Went to Deerwood for the first time because my dog was sick. The vet was very nice, he went out of his way after hours to call me and give medicine for my dog. They will be my new vet for all 3 of my dogs

Great Animal hospital Great place take care for the animals more than for money.

This is a team of very carrying, wonderful, friendly and professional people. My cat might be a bit stressed out on the pictures, however during the exam and vaccine shots she remained peaceful and started purring????, while handled by the doctor and technician. And she can be a very feisty girl, but not in this place.

Great Doctor.. very friendly. Very helpful on the phone or in person. Gives sites on how to save. Ready to answer any questions.

Nothing but good things to say about this Vet. Took my cat here after he had a bad experience with flea and tick meds. They ran bloodwork, gave him fluids, supplied me with nutritional wet food to get him back to 100% and even called later on in the day after our visit to check up on him. Overall a good experience with Deerwood.

Everything was great. It is is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I felt that my dog was well taken care of and got examined thoroughly.

Dr. Mahesh Patel and his assistant are very caring good hearted men. They really love animals. They took my cat Cleo in on such short notice. I will always use this animal hospital. Traveling thru the area and could not find any vet or vet hospital that would see my dog. But these kind folks did. And they were great! Very caring and sensitive to my needs as well as my pet. AND the cost was a lot less than I expected to be.

Staff was nice. Office was clean. Everything was explained in detail.

I recently got a new puppy and decided to try this vets office. The entire staff was extremely nice, they got her in for an appointment quickly, and gave me a ton of information on everything I needed to get done for her within the first year. They did not try to upsell me on anything. They went through what was necessary and what was optional based off the lifestyle my pup would be living in. I will definitely be staying with this office.

Banging me over the head and draining my pockets my poor dog is having problems and they are just nonchalant after me referring multiple to them I feel terrible and very frustrated with their service

Friendly staff, affordable, Dr Patel is very nice and caring, Quick appointments. I was given an appointment for my 5 cats on the same day and also quick app for spaying/neutering them. Really happy with this place. I will recommend them to others.

I'm a new fur mom so the first order of business was to find a reliable and qualified veterinarian. I begin my search and found Deerwood Animal Hospital. From the first initial call until we showed up for our appointment, we felt welcomed and was confident we found our veterinarian. Everyone took great care of my Charli Rose and was very ensuring and encouraging for this first time fur mom. Charli and I are moving overseas for the next 2 years and they've been very helpful in making sure that we're ready. If you're in search of new vet, I highly recommend Deerwood Animal Hospital.

The doctor took a photo of my dog without my permission and he verbally belittled the black nurse in front of me. Try Redbank ER or just about anywhere else. I would give -⭐'s if possible.

I was very happy with the care my dog Stella was given in a emergency situation. I left with answers and a good feeling my dog was going to be ok! Dr. Patel and his wonderful staff were so nice and accommodating. I am so thankful to them all!

My 15 y/o Chihuahua injured himself and Deerwood Animal Hospital was great! They were extremely accommodating with fitting him into their schedule. They were very friendly and able to immediately help my little guy. The price was affordable too. Update: Changing from 5 stars to 3. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to put your pet to sleep, do not go here. We had to put our 18 year old dog down and our 16 year old cat within the past 6 months. Go to North Star. They far exceed the level of care and empathy that you need when going through this. This place is cold.

Dr Patel answered the phone before business hours on a Saturday and determined my dog’s issue warranted a visit. He prioritized treating her, even though we had not previously been to his practice (and where other veterinarians in the area would not accept new patients). He was thorough in collecting her medical history, performed a full examination, offered clear instructions for post visit care, and made no attempt to upsell. His vet tech was reassuring, calming, and cordial. Very pleased and will make Dr Patel my dog’s ongoing and routine care veterinarian.

Never again will I ever even attempt to talk to anyone in this office. I called to get information on neutering my male kittens and to get vaccination information as well; the entire time on the phone, the gentleman just didn't even seem like he wanted to be bothered or have our business giving me the run around wouldn't give me price is saying you know you have to do all this 1st it's very expensive and why do you want to get to me I'm being a responsible pet owner by neutering my kittens and he kept calling them dogs on top of everything else, so I do not recommend them they are not professional at least in my experience and as mentioned it just seemed like I was bothering him and he didn't want my business

A professional, practical, and efficient place to take your pet. All staff are caring and you are in and out without to much of a fuss.

The staff and Dr at Deerwood Animal Hospital are very helpful and kind. The Dr explains everything well and follows up. I drive 30 miles each way to continue going to this practice.
