My friend has been taking her animals there for years. The staff seemed very friendly and willing to find the answers to any questions that was asked.

We called the Banfield we usually use, Mercy Animal Hospit, but, they are run extremely poorly. We were told we could not get out pet in for 2 weeks. I called this location, and, after listening to what was going in, even though they had no openings, they agreed he needed to be seen right away. They asked us to drive him down, and we were told, they didn't know when they could examine him, but, they definitely would. About 1.5 hours later, they called and said that he needed emergency surgery. They even set it up for us at the vet that would do the surgery. We picked up our little dude, took him to the emergency vet, and they did surgery right away. What a difference between the two Banfields!!! Even though we do not live close to the Manchester Banfield, that is where we will be going. They even called us next day to see how our pet was doing. They showed true caring and compassion, and diagnosed quickly a condition that would have been fatal. I have nothing but good to say about this hospital

Took my dogs here for a checkup. My male dog has been having problems eating and vomiting. They told me I could pay about $1,500 to get X-rays and stuff to maybe find out what's wrong but if that didn't work I would have to pay a few thousand to do exploratory work and see what's wrong with a camera and scope down the throat.. then I was told whichever choice I picked neither one were guaranteed to figure out what was wrong so basically be throwing away money to maybe find out what's wrong with my baby. I was advised against doing either and was told by the vet to just change his food to bigger food and to get a slow feeding dish. Both of which I did and well he does not puke as much anymore he still has an issue. They were very friendly but a little on the pricey side for me.

I've been a customer at Banfield for about two years now, I have a wellness plan through them as well. The issues first started with the rude staff, not being able to get my dog in for appointments (before covid) and I've had to take him to different veterinarians for second opinions. The first big mistake I should have canceled over was his teeth. They said he may need all or quite a few removed. Now my dog has to wear a muzzle during his visits. So not a single vet from there as actually inspected his mouth up close. On top of that, when he did have a cleaning and extraction scheduled, they called and told me they were not comfortable doing it. Huge red flag. So I took him to two other vets. One said just from looking from across the room that she couldn't make a judgment and recommended I went elsewhere. I respected her being honest. You can't give a proper answer on what you cannot properly see. The second vet I brought him to actually got on the floor and thoroughly inspected his mouth. He does not need a single tooth removed and actually said he should not have a dental cleaning and should not be put under unless absolutely necessary. Which leads me to the most recent issue. He needed a biopsy for a growth on his chest. They said they could not do a needle biposy as the bump was to small. And they quoted me almost 400 to have it removed which they wanted to do while he got a dental cleaning. I knew it was BS. So I brought him to another vet yet again. A needle biopsy was done right in the office and I got the resulosane day. I have been trying to cancel since May 10th and everyone I have talked to is either extremely rude or says they can't help me. I declined to py any fees to cancel considering my experience with them. The lack of response and customer service is by far the worst and most disgusting I've ever experienced. I would never recommend Banfield to anyone for any reason. It's a scam and the wellness plans are a joke. I've contacted the BBB and they haven't even responded to them yet. I had to put a stop payment on my bank account because no one will resolve it. If they even think about putting anything on my credit I will be contacting a lawyer next. And I'm not the first person to have to do that. Stay away from Banfield for the sake of your pets.

Waited a month for an appt. Contacts me and said they have to cancel and reschedule for the end of July? 4 months to have my car and dog to be scene? Unacceptable to say the least. I would steer clear. I made the appt a month ago? TERRIBLE Company.

I have been going to this location for about 10 years. The vet turnover is remarkable, if I reviewed all the records I would probably have 20 different vets in that time. The last year has been the worst. You rarely reach someone over the phone. When you do leave a message it is rarely returned. When you go on regardless of lines you always have to wait. I left 3 messages and eventually just had to go in. The person at the desk told me they didn't bother listening to the messages. I was also told, as usual, a vet had left and they are back down to one vet. I called to cancel my plans and the rep was astonished they didn't recommend I visit another location. Just very poor service. If you just need vaccines it is ok but when you need actual help just go somewhere else.

We had our two dogs on the pet plan and it made our lives so much easier. The vet,a the techs and staff were great! We lost our dogs in a house fire last year not and it was not even a question when we got our new pup where we would be going!

I was under a plan for my dog. It does not cover much. After the first year was renewed automatically and I had no idea what the terms were. I asked if nurturing my dog was in the plan. I was told no. Only in the first year is included. If you dont use it, you lose it. To me it does not make sense. They asked around 470$ to nurture my dog under a plan. Needles to say I called to cancel and I was told I have to pay $150+ to cancel. I did not know. I have been going with my dog for 2 years and doctor Virginia is great but I think they are charging above reasonable and profit seems priority. Do not get into that plan as it does not help much. Their drug and services prices are high. There are more reasonably priced vets around.

They r too expensive. They don't work with u on anything like no payment plans nothing!! And don't fall for there bogus wellness plan cuz it don't cover really anything so your paying $40.00 a month to get your pets nails clipped cuz that's just about all they cover. Over all the place suxs wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

Honestly, one of the most poorly managed clinics I've ever seen. Living in Manchester, this is my emergency Banfield, otherwise I drive to Nashua. I had to have a prescription for one of my dogs filled nearby and it took me talking to three different people throughout the day for it to be done. The first two people said they would get it done, but lo and behold, hours later, it was still not completed. When you try to book online, they are "booked out" with five doctors indefinitely, only one has time three months from now. But when you look at their schedule in person, it's virtually empty. The front desk staff is never actually out front. You have to wait 10+ minutes for someone to decide to check on the front desk. Phones go completely unanswered regularly. Can't say anything for the competence of medical care as we are never able to receive it due to the incompetence of everything else involved with this clinic. Worth the money and time to just go somewhere else.

I'm giving 3 stars because every time I'm dropping off or picking up the dogs, I have to wait at least 10 minutes each time. They need to hire more people to better help the customers. Not enough people working at the counter.

Took both of my kitties here for the very first time! My experience with Banfield was extremely positive! Dr. Chapman was wonderful. He genuinely cared for my fur babies. Everyone was extremely nice & took care of all your needs. I had a few questions that Dr Chapman didn't have the answer to originally, however; he got the answers that I needed! Also, considering they were extremely busy on Wednesday, I would never have known if I hadn't seen it myself! I've never had such a positive experience at any other Vet's I've been to. This is now my new vet's for my fur babies! Nothing but the best for them! I would definitely recommend BANFIELD Hospital to anyone! Thank you BANFIELD & especially Dr Chapman for taking such good care of my kitties! I'm so happy ???? I decided to try you out. What a wonderful experience & peace of mind knowing your pets are being taken care of so well!
