This group of professionals combines great medical care with real compassion for our animals. From regular checkups to difficult end-of-life decisions, I have appreciated the team and their obvious concern for animals.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Belanger, Dr. Porter, and their techs. They've been so good to us with the care of our fur babies, and sadly, the sudden loss of three recently (Pixie, Evan, and Halo). They have treated all our pets, as well as my husband and I, with the utmost care, patience, and professionalism. They never rush their exams, they always return calls, they respond to refill requests immediately, and they never push services that aren't needed. Above all, they truly seem to care about the pets they are treating and their owners.

Knowledgeable and caring doctors and staff. Every time I take my boy to Hillsborough County Veterinary hospital I know he is in good hands.

They killed (euthanized) my dog and charged me $500 for it, great customer service! Got a cute box out of the deal so yeah!

The staff at Hillsborough County Vet is awesome!! Our new puppy will be our third dog that they have taken care of and we have never had anything less than exceptional care.

We have taken our cats to Hillsborough since 2016 and I wouldn’t bring them anywhere else! The staff is so caring and professional. Dr. Porter is our vet and she is wonderful! She is honest, thorough, caring and has always taken the time to explain and help with even the simplest questions.

I have been going to Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital for many years with my cats. (Dr. Porter has been my vet for years, even before that as well.) All of the technicians and vets there are great and handle my kitties with the best knowledge, equipment, and vet techniques. I trust them, and think anyone looking for a great Vet Hospital should go there. Most of all the kitties like them all there!

I always feel confident & comfortable when I have to take my three kitties to HCVH. The staff is friendly, thorough and takes very good care of them. Their rates are reasonable and they are very close by, which makes our commute so much easier :)

I’m a first time dog owner and been taking my dog here for about 8 months now. Everyone we have dealt with has made us feel so comfortable having our little man in their care. We are very happy with the care our dogs have received at HCVH. Beyond the 'regular' appts, they have seen our puppies quickly when they've had other issues, like a skin condition and a sprained knee. We highly recommend HCVH.

We have been going here for many years and our pets have always been treated with expert care and compassion. Our experiences with Drs. Belanger and Porter have been outstanding. They have conferred with each other on our pet’s care and with other experts in the veterinary field. You will not be disappointed with the level of care you will find here. And their support staff is outstanding as well. A first class organization all around.

Dr. Robin porter is the absolute best.she is very professional and really loves what she does and it shows in the care she gives each and every pet that is seen by her.i don't know what I would do without her. Anyone lucky enough to have their pet taken care of by her should realize how fortunate they are. P.s. 5 stars isn't enough. Give her 10.

Love Hillsborough county vet. They are amazing with my border collie Maggie who can be a little anxious. They are also amazing taking the time to fill me in and be a true friend and partner in Maggie’s world. ❤️

Always friendly staff willing to find time to squeeze last minute appointments in for emergencies. You can tell they truly do care about my cat and treat him so well. My cat can tell too! Everyone has been very good and patient at communicating everything they find with us and explaining issues going on, the remedies we're taking, what could be expected by them, and answering every question we have and doing so in ways and terms we can understand. Highly recommend anyone to take their pets here. There are some vets a little closer, but we make the longer drive to come here, and it's so worth it.

Wanted to write a quick review and tell everyone how happy I am with HCVH. They have always been there in time of need. No matter if its been an appointment or last minute, they have always taken good care of my pets. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else and I am grateful for all they have done and will do in the future.

Very easy to refill needed medication for our senior English Springer. Been going here for over 20 years. Safe, reliable, knowledgeable vets with living, caring vets.
