After issues with our former vet office and ultimately being told our dog was at the end of his rope, Newkirks office fit us into their schedule ASAP and ultimately prolonged our dogs life and improved his quality of life. Dr Newkirk is the best vet I’ve taken a pet to - extremely knowledgeable and caring. He explains everything in detail, listens attentively, and is very in tune with the needs of my dogs. He offers lots of alternative/eastern treatments - which have all seemed to work wonders. It’s very comforting to know the depth of options and commitment to improving my dogs quality of life. All vet techs and front desk employees are also very helpful. Only negative is they don’t offer any kind of internal “pawplans” for visits etc but the quality of care is worth it.

Hate to edit this, but I most likely won't bring my dog back for the vet services. Lisa was great with tessas grooming but the vet here was so miserable towards my dog for peeing herself during a visit for her anxiety. Rushing my dog in and out negativley and rudely because you're uncomfortable with pet pee as a vet doesn't sit well with me. Should have listened to others I knew for their negative experiences. Sorry yall but tessa never barks or cries she just pees and being so upset over it for how expensive these services are is insane.

I had to do the unthinkable and put my little angel dog to rest,the staff is remarkable and very caring it still hurts but I feel I done the right thing as I did help her mother bring her into the world it was only right to be with her when we parted,daddy loves you always,I couldn't have taken her to more caring people, THANK YOU!!

I have a strong pitbull who have to be sedated with melatonin and another drug to get her nails clipped. No other vet want to touch her. Not even groomers I have taken her to want her back. But Dr. Newkirk has three people on duty they come out and get her take her into the hospital and in less than five minutes they bring her out to the car with clipped nails. The price is very reasonable to and they are great assistants who like my girl very much.????????????????

It was great ???? they are ready all the time, if have a scheduled visit or an emergency , they make sure your pet is #1 ! I have been going to Dr.Newkirk with all of my pets and I'm so happy when I leave ,to know my ( baby) my pet got the Best care . I went to every vet.in ATLANTIC County,they didn't care about the animals very much. I then found Dr. Newkirk he was amazing with my 3 cats all rescues.he gave exams better than I ever had. He is the best.

Dr..Newkirk was fabulous and so was the staff..you can tell Dr. Newkirk is a pet lover he is so caring..I knew from the moment I met him My pet was in good hands....If you have a reptile he is your man....And he is so reasonable ...

Dr. Newkirk is an excellent Veterinarian as is his entire staff. We currently see Dr. Weissman who is truly excellent. His skills are incredible. We also love Lisa n the entire group of true animal professionals. We happily adopted one of their feral kittens ????‍⬛ n now Miss Zoey is a healthy, happy five year old that we love to spoil. We highly recommend this office!

Everyone was very personable and kind. A thorough examination of our dog was done and medication recommended. No wait time at all.

By far, the best vet visit ever. Dr. Hise & her tech were much more knowledgeable with The Dude's health issue than the more well-known animal hospital docs we've seen. Equally importantly, Dr. Hise considered the prior medical treatments, the difficulties in administering future treatments & the financial challenges associated with The Dude's condition. Not once did I feel she was giving us a "one size fits all" plan of action. She obviously knows her craft & has the integrity to put her patients before the practice's profit.

I've been looking for a vet for my reptiles was recommended them so my wife took her cat for checkups and shots and they had the nerve to lecture my wife over the phone about the cats so looks like you lost my future business for my reptiles and I'm not recommending your business for any other reptile owners or Pets Thanks for your short service.

Place is very pet friendly, although if you don't catch the covid sign on their door, reception talk to you in an ignorant way. Sorry, was more interested in my dogs behavior coming in to your establishment. Other than that, the remainder of time there was good. Vet and assistant definitely animal lovers with concerns even with a dog a little overweight. Two thumbs up. Price wise, they are a little on the pricey side, but convenient location and knowledgeable.

I took my dog on Tuesday the 1st of June for a haircut and my dog was matted up bad but he DID NOT have any injuries however I noticed a week later that his ears are getting really black and they blame it on him “ flapping “ his ears constantly for causing the bursted blood vessels . There’s no way my dog did that to him self . Terrible services .

Dr Newkirk has reasonable prices he tries to save you money when it counts! He is very professional and courteous and very friendly! I’m a breeder and all my pets go to him! I’d recommend him in a heartbeat
