Do not recommend. Neutral attitude to pets.

Lets be very clear, this is NOT the same vet hospital of when 2nd generation veterinarian Dr. Weiner owned and operated it. I have been going to Dr Weiner for over 25 years. This place is now like every other corporate vet office. Make money and thats it, nickle and dime you for a simple vist. So if you see their reviews understand that the good ones are probably all cause of Dr. Weiner when he was still there. Also, patients left and followed Dr Weiner. Like i have. Go across the street where Dr Weiner, i know i have.

i called FROM THE PARKING LOT. my dog was breathing rapidly and trembling. i had called earlier for an appointment and was told no but once the dog got worse i went there presuming they would at least look at him. the disinterested woman at the desk said they were closing and no one would come to my car to look at him. not even a vet tech. i said if we leave now we will not be back and her response was "as long as he gets the care he needs"...while refusing to provide care or even pretend to be concerned. i found another vet. you should too. i dont ever need to be handled as an inconvenience by that awful little woman. the practice is over-priced and presumably has patients to spare if they can treat me as they did. my dog had pneumonia. he was treated brilliantly by another vet. no surprise they killed someone else's french bulldog. they could not be less concerned. all done with this over priced group. and then there's this...the dog missed his grooming appointment. they called later to see how he was doing. no call from livingston animal hospital about he was doing...this place is garbage

It's a nice place, caring treatment. We still miss Dr. Wiener but this is the place to take your pet in Livimgston and nearby towns.

Our pet (Missy) had a labored breathing, they diagnosed the cause promptly and communicated with us effectively.

Dr. Di Biasio is absolutely wonderful! She is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I have been taking my beagles to her for many years. Unfortunately, today, Dr. D had to euthanize my 14 year old beagle Prince due to acute renal failure. She did everything she could to give him a few more days so we could spend the weekend with him and so he would not be in pain. Over the years, she helped him through diabetes, blindness, and a severe back injury that left his back legs paralyzed, but from which he finally and miraculously recovered. I highly recommend Dr. Di Biasio !

I have been using Livingston Animal Hospital for both of my dogs for 8 years. Dr. D. has been absolutely amazing. We have seen every doctor they have on staff and all of them are wonderful! The reception staff and technicians are ALWAYS willing to answer any questions you have and will work with you for scheduling appointments. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!!

Dr. D is the best. I would never take my fury babies to anyone else. She takes as much time as I need her to and she answers any questions I have. No matter how silly they are. She’s what I would call an expert with French Bulldogs. The whole staff is wonderful. I would like to Thank everyone at the Livingston Animal Hospital for being there now more then ever. Even our pets need Heroes and you all fit the bill. ❤️????

I have not had a single bad experience at Livingston Animal Hospital, and they continue to be the best even during covid. They have great procedures in place, and the vet spoke to me extensively on the phone while with my cat. Could not be more pleased.

We've been bringing our English Bulldog here for around 6 years or so. We started off trying vets that were more local to where we live, but English Bulldogs are special and pretty tough to treat. After trying a few local vets, someone recommend we try Dr. DeBiasio. Livingston's around 30-45 away from us, but we're super happy we tried her and Livingston out. They're able to quickly diagnose and treat the problems our dog has had. Definitely recommend her (and everyone there) for any dog, especially English Bulldog owners.

What the heck is going on with Livingston Animal Hospital. Was told they have no vets to write a prescription for my dog who has seizures. This is not the first time and as people know your dog cannot just stop seizure meds. We have been going there 8yrs. 1 dog is 8 and the other is 4. Always had amazing experiences but 2020 has turned into a nightmare. Office staff, techs amazing caring people. Its obvious that the office is not owned by a vet or they would stepping in. Thanks for your great support of these years, but I can't continue to take a chance with my animals when they cannot keep a vet on staff.

We have two dogs that go here. They are always treated well and actually enjoy going to the vet! Everyone is pleasant and helpful and I never feel like they are trying to “sell” me something. They always have the dogs’ best interest in mind.

My family has been taking our pets to Livingston Animal Hospital for about the last ten years. They have treated our two dogs, two bunnies, two birds, a blue-tongued skink, and even our hamster. We decided to have our two dogs follow Dr. Weiner when he left the practice because of their age and complex health history, but continued to have our exotics treated at Livingston Animal Hospital. It became clear to us on Thursday evening that we needed to put our mini-schnauzer down. We called Livingston Animal Hospital at 6:15 pm on an evening that they were open until 8:00 pm to let them know that we needed to come in. The person who answered the phone told us that we could not come in that night, and that we would need to make an appointment. I was stunned. Was Cleo supposed to suffer until there was an opening? I checked the hours of our other vet which is located about 40 minutes from our house. It was 6:30 pm and they were scheduled to close at 7:00 pm.I knew Dr. Weiner was no longer at that practice, but I did not know what else to do. I called and explained about Cleo. The receptionist put me on hold so that she could speak to the Dr. When she came back to the phone, she said that we should head over and that they would be waiting. We arrived around 7:00 pm, they showed us to an exam room and said that the Dr would be with us shortly. They were kind and compassionate to Cleo and my family. They did not rush us even though it was after hours. They gave us the time we needed to grieve and say goodbye to Cleo. I still can not believe the cold and callous way we were treated by Livingston Animal Hospital. I am looking for a new practice to take our exotic critters to. A practice where the patients and their families matter more than dollar signs.

I would give it a higher rating but they don't have a permanent Vet there right now.. but the staff is very helpful

Doctor Schubert is a great exotic pet vet. She's treated my last 2 animals and is knowledgeable, caring and patient. The office staff is always friendly and wait time is short.

As I have said in previous reviews, the vets and staff at LAH are ... simply the best ... They have been caring for my pets for a few decades and I am very happy !

Simply the best place for our dog named Petunia. From the moment we enter the door to the moment we attempt to get Petunia to leave, the staff and medical professionals at the Livingston Animal Hospital are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. We would never think to bring a pet to any other veterinary practice / hospital.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this animal hospital and their staff. My animals and I have been treated amazingly each time we have come in for a visit. Highly suggest for both dogs and exotic animals.

We have been to three other vets who could not properly diagnose and treat our bulldog. After one visit we got the right diagnosis and treatment. Matilda is doing great and I'm incredibly grateful.

My experience over the last 20 years has been mostly with Dr. Weiner and I have found him thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable. Imagine my surprise to call the office and be told "Dr. Weiner no longer works here." No longer "works" …
