Bayberry Veterinary Hospital Forked River, New Jersey

My shepherd had an emergency they were able to accommodate within hours of my initial phone call. The staff was very friendly, caring and personable. Dr. Thomas went above and beyond for our situation. I would highly recommend Bayberry Veterinary Hospital!

I drive from Brick to see the vet, she is wonderful my dog actually loves her, our old vet would call our dog the anti- Christ & drug him to see him in his office… not here, the Dr is wonderful and you could see the love she has for animals!! I highly recommend Bayberry… Also My sister drives from Belmar to bring her dog, they love her as well ????????????❤️ It’s worth the ride!!! The Staff is wonderful as well!!

Dr JenniferThomas is very compassionate and thorough. She is amazing and so is her staff. They treat our Dogs as if they were their own.

Very friendly and caring staff thank you so much for getting me in with my cat. I really loved my boy. and taking the time to make sure I had time with him during the hardest thing I had to do.

I felt my dog had kennel cough or SOMETHING along the lines of it. She was very poor at explaining what was going on, just said oh probably just an upper respiratory infection and gave him some weird medication I’ve never heard of. It made him worse than he already was before I brought him, so I took him to a vet closer to home and they told me the medication she gave my dog wasn’t working because it wasn’t used to treat kennel cough, respiratory infections etc. now my dog got the medication he needs and he’s already doing better. Don’t just come here like I did because it’s the first place you could get in. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

Way overpriced, one good thing the girls, in the front, were very caring. Definitely wasn't worth the visit. We love our pets but how can elderly on a budget afford such outrageous prices that some Vets charge.

The staff is so kind and caring. They take the best care of my dog. They know she's part of my family and treat her that way.

Best experience my pet has ever had. No whimpering or anxiety. He always feels like he is visiting friends and loves all the staff because they treat him so well. If I were rating them one to ten, they would get an eleven. I highly recommend them for any pet.

Had a great experience here, the Doctor knows her stuff she fixed problems with both my dog and cat. On top of the great care her bill was just about half of my bill at my old Vet, you can certainly tell she really cares at this facility

Barnegat Animal Clinic would have been the first choice for my GSP puppy, just because of the close proximity to my home. (They were not taking on new clients during July of 2020 when I took "Canyon" home) I asked some other locals what my best choice would be for a veterinarian, and I was pointed in the direction of the newly renovated Bayberry Veterinarian Hospital. Even with covid restrictions, the staff was always great and sociable with both my fur baby and me. Grabbing extra regular flea and heartworm meds without a true appointment has always been a breeze. When Canyon developed a cough and some other mild cold symptoms, they saw him immediately, and gave me meds to clear him right up. He was back hunting quail and pheasant within a few days. Hospital is clean, staff is professional and patient with excitable dogs, and treats them like family. Canyon looks forward to every vet visit to see, "the girls," that give him treats and affection, along with a clean bill of health. This will be Canyon's clinic for life, and will be the hospital for Canyons future first pick pup a couple years down the road. Thanks Bayberry

I brought my year old pup in to have a bite looked at, and Dr. Thomas took great care of her. Everyone there was courteous, caring and very professional. Elsa was stitched up and home within a couplw houra. Highly recommended

I highly recommend this vet hospital! I brought in a cat that had been injured, i thought his leg was broken. He had been coming around my home for about a year and we were caring for him. The cost was shocking as it was not expensive at all! Some kind people even called in to the vet to donate towards his bill!!! The staff was amazing and so friendly and took such great care of him! They were so good to this kitty! There are absolutely no words that can describe how great this place is!!!! If you want high quality care for your pets THIS is the place to go!

Our family has known Dr. Thomas for over 12 years. We first met her when we brought our new 8 week old Riley straight from the airport to her for his well puppy checkup. Well, there was so much traffic getting from the airport to her office, we were not going to be on time. We called her from bumper to bumper traffic and she willingly waited until our arrival.....over an hour late. The moment we arrived, there was an instant connection between Riley and Dr. Thomas. Riley couldn't stop giving her kisses. And everytime we visited her, no matter what the reason, it was kisses. Now, 12 years later, we moved to Florida a few years ago. Everytime we visit NJ, we always make sure that we visit Dr. Thomas. If you ever have need for a terrific Veterinarian, make sure you take your pet to Dr. Thomas at Bayberry Veterinary Hospital. You and your pets will never be disappointed!

Dr. Thomas is AMAZING! Her staff are the best. The office is impeccable and the location is wonderful. Plenty of parking. We've known Dr. Thomas for 12 years and she been fabulous with our dog Riley. He really loves her and so do we.❤????

Very professional and very good with my dog that had to be put down.

I was looking for a new vet for my five dogs. Didn’t even get past the appointment making point. The person that answered the phone was just nasty . I was trying to explain that I had a dog that had severe anxiety and was terrified of life. It was suggested to try medication by the trainer and behavioral assessment. While trying to explain this , she wouldn’t even let me finish . Rude and cut me off . What a horrendous way to treat a client that was ready to bring in 5 new dogs

Our yellow lab Ellie had been throwing up repeatedly and was listless. We didn’t know why. The vet tech Kristen had us come over quickly and Dr. Thomas was amazingly thorough and helped our dog. They are both great. We are so lucky and will surely go back. Ty!!!!
