Once Upon a Tail Livingston, New Jersey

Charlie loves going to Once Upon a Tail. The staff is friendly and they take great care of the dogs. NO cages which is awesome. Dan does a fabulous job grooming. Charlie always leaves looking fabulous! There is no doubt in my mind, I will continue bringing Charlie back to Once Upon a Tail!

When I moved to the area almost 4 years ago finding a great groomer was something I was nervous about because my previous one moved a few states away. I came across Once Upon a Tail and I have been nothing but happy with their service. I love that they are cage free, and they are so wonderful with my two Cavaliers. Nicky is fantastic and Dan was wonderful with my youngest one on her first grooming visit as I was a nervous dog mom. I highly recommend!

Our pooch was treated like a Princess! Nikki was so great and we are thankful.

They did the best job on my golden retriever. She came home smelling good and perfectly trim. I would highly recommend this place, only downfall was they are booked weeks in advance so make appointment way ahead of when your ???? needs a bath or trim.

I had a good experience up until May 19. The grooming was awful and I am not going back.

Used them for the first time today as my other groomer closed up shop. What a wonderful experience. Very happy all around and will now be using them going forward.

They try hard and we like them more than the other cutters in the area.

My dog is large, and fussy but he's made friends with the groomers who are fast and friendly!

When I started going here a year ago I love it. I had great groomers, my dogs never spent more than 2 hours there. Suddenly the last 2 appointments I had scheduled got canceled because of several groomers leaving including the people I used and would receive a discount for the inconvenience. I decided to still stick with it and see how others were. I took my dog in for her appointment and was told her rabies expired and to get it taken care of and come back. I thought that felt off so went home and pulled our robes certificate to find it doesn’t expire for another 2 years so called and went back to get my dog groomed with our proof of rabies for a 2nd time. Obviously this error made by them was a huge inconvenience and received not even a sorry from them. Even though the grooming is well done I will not be returning due to the rudeness and disorganization of employees.

Worst experience ever.. I left my dog with the owner TAY for a full service (grooming/bath) and when I got there my dog was bleeding all over his legs, shacking and scared ... and she didn’t even apologize or reimbursed me .... very unprofessional ... plus the place is very dirty Please use other service if you love your pet.. God bless

I took my 3 Chihuahuas here and they loved it. They came out of this place straight up happy, it was adorable. My oldest is old, like 15 and he was very aggressive in his youth and could never be groomed as he would not allow anyone he didn't know to handle him. This was a big concern of mine as now he is going blind, the people here not only made him look adorable but he came out happy, which is one thing he is not known to be. There are real dog lovers running the show here and it is apparent in their work and my dogs attitudes.

Great grooming shop. We bring both our happy-go-lucky Cavalier and our fearful, special needs poodle. They do a great job grooming and our dogs aren't stressed when we pick them up. Will be customers as long as we have dogs!!

Jake loved getting groomed at this great new dog salon. Dan and Tay did a super job. Jake gives his special treatment 5 woofs, oops he means 5 stars!!

Excellent new grooming place for dogs- Harper looked like a new dog- white as snow and no more knots or tangles!

Great new pet spa in Livingston. Pepper was totally pampered and looked and smelled great. The service is excellent. The people there are really caring and do a great job.
