Put down $350 sedation deposit and was then quoted $5,000 to $6,000 for the MRI. Discussed finances with my husband, and called back less than an hour later to get the deposit back (in order to take my cat back to the local vet). The rude …

My Dog recently ate about 20 grapes, and as most know, this is toxic to dogs. It was late in the evening and my vet was closed, so I called in a panic. Hannah was so amazing and helpful! She not only gave me great advice, but she had recently been through this with her dog and helped calm me down. I will forever be grateful to her! She saved my dog's life. THANK YOU!

Long overdue review, but had the absolute best experience with SNHVRH with my black lab rescue who developed a rare case of bilateral zygomatic sialadenitis (salivary gland infection - jaw was locked, unable to eat, drink, eyes swollen …

Where to begin? I guess it’ll all be spelled out in the lawsuit that I’m going to file against them. They have Carnie like vets that travel around the state, yet they’re afraid to actually sit down with a patient because of the pandemic. How convenient. They stay in hotels, eat out in restaurants but refuse to even FaceTime or Zoom with a client to tell them what’s wrong with their pets. Apparently the hypocrisy doesn’t stop there and their pandemic excuses do not apply to Amazon, UPS and USPS when the deliveries came in and the driver walked in with no mask. Even Dartmouth Hitchcock does teleconferencing for patients now, but for some reason these failed medical students refuse to actually interact with their clients. Their staff is rude, unprofessional and ignorant; specifically the boy they have working there that didn’t even say hello to my dog when he came out to being him in. I would suggest going to anywhere else before you get a false prognosis from doctors who aren’t qualified to give them.

During Covid when no one else would help my cat, they did. They understood my budget and offered fixes they did everything they could to save my boy but unfortunately he didn’t make it through the night at no fault of theirs. Unfortunately he had some genetic issues but the staff Including the main vet woman were all so amazing and understanding and I wish there were something I could do to pay back to them every ounce of caring they poured into my boy in that hard time. I can not thank the staff enough honestly! From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much! Beyond words!

My vet referred me to Southern NH Vet Referral Hospital. We have seen Dr Lister and Dr Pike. Everyone here is extremely nice caring and professional. Dr Pike spent alot of time going over things with us and they genuinely care abour your pet and what is best for them. I would highly recommend them.

I didn’t have the best experience here and won’t be back. I understand that there are a lot of variables and circumstances with animals that can be unpredictable but felt others might benefit from this information when considering options and save their cat the stress and save them the cost. For unknown reasons, they were unable to do an ultrasound or even complete a basic exam on my cat who has never had any issues anywhere else. He was supposed to be scheduled for an ultrasound and then a consultation with Dr Rollins to interpret the ultrasound and make recommendations from there. Instead, he called me after the exam and told me my cat was too agitated to safely do the ultrasound (hissing, scratching etc) and instead they did an incompletely exam ( most things said “unable to determine, cat too squirmy) so in the end I paid $170 for half an exam that is $65 through my usual vet and put my senior cat through unnecessary stress that did not lead to any diagnosis or helpful information as they had no clinical info. Also, i would not have had them proceed with the consultation appointment if i had known they didn’t even do the ultrasound as it was completely pointless- there was nothing to consult on. They suggested putting him completely under (costly and also risky for his age) just to do this simple ultrasound. I was not comfortable with this as I was questioning their competence at this point and told them no. My 15 year old cat sees a vet no less than 7 times a year ( echocardiogram, ultrasounds at CAVES in Concord and numerous visits from ARK animal homecare ( 3 different vets) and none experienced anything like this with him. After this experience, I brought him to VECNH on brown avenue with Dr Mclellan who was able to do the ultrasound with no issue in 20 mins and said he was perfectly fine for it ( as he has been for all other visits). It seems odd two vets ( Dr Rollins and the ultrasound Dr could not manage to handle a 12 lb senior cat with no history of aggression. I am not sure what the cause of his agitation was at Southern NH referral or what exactly set him off, but based on my experience I definitely couldn’t recommend them for cats at least. When the tech brought him out to me, she told me he started getting upset and stressed when he was put in a crate near a mirror and saw himself. Why would they have a mirror near a crate?! I received a feedback survey from them a month ago and shared my disappointment and concerns about the experience and received no response.

Thank you so very much to Dr Rollings and his team at SNHVRH. Dr Rollings, you made the passing of Piper such a beautiful memory for us and we will never forget the compassion and patience you took for us on that very hard day. You guys went above and beyond and brought us to tears with the beautiful memory of Pipers paw print that you mailed to us, that was such a kind and unexpected gesture. We truly will never forget the day we put our angel Piper to rest, all thanks to you and your kind staff.

Veterinarian and technician went out of their way to evaluate Lucy, our 6 month old puppy. Showed compassion when I was worried she had something seriously wrong with her. Luckily she was fine. Thank you!!

Very nice experience! tI was the first time our 11 year old cat stayed overnight in the hospital. Super friendly and caring staff and they took excellent care of our boy. We did not have to wait long at all to even get to speak to the doctor. The processing was very smooth and really everybody was so nice! By far the best emergency vet clinic I've ever been to. Thank you!

Stay AWAY!!! We were here for three hours (separated from our dog that they promptly put in a cage the minute we got there) before they gave my poor dog pain meds and made us an appointment to see the MRI Specialist ($180 just for her to LOOK at him) the next day. We were home 30 mins before he was right back to the pain level we brought him there in. Save the money and bring your pet to a reputable animal hospital. This isn’t it. We only chose it because it was closest to home and found after that even our vet does NOT recommend this place. They recommend after hours care on Brown Ave or Windham. Stay away from this place. Oh, and it was FILTHY inside, and the veterinarian looks like a homeless woman.

We have been a patient at the clinic for several years without a problem until today when I had the pleasure of dealing with one of the rudest receptionists I have encountered in a long time. If you are looking for compassionate caring staff you won't find it here. I'm not sure what happen to this place but we will find a new specialist for our dog's care.

Listed as an emergency vet, went there and no one was there. Phone number on the door went to an answering service, and they told me to go to an emergency vet. Real good when a pets having an emergency.

Not open on a Friday at 8 pm even though posted hours say it is open 24 hours!!! My puppy needed emergency care and going here, to find that they were closed, delayed immediate treatment for poisoning. Change your posted hours if you're not really open!!!

Brought my sick dog here a couple of days ago and before I arrived, I called and asked if they were allowing people in with their pets due to Covid or was it still curbside ?? The lady on the phone said people could come in as long as we were masked. So we went and the office manager running the front desk was extremely rude and completely unprofessional. She told us they were not accepting walk ins - hmm... that should have been mentioned when I called. No signs on the door stating that anywhere. I’m also in the last month of my pregnancy so it’s very hard to breathe, had my mask slightly under my nose... she screamed for me to put my mask above my nose even though I was more then 10 feet away from the desk. All she did was complain about how busy they were when they really weren’t at all. I should of left when all of this was going on ... BUT I was worried about my dog so ofcourse when they said we could stay so he could get checked out, I stayed. The ER doctor and tech were pleasant! Had no issues with them whatsoever. I would suggest you guys hire a more professional office manager as she is most likely going to run your business into the ground and apparently can’t handle more then 2 things at a time... I definitely will not be back!!! I also want to add that when I was checking out, I thanked the office manager for taking us in and how much we appreciated it, she didn’t even acknowledge me..

Rude receptionist. I called in tears asking for someone to please take a look at photos (my cat has a HUGE mass on her face, and has been shuffled from vet to vet for 5+ years now). I've brought her on countless consults just to be told 'we won't touch it', and in hopes of avoiding that again, wanted to get over photos. The rep was cold as ice. Couldn't have cared less about my cat or providing any help. She was condescending, and as soon as she began raising her voice with me, I hung up. I will not be bringing my pet to this vet. Look elsewhere, especially if you actually need to speak with someone who isn't a robot.

We brought our dog, Remo here to be seen by Dr. Garrod. He was recently diagnosed with chronic heart disease and he needed to be seen by a cardiologist as soon as possible for more tests and to develop a treatment plan. I was able to get him an appointment right away even though he had never been there before. The staff were friendly and Dr. Garrod was so kind and very clear with her diagnoses and recommendations for treatment. Although the wait was a bit longer than anticipated (understandably because she was the only doctor at the time and there was an unexpected emergency as well) the waiting area was clean and comfortable and the staff kept me updated often. The cost ended up being less than I anticipated and since then they have been so helpful with any questions that we have had since his initial visit. I highly recommend them and am happy to say that I will continue bringing Remo here for all his specialized veterinary needs.

Wonderful facility. Gracious staff. Was able to go in the building with mask and be with our dog. Dr. Garrod the specialist was superb. The diagosis was done so fast - we were distraught parents at 2 a.m. not knowing what to do! Bruiser is home and well thanks to all of the caring hands!

My family has been going to the Abby Road Emergency Vet for years. It recently changed hands and is now run by Southern New Hampshire Veterinary Clinic. The care and support we received in June was certainly not what it used to be. We heard many times in one visit from the vet, "I do not usually work at this facility" or "This is my first night here", which was not comforting at all. They were slow to get back to my family regarding results and it was hard to get a vet on the phone to discuss results. Overall a very disappointing experience during a tough time.

When our puppy had a sudden onset of unusual symptoms, we brought her to 2 different emergency vets who had no idea what was wrong with our 12 week old pup. When we got to Southern New Hampshire Veterinary, even the front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They were fast with getting her in, even during a pandemic with strict rules and procedures. My pup was then with Dr. Ellie Wahlberg, and instantly I felt comfortable leaving my puppy in her hands. She was kind, comforting, and extremely knowledgeable. She kept us updated at every step, and loved on our pup like she was her own. I can’t thank Dr. Wahlberg enough for her kindness, compassion and patience she had with my boyfriend and I. I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Southern New Hampshire Veterinary!!

DO NOT go to Southern NH Vet Emergency In Manchester NH! They Killed My Baby.... My Dog was only supposed to be watched over night for an IV Fluids, and the Doctor calls next morning says she is gone.... Well a week later we call to get her ashes and says she is not there to be picked up yet, which was a LIE, we call the Place who cremated her says she’s already been sent back, Well my baby has been sitting on a desk for the whole weekend, this place is a LIAR. I recommend you do not bring your pet there.... bad experience....

Our dog had an unfortunate run in with a neighbor’s dog and ended up with multiple bite wounds to her front legs and head. After waiting 3 hours we still hadn't been seen at another emergency vet. We called here and were told we could be seen right away. They took our dog right back as soon as we walked in, treated her, and we were out the door in less than an hour with antibiotics and pain meds. Great COVID safety precautions as well. Thank you for fixing up our pup!

My dog Rocky is a rescue. Not exactly sure how old he is but we estimate about 12. He went for a dental cleaning at his regular vet. Since he was under anesthesia already, they include xrays in their fee to do a full body check. Upon review, his Dr. saw some things she did not like. Shout out to Dr. Troy at Banfield in Salem NH. She wanted him to get an ultrasound but they do not perform that at Banfield. I decided to call two places to ask questions and pricing on the ultrasound. One was in Woburn MA and the other was Southern NH Vet Referral Hospital. We arrived at 2pm to learn there was a technical issue and our appointment now showed 4pm. I did not react politely and for that, I regret. They took us in regardless and performed the ultrasound. The Dr. was confident that he could not find anything wrong with our Rocky but had 2 and then 3 sets of eyes to verify. My xrays were left at Banfield and rather than send me for a disc, they redid them and sent me home with and old age bill of health. Im not upset to learn my pup doesn't have cancer after all, but I will say- $495 was worth the piece of mind. Thank you for everything!

Went to this vet hospital a few months ago and they were great, during late night and amid covid19 restrictions, they were also very busy but still were able to see my cat, diagnosed the problem and prescribed the correct medication which fixed the problem within a week. Also very professional, courteous and polite. Really good experience.

My roommate and I brought our pit mix Yasha here after being referred by Suncook for an ultrasound. Yasha an older gal who has only been her first home for a year, so she went in pretty timid. They were very sweet and gentle (and calmer than I was!), and made sure to report back to me how well she was doing. We had known Yasha had mast cell tumors, but was still in the process of finding out what stage she was in, and if the cancer was internal. Doctor Garrod had an incredible bedside manner and was able to sit with us and answer as many questions as she could answer. She also offered to dispense Yasha’s cancer medication out of Manchester and work with her oncologist, who is in Maine. Thank you for taking such good care of Yasha, and thank you for being so kind with all of our questions!

Dr.Rollings is the absolute BEST! My dog has been through hell with her IBD. I was so unhappy with her last specialist, I didn’t think she would ever get better. I took a chance on SNHVRH and I couldn’t be happier. Dr.Rollings takes the time to listen to all of your concerns and comes up with a plan A and plan B. My dog has shown significant improvement and I am so grateful to all of the staff!

Staff and vets there are great! Came here for neurology after months of trying to manage my dogs seizures with medicine prescribed elsewhere. They made me feel comfortable and confident in our treatment plan. I will be going here from now on!
