2021: we switched to this practice after researching and getting real life recommendations. I was motivated to go here because of the rave reviews two of the doctors have and the fact that they are letting 2 people in per visit. Given my dogs overall anxiety, I greatly appreciate it! After our second visit they were able to determine one of the medical issues that my dog has been living with for a couple of years (and had been improperly diagnosed and treated for just as long at the last practice). Im very happy with their level of care and service and will definitely recommend them!

Our pets love going here! We switched over about a year ago and have been very happy! Brian and Tyler are the best vet techs you'll find anywhere!

I would never trust my Australian shepherd, Bogey, with anyone else but Dr. Whitebone and his staff! Everyone treats each pet like it’s their own, and I would give them a 100 stars if I could! Keep up the quality work!

Had really hoped that the reviews were correct and that Dr. Whitebone was everything that we had been looking for in a vet. Unfortunately, on one of our first visits with him my husband was dressed down for how we feed our dogs (our diet was created with the specialists from Tufts in Walpole mass, as well as with an animal dietician). In and attempt to understand Dr. Whitebone's position, my husband asked for resources to read more about his recommendations. Of the resources provided, the main article wouldn't pass for a source on a 5th grade book report (the published date says 'two hours ago, updated an hour ago'). Beyond the lack of sourcing, the article never identifies who funded it or who the author is working for; handing out unsubstantiated google articles is not what is expected of a medical professional, regardless of who they are caring for. When I attempted to call the office I was met with blind defensiveness from both the front office and the vet tech Ben. The conversation with Ben was akin to talking with a brick wall, who then attempted to be offended when I asked him to stop dismissing my questions and answer what I was asking; I even confirmed with him that I was not raising my voice or cursing at him, or insulting him in any way, yet he still felt he was being 'threatened' because I plan to report Dr. Whitebone to the state for disseminating outdated, biased, information as medical fact. Instead of simply picking up the phone to discuss, and trade sources to make sure our pets are well cared for, the Dr. simply sent us our records and said I was out of line on the phone - I encourage him to make the call public, as I was professional and to the point. This guy is pushing biased articles, paid for by competing food companies, as fact. Then he scares people that don't use his 5 brands of food with these articles, that say in the first paragraphs 'this isn't scientific data'. I'm not saying he isn't talented, but he isn't the best. The lack of understanding or willingness to work with patient's families made it an easy decision never to return. To make it worse, some of the brands this Dr. suggested have been known to carry molds that cause cancer, a simple FDA web search makes it clear. Don't waste your time with these folks, they know it all and they have no room for other opinions - no medical professional should ever get to this point as it's time to retire. Response to the below comment: Didn't threaten anyone - I reported your practice to the State. Not once have you admitted that passing badly sourced, opinion pieces is not appropriate - instead choosing to double down that I was rude, which I was not. I would encourage you to reread your defaming response and change your rhetoric, as I haven't threatened anyone, I reported the practice as is my right. We don't feed our dogs grain free diets, further proving my point. You don't listen, you don't engage, you instead talk down to patients. I also clearly stated we were moving on to Ben, but spin it however you'd like to justify your behavior.

I had been to 5 vets before I found Dr. Whitebone. He takes the time to do a thorough exam on my pets. Naticook is very affordable and Dr. Whitebone gives great advice showing how much he cares about his work. The clinic is a family atmosphere run by him and his very nice wife.

We had our first appointment at Naticook today and I was very impressed! Staff is so friendly and personable, it immediately made me feel at ease knowing my dogs were in good hands. Another huge plus is their punctuality.. we waited maybe five minutes after being checked in and went right into the exam room. Overall great experience, would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

I had received multiple recommendations to this vet when seeking to change. When I called to speak to them about their practice and the possibility of transferring care, the receptionist Lisa was extremely rude to me. She put me on hold several times during our conversation, which was fine, totally understand. But during the call she made several comments like... "so is there anything else you want?" (said in an annoyed tone) and "I don't know what else to tell ya". I was super nice to her and was really asking normal type questions. It was really odd that she would treat a prospective client that way. I shared my opinion on our local FB forum to someone that was asking and discovered I was not alone in my opinion. Many current and former clients posted the same sentiments. I obviously opted NOT to take my pups there and have since found a wonderful new vet.

We were Dr. Whitebone's clients for years until he moved a distance that was impossible to travel with our move. Now he is back, with all the people we loved and new friends to be made, He graciously accepted us and our four dogs with no hesitation. We are grateful to be 'home.

I just wish that I had found them sooner! Everyone has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient. Our dog is complicated both in temperament and health, and everyone at Naticook has been fabulous with him, and with us. They've answered all my questions, never made me feel rushed, handled our pup with great care and patience, and helped us to manage some challenging medical problems quickly and affordably.

My dog tulip has been a patient of Dr Whitebones for 2 years now and the entire staff has always been very knowledgeable, helpful and so caring. My dog stuffers from anxiety due to past abuse and trauma before I adopted her and they always are so careful and caring towards her. They are reasonably priced and don't constantly try to sell you on things that aren't absolutely necessary. So happy we found this vet

One of the best experiences we have ever had with a Vet visit. Brian was an amazing help in getting our new puppy into his first exam and the two made an instant connection. The directions and feedback were clear and all of the follow up appointments were made right away. The level of care is greatly appreciated and I would recommend them to anyone.

Best vet clinic in the area ! We have 3 dogs now and had dogs in the past 30 years. Naticook by far is the most caring, skilled, affordable and well organized vet clinic. From the moment techs come out and most tenderly cradle little once or gently lead large dogs into the clinic it is clear that these folks love animals and it is not "just a job" A most wonderful touch, follow up calls ! <3 Answering every question, diving into the problem, showing compassion, no matter how complex, multilayered or silly, Business side is very transparent, "all cards" on the table, invoice arrivers in a timely fashion with "0" surprises. I would recommend Naticook clinic to everyone who cares for their pet.

I recently moved my dogs from another (perfectly great) area vet hospital to Naticook to continue care for them from Dr. Kate Waples. One of my dogs has a bad heart and other complicated health issues. I live in NYC most of the year and have access to fancy vets and expensive specialists, but I've kept Dr. Waples as my primary vet because I trust her advice. She's quick to address and prioritize issues and to explain things in clear terms. She's a delight to talk to even in rather stressful and emotional situations and takes the extra time to answer every question while loving on the pups. Everyone else at Naticook has been kind and professional, and the space is super clean and covid careful. It's way bigger inside than it looks from the street.

I’ve been bringing my cat to Naticook for the past two-ish years after moving to the area and I’m so glad I found them after reading online reviews. Appointments are on time, hours are flexible, and the office is very clean. Dr. Whitebone and the veterinary technicians take time to explain everything and truly care about their patients (even taking the time to call the day after an appointment to check in). If you’re considering Naticook for your furry friend - I highly recommend them! ????‍⬛ * Special shout out to Lila who recently did a great job at comforting my 17 year old vet-afraid cat at her recent appointment.

If you're going to Bainfield among the many corporate bought out animal hospitals, you're doing it all wrong. Dr. Whitebone and co are amazing, caring and not out to bury you in vet bills and "subscription based" care--- but instead make a living, build a solid customer base of furry babies and get what you expect when you bring the buddies in for care: solid veterinary care. I challenge anyone who goes to any of the local animal hospitals to find anyone who cares more about your pet than Jim. It wont happen, because we made the rounds through Milford, Merrimack and Nashua and most have been bought out and have numbers to meet for the $hareholders. 6 stars.

I just want to thank Dr. Whitebone and his amazing staff for all the care they took into aiding my girl Mia into recovery with her autoimmune disease. This hospital really takes care of their patients and with Dr Whitebones knowledge he was able to get my 2 year old pup back to herself again. I am so pleased and highly recommend going here! Happy to have my girl healthy again!!

Today was our first appointment (my dog Molly & I) with Dr. Whitebone. I am very glad that I made the switch after many years with another vet. I selected Naticook after reading many positive reviews and learning that this practice was a smaller one. I was immediately acknowledged with a friendly greeting and was seen at my scheduled appointment time. A thorough exam and full explanation throughout was provided. Rates were very reasonable and the facility was very clean. Of most importance to me was how both Dr. Whitebone and Mel interacted with Molly. I left with the feeling that they truly cared for her and that I made the right decision by switching to Naticook.

Doctor Whitebone and his staff are beyond amazing. I brought my dog here for her torn CCL. Not only was her triage amazing but the surgery was a success. Very intelligent, caring and understanding. A true lover of dogs. I recommend this place 200%

After 10 years of not so good vet care locally, I had finally had enough with my previous provider and researched other options. This led me to Naticook based on google reviews. I could not be more pleased I ended up here. I’ve tried two other vets locally and they all seemed to have a vacuum attached to your wallet, while being dismissive of your pets needs, and making money was their only concern with your pet. This place is totally different, reasonable cost and care and service beyond anything I’ve experienced. My only regret is I waited so long to make the switch.

Dr.Whitebone has been my dog's veterinarian for years. He truly cares about the animals and has a sovereign knowledge of his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a veterinarian. When I was researching some alternative/ holistic things for our dog, he really helped me to decide what were the right choices for my dog by explaining all the clinical research, studies and data that I needed. Again, would highly recommend. His prices are also reasonable.
