home when I pick him up! It's truly a great place with great people and I would recommed it to anyone!

K-9 Madison is fabulous! The owners are hands-on, smart, engaging, and know our dog. She is excited to be there and is welcomed with care. The facility is clean, and the separation of small and large dogs, with both indoor and outdoor play areas, works very well. We also love that there is playtime over the weekend during boarding. Day care flexibility is super helpful and cost is very reasonable.

AWESOME...clearly the best dog-daycare around. They engage with the dogs ALL DAY, no up charges or hidden fees. For the working dog parent--hours are great 7 to 7 for the work week, no stress in drop off or pickup with commutes and traffic. Staff is super friendly, and the place is IMPECCABLY CLEAN. It looks brand new everyday, no whiff of dog odor buildup. While no dog daycare is inexpensive, the prices are fair, and if you grab one of their packages, you can save big. Exercise and stimulation equals one happy, healthy dog. My pup can't wait to go everyday. Overnight care is great too--makes getting away easy knowing your pup is safe and happy.

I highly recommend K9 Resorts in Madison! In her 7 years, my labrador retriever has attended four doggie daycares and this has by far been our best experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly. They communicate very well When my dog injured herself playing (she's a bit of klutz), they went out of their way to keep me updated on how she was doing throughout the day. She comes home dog-tired after every day of play. The prices are very reasonable, too, especially if you purchase a package. Honestly, I wouldn't want to take her anywhere else!

Where do I begin?!! This establishment is amazing -- I'm thrilled to have them in our community. I've been bringing our little Charlie there for nearly a year -- since Charlie started (he was 4 months old) the highly professional staff at K-9 have been nothing but accommodating, loving, and caring for our dog. They are extremely fanatical on cleanliness which is a real plus! Teresa and Ivan happily greet every dog by name, and our little Charlie is so excited when we pull up to the K-9 building.
