I can’t speak highly enough about this organization. It is such a well run organization and they help so many cats and kittens. They help both owned cats find care and surrendered cats find forever homes as well as helping so many cats and kittens that are on the streets. The catmobile provides low cost spay and neuter services as well as vaccines and regular testing . I highly recommend The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society.

I volunteered with them years ago, working at the shelter, helping out with events, and as a photographer for many years for their calendar. The people are wonderful to work with, and they have saved so many cats' lives.

MRFR is a great little shelter. Employees are kind and you can really tell that they love the cats in their care. I worked with Sara by both email and phone, who replies quickly and was especially helpful. They give me a bunch of goodies for the two kittens I adopted, who are acclimating well and have great temperaments. Definitely would adopt from this shelter in the future. :)

We are so fortunate to have mrfrs working to save & rehome cats in our community. The dedicated staff & volunteers give every cat unconditional love, healthcare and hope for a new & better life. Volunteers come every morning & evening to care, clean & feed, give medication and love.

Wonderful group with amazing volunteers. We adopted two cats in June and having the care for life program has given me so much piece of mind. Everyone I've interacted with has been wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind.

My friend and i went to donate some food and toys. It was quite disturbing. It was so hot and smelly. We couldn't handle the kittens, there were signs all over the cages. All the cats were stuck in cages. My friend went to pet an adult cat that was wondering around, the woman that was there told her not to pet the cat because if the cat bit her he would have to go into quarantine for rabies? I've never heard of this. Does this mean the cat didn't have his shots? Then why was he available to pet then. I don't know the whole thing was just odd.. I feel bad for those cats.

Even though I wasn't there to adopt a Cat wish I could take them all home my cat at home was a ferral cat and the BOSS of the house. I do stop by with a bag of dry food for the cats. I hope people do stop by to adopt them they all need a home young and old all animals deserve a HOME. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

All of my furry friends have come from there. The staff is caring and helps pair up the purrfect feline with you as well as matching the personalities to go with a home that may already have cats.

AVOID!! THEY ARE VERY DESCRIMINATING! They should be shut down. This "animal shelter" employees are very rude and refused to adopt me a pet due to some "history" with them but wont say what this history is. My family has always been a customer cant believe how rude they are! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This review is regarding the catmobile service in Tyngsboro this morning. The women doing the intake was extremely rude. I had recently given my grandmother a cat and we brought her to get spayed. When explaining that cat had seen a vet in August 2019 days before being given to my grandmother, she cut me off and looked at my grandmother and said “so you never took your cat to the vet”, despite there being documentation of the cats vaccinations. When picking up my cat later that afternoon I was reviewing the paperwork and she had written that the cat was “extremely dangerous”. I have taken care of this cat for months and not once has she scratched or bit anyone and now suddenly she is “extremely dangerous”. My grandmother requires this documentation for her cat to continue living with and seeing that the vet wrote that cat is dangerous she was having a panic attack about her cat not being able to stay with her because of this note that does not accurately represent the cats personality/temperament.

They take in all cats within their service area. The cats are all spayed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted. The cats are all well cared for. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful with cat info and helping you find the right cat for you.

MRFRS does a great service for cats! My fiance and I adopted our two cats from here in July 2017 and September 2017. They are very supportive throughout the adoption process. They also have lots of cats that need forever homes. It's a no pressure environment.. so you can stop in just to say hi to some of the cats. You'll end up finding a buddy anyways lol

If you are homeless and poor do not go to these people they will talk you into signing your cat over saying that they don't want your cat they have too many and what they're really doing is when you get your cat treated after signing or over they will keep your cat because you don't qualify to be able to adopt the cat back yeah you don't qualify because you can't afford to get her y'all cat medical treatment emergency wise I know this for a fact I went there the other day and they told me the only way they could treat her is if I signed her over to them and I know when I it came time to get her back they would say I don't qualify to adopt my own cat back because I don't have the money for emergency treatments right away I am on SSI I can make payments but I don't have that kind of money to hand out right away so don't trust these people if you're poor or homeless don't trust them
