Very expensive! Almost doubled the price on everything. Feel pressured buying their product. Waiting time is long for test result. Nothing works for my pup. We changed vet. Everything works great.

Always a stellar experience. Everyone on the staff is caring, compassionate, and down to earth. Dr. Barrett knows exactly what diagnostics are necessary and gives honest advice in plain English.

Dr. Barrett and her entire staff are amazing. I have been bringing my Pomeranian Cleo there for 8 years and she just turned 17. Over the years Cleo’s list of heath issues has increased and their office has always been professional, honest, compassionate, and had extreme patience when we needed it the most. I can’t thank their office enough and I would refer them to anyone looking for care for their fur babies.

I really would like to have my pets go to this vet, but they must not need new business, called twice and waited two weeks and still never received the call I was promised each time. Disappointing since i respect all that i have heard about this team. Note: Did call me back, happy to say my pup has an appointment in a few weeks.

We've been taking our dog to Kodiak for the last 1.5 years. Dr. Barrett is knowledgeable and caring. She does not push services unless absolutely needed. Our dog has been really healthy since we've gone to Kodiak. She also performed a tooth extractions because he had cracked his tooth on a bone. The surgery went well and he's been a different pup ever since. Their customer service and communication is awesome. I also love that they take an integrative medicine approach.

We cannot say enough about Dr. Barrett. She is a wonderful doctor and human being. Her compassion for all animals is evident and despite her crazy busy schedule, she takes the time you need to work with you and your pet. We recently had to euthanize a beloved dog and Dr. Barrett and staff did everything they could to help through the experience. Our dog Scout loves going to see Dennis, who is just awesome as well. We could not recommend them more!

We love Kodiak! We left our local vet to drive almost 40 mins to see Dr. Barrett and the team at Kodiak. We’ve got 2x golden’s with some stomach issues and we were able to get them back on track that’s to the guidance and education from the team.

We love Dr Barret and Dennis! When we leave any appointment I feel very comfortable and confident in what we discussed, unlike before at old vets where I was always doubting and googling after every appointment. Our dog was experiencing a lot of intestinal issues along with yeast over growth on his skin which was always red sticky and stinky. After trying everything our other vets suggested for 3years and changing his food so many times along with so much wasted money for no outcome I finally decided that I would take matters into my own hands and cook his food to remove any possible ingredients that could be causing all his issues. Not many vets align with this natural approach so I started to get nervous that what if I was causing him more harm than good. Some how we came accross Dr Barret while doing a Google search and brought our doggie to see her. She does a very extensive first appointment consultation and then sends you a very detailed over view and action plan. She gave me the reassurance that I needed that cooking his food was the right choice and that we we're heading down the right path to heal our boy! Her holsitic approaches with a comibination of traditional align with what wanted for our boy. She educated us on gut health and suggested natural supplements to incorporate, additional recipe options, and wholistic remedies to help heal our boy from the inside out. The first few several appointments can be pricy as it's important to get some testing done to get a true picture of what's going on along with the additional supplements but once your dog is on the road to a healthy life your vet appointments become so minimal so for us it was worth every single penny. I can't thank Dr Barret for being a part of getting our boy so healthy. Within a year of consistent natural diet and supplements all his intestinal issues went away his skin and fur is absolutely beautiful no redness no smell no shedding so soft and shiny! We are now super educated and aware of what our dog eats to keep him on this path forever. Education is key and Dr Barret provided us with so much great information that we are always sharing with our other fur parent friends. I always joke and say I wish Dr Barret could treat my entire family lol P.s Kobe loves all the smooches Dr Barret gives him!

The staff is incredible there. Dr. Barrett went above and beyond to help us when our dog got very sick. I would take our pets only to them.

I recently moved to the area and searching for a vet to help care for my SIX dogs. One is blind, one has a patella issues and one has IBS. There was NOBODY waiting in the lobby so I thought this would be an opportune time to ask some questions about their rates and their holistic approach for caring for my animals. The receptionist could not give me any straight answers and kept saying "that would be a question for the tech" so I said "well, can I speak to a tech?".. she said "No, they're busy"... I didn't mean RIGHT THAT second. I politely said, I understand they're busy could I please leave my name and number and have someone get back to me? She took my name and number (as if I was a nuisance) and it's been five days and no one has returned my call. Mind you, I also worked for one of the largest no kill animal shelters in the southeast and since I have relocated, I plan on working with rescues in the area and will NOT recommend this vet. You would think someone who walked in with SIX animals looking for help, you would have been a little bit more compassionate. I was very disappointed and discouraged especially after all the wonderful reviews I read.

Great vet. Her experience in both holistic and traditional veterinary medicine closely aligns with my own beliefs of there being more than one way to treat various afflictions. I am very pleased with the entire operation, very professional and caring.

I trust Dr. Barrett beyond words. She treats my dog Cassie as if she were her own. We drive 2.5 hours one way to maintain her veterinary care.

Dr Barrett and her staff are absolutely stellar. My Boo had terrible bladder crystals and Dr Barrett did her surgery, analyzed her diet, recommended changes to Boo's diet, prescribed a probiotic, and years later Boo is going strong with no recurrence of crystals or UTIs. Amazing.

Love this place! Dr. Barret is an animal lover and won my two dogs right over. She practices traditional vet care as well as alternative methods. She keeps me well informed.
