I have nothing by high praises and extreme happiness for Silver Nickels puppies and for Kerri and her professionalism she was extremely helpful from the start of a few phone calls to me driving two and half hours to get to the store. My first impression was how clean it was and the pens the puppies were in were immaculate, you could tell they were passionate about the safety of all the puppies there. I’m happy to say I chose a perfect Morkie which was on their Instagram, she is lovable, playful and brings joy to my life, and the lives her new sisters Ava and Nya and vice Versa. My new baby name is Bianca and I just love love her !! Thank you Silver Nickel for taking such good care of her. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the market to add a furbaby to your home Sandra

I purchased a Teddy Bear puppy and picked her up on 12/23. I am very pleased she is healthy, eating etc, she was very well cared for. I wanted to thank Rena she was excellent, very informative, she answered all of my questions explained everything I needed to know. I bought her to the Vet today and the Dr said she is in great health I couldn't be more happy. Thank you so much we love our Lily. I will definitely recommend this place. Thank you.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon a post from Silver Nickels instagram @silvernickelpuppies with the most beautiful Pom I had ever seen. Upon meeting Elli, she was warm and welcoming. The shop is extremely well kept with the cutest babies around. The puppies are all very well taken care of while they wait for their new mommy’s and daddy’s. Elli was very thorough in helping me through all of the paper work. My beautiful Pom on her first evening home was calm, sweet, and loving. She slept all through the night and without crying, and that is a true testament to the care Elli provides to her puppies. If you are looking for an honest and warm shop to find your forever fur baby then this is the place for you.

I went here to purchase my puppy about a month and a half ago, and have very mixed feelings so I would like to list the pros and cons to let the reader decide. Pros: The staff was insanely friendly. I fell in love with my puppy based off his picture on their website and needed to have him. I couldn’t make it out that day to get him, so they worked with me to put a deposit down so I could hold him. They even sent me a video of him playing so I can see his personality. When picking up my puppy, the process was very fast and I absolutely LOVED the $90(ish) bag of essentials for my little guy (dry food, wet food, vitamins, etc). Overall, the purchasing process was easy and the staff was amazing. Cons: My little man’s health. You get a 5 business day timeframe to take your new puppy to the vet to check for kennel cough (which they’ll take care of the meds for if your puppy does have it), so I made sure to take him in that time. He had pink eye and also tested positive for giardia (intestinal parasites). This aside, when my vet went over the medical records I brought with me, I was informed his vaccines were all messed up and I had to restart them. Also, my puppy was treated for giardia a few times, according to the records. I know this is common in puppies, however, pink eye and incorrect vaccines isn’t good. These also are issues they wouldn’t reimburse you for, though I did nothing to contribute to those illnesses. I tried looking up the breeder after getting this information to see if I can find reviews for them online and couldn’t even find information on them. I’m not sure how reputable this breeder is, but judging by his vaccines, they’re not the best. This is just my experience. I can’t say I wouldn’t or would purchase from them again in the future, but if I did, I may inquire more about the puppy’s past health/breeder information first.

I bought a female maltipoo puppy from Silver Nickel August. My pup is healthy and was wee wee pad trained when I got her. She is the most energetic and sweet pup. I have given references to so many people who ask where I got her from and tell them how healthy of a dog she is and how the staff there was so informative and welcoming! Hopefully in the near future I will be purchasing a brother or sister for Lola. If you are looking for a pet, this store is the perfect place!

We purchased our puppy Maple from this shop and we cannot be more pleased. The lady that works here is Amazing. She was patient and informative, which wasn't the case at the other shops I visited. I love the way she kept the puppies safe by having us sanitize our hands and cleaning the floor after every puppy we saw. As soon as you walk through the doors you can tell the puppies are well taken care of. The owner Elli is also Amazing. She is quick to reply with an answer to any concerns you may have.

My name is Mike. I bought a Yorkie this week and was extremely happy with the quality of service. Kerri was very professional and thorough with the paper work and suggested what I need to do in order to keep my puppy healthy. Kerri has a wealth of experience and the willingness to mentor. I absolutely love this place. The owner Elli is so passionate about the store & the puppies. I bought my baby from them in 2017 and i was so pleased with the service. The employees are SO friendly and care about the pups. And not to mention, the store is immaculate. When a dog goes potty they are fully on top of it. I haven’t ever been to a store with such professionalism!

The lady who received us was SO helpful and answered every one of our concerns in such a patient and understanding manner! She was also so gentle with the puppies, you could tell every single puppy liked her. We passed by Sun June 20th in the early afternoon. The most refreshing thing is that she didn't try to push a sale but instead asked us questions that would help us choose the right puppy for our family, which only ensures more great matches for the puppies' and the families' wellbeing. 10/5 stars, would highly recommend after visiting other places in NJ.

We got our little puppy, a mini goldendoodle, in late January. We were so grateful to have had interacted with Elli from Troy’s. She was super helpful and lovely to work with. She was very direct and informative. Our pup is very healthy and is wonderful part of our lives. We truly can’t imagine life without her.

You just don’t have to be so nasty to customers. As you can see so many reviews commenting about their poor experience. Just try and do better. ____ Worst experience ever. Went here to buy a puppy and was greeting by an unwelcoming, unfriendly receptionist. Very trashy. I do not recommend.

I can't say enough bout the girls there n owner. Store was very clean n covid 19 cleaned too for there customer's in between every appointment. They were very professional n helpful to any questions I may have asked. I give this pet store 3 thumbs up. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a precious puppy. I had the best experience at Silver Nickel. I found my little “Tiger” here or rather he found me. I was given complete information about breeders, transportation company, registration, puppy’s health records etc, new puppy kit. Please do not look elsewhere. Do not let few bad reviews fool you. Very trustworthy place, extremely responsible staff. I was very excited & do not remember the name of the lady who helped me. She was AMAZING. So informative, helpful. Simply Wonderful. My mini doxie is happiest little thing & has made me the happiest, I could ever be !

Silver Nickel Puppies is just amazing! I would recommend them to everyone. We recently purchased our Bailey through them and are absolutely in love with him. They do everything they can to help you during your purchase! Bailey was actually a surprise for my husband and they were so sweet in welcoming us when we arrived to meet him! PERFECTION!!!

We bought a male Shih tzu puppy from Silver Nickel. He is a very happy and healthy puppy!!!

We were lucky to have found Ellie and her incredible team. Nico, our pup mini poodle is a dream. He is well behaved, gorgeous, smart as a whip and full of energy. Our vet checked him out immediately upon returning home and was very pleased. His fecal test was negative, which if you have gotten a pup in the past, know that’s not a given. He also was extremely comfortable from the first moment in the crate. It shows the structure that was set up while he was in house. Again, not a given. I was extremely happy with their professionalism and warmth. We are definitely recommending to friends who want a beautiful addition to their family.

I am a first time Puppy Owner and Silver Nickel Puppies made this process so easy for me! They were extremely patient with answering all of my questions and really helped me understand good tips to help my puppy settle into his new home with us! My whole family is in love. I would also like to add i forgot my license there - and the owner without thinking twice drove over and hr to my house to drop it off for me! Wow, this establishment was beyond what I expected. From the first appointment that my wife scheduled to taking our furbaby home was just perfect. Due to covid-19 appointments are required. Once we entered we were asked to sanitize our hands. Thats a plus. Very clean floors, play area and even the puppies were nice and clean. No horrific smell like the other puppy stores I've been to. Once we fell in love with our Mini Poodle. Barbara was extremely open and informational with the warranty, their process and when we will be able to take her home. She explained that our furbaby will go for a followup with the VetMD to confirm that all is well and within 7 days she will be able to come home. She was so kind to give us her personal number so my wife and I can keep tabs on our furbaby... She sent us videos and pictures throughout the week. Upon pick up our baby was ready to come home. She was given a sanitary cut. She looked and smelled amazing. A puppy package was set up for our fur baby that included soft and hard food plus treats and vitamins. They explained her eating schedule and amounts to be given. Her paper work included AKC certificate which verifies that she is a pure breed (Mini Poodle). She was microchiped and registered under my name. Her shots were up to date. It was over all just the best service ever! If I choose to expand my family with another fur baby. I will definitely go back to Silver Nickles Troy's and Treats. Thank you once again Barbara and team.

This place deserves a million stars! Amazing Amazing Amazing! Barbara was a doll! She answered all of our questions and even went out of her way to send me daily updates including videos and pictures of our new puppy while we waited for her to be cleared by the Vet to come home. Once we arrived to pick up our baby girl we noticed she was super clean and smelled so good they even went to the extent and gave our baby a sanitary cut, cleaned her ears and clipped her nails. The payment and signing process was a breeze. If you're looking to add a new member to your family, I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I have had our pup for a week now and have really enjoyed her. She’s a well behaved healthy fun puppy. The staff was informative and responsive whenever we have asked for help. Barbara was a pleasure to work with and our girl Rita has been given an A+ from vet and family.

Had such an amazing experience here. After countless days of searching I came across this gem. I walked in searching for hypo-allergenic puppies since I have asthma, and I was able to fall in love with my puppy Ruby. She is a toy poodle and perfect! I took her to the doctor right after purchasing her and she was healthy as can be. Barbara was so helpful and kind, she truly went out of her way to assist me in purchasing my 2nd toy poodle puppy Milo. She was so helpful, made us feel 100% comfortable and even threw in a cute bandana for both of my puppies. I truly love this place and would recommend it if you are looking for an authentic and professional environment to purchase your puppies!

On Friday July 31, 2020 I went to see puppies at this store. I was actually grocery shopping that day and did not plan to go see puppies. I know I should’ve called first to get info especially with this pandemic but I didn’t. When my daughter and I approached the front door this lady peeks out and tells us THERE ARE NO PUPPIES AND WE NEED TO FIRST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! I just said thank you, have a nice day. I don’t mind the rules and regulations. It’s the way she said it to us with an attitude and just plain rude! Not even a hello or thank you for being interested in our store. I always tell my kids that sometimes things happen for a reason. I was lucky enough to find another store named NJ puppy store in Fair lawn. They had the puppy that my daughter always wanted! No appointments needed and the gentleman (Joe) who helped us was so nice and professional he was very patient and answered all of our questions and concerns as first time puppy buyers. This store is very clean and the puppies are clean and they all look very happy and healthy. I’m so happy things happened the way they did! I don’t like to bash anyone’s business but I just wanted to share my experience.

My boyfriend and I went in looking for a small hypoallergenic puppy. We got all of our questions answered and we even got to play with 2 puppies! I immediately fell in love and was so ready to leave my deposit until we went back to the car and called our landlord which informed us that we couldn’t get approved for a puppy until we fenced our small back patio. I was super upset because I knew by the time we would get that done the puppy we wanted would be sold. We will definitely return when our home is ready and approved by our landlords! Thank you Silver Nickel for being super patient with us and we’ll see you soon!

We bought a boxer puppy from Silver Nickel almost two months ago, and we are very happy. She transitioned into the family very easily, and is healthy and well adjusted. The vet was VERY impressed with her condition and the amount of care that they put into her. The shop was clean and everyone was incredible. They were kind, and very careful not to spread any kind of contagions. It meant a lot to us, as a family, and we feel blessed to have our puppy with us. Thanks again!

This is the best place in New Jersey to get a dog!! I have 3 dogs from them and I love them they are great with kids great personality , I have a Shiba inu a shish tzu's and just yesterday I got a mini golden doodle from there Englewood location the staff are extremely nice!! And they have the best dogs!! I highly recommend them my sister even got a dog from them I recommend them to everybody! Definitely get your dogs from them! The staff are so nice and they answer all your questions this is the best place!

We had the pleasure of adding one of the great puppies from Silver Nickel to our family. It was a great experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The Shop was spotless and that was a big reason for our decision, the puppies all seemed well cared for and the purchase experience was great, no high pressure and they made sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to add a puppy to their family!

Troy's has been nothing but wonderful to my chihuahua. I always feel safe leaving my dog at Troy's to be groomed and when she gets home smells amazing! Great customer service and top notch services for my dog. I would highly recommend.

Do not buy a puppy from this place. I thought buying a puppy here would be such a great thing but its not. Long story short- I bought a puppy from this place last saturday and literally the puppy got sick within two days. All they were doing is blaming me and did not even take the time to listen. I spent literally 2k on this puppy and another 3k for his vet bills because they sold a sick dog. This puppy has 2 parasites which clearly they did not treat and the vet even declared it was unfit for purchase. They think its ok to sell a puppy with parasites and blaming me for it. Please do not buy from here.
