I’ve been going to this vet since 2001. Dr. Bonanno is absolutely the best. I recommend this practice without reservation for the best care your pet can get. When my senior dog was at the end of her life,Dr. Bonanno was kind and respectful of our dog and us as he put her to sleep. I’ll always be grateful to him for that.

A few days ago I brought my 15 year old Shih Tzu to Belmar Animal Hospital with a very uncomfortable dribbling urinary problem, fully expecting to hear the worst. I was amazingly surprised to learn that the problem turned out to be 8 tiny kidney stones causing an obstruction. Within an hour the problem was non-surgically fixed and we were happily sent on our way. Dr. Bonanno, Dr. Plunkett and Dawn were the professionals who went above and beyond, bringing a human touch to my canine issue. The value of their services is right on point and you can be sure you will hear the best advice as if they were caring for their own animal. Super clean and efficient . During covid our dog needed updated shots . They came to car and brought him in . When they came out so did the doctor and went over everything going on with our dog duke . Highly recommend. Reasonably priced and the ladies on the phone and at the front desk are a pleasure to talk with .

Both Dr. Bonnano and Dr. Plunkett are the best. We have had them take care of our cats for the past fifteen years. They are well informed, professional and compassionate. We have a new cat and would not even think of bringing him anywhere else! They never overcharge and are always honest. Their staff is excellent, also. They always treated our cats with so much kindness and care.
