Nice place. Been going there for our cats forever. They have always been available in case of an emergency, to make a last minute appointment.

We have 2 English bulldogs and bring them to Ponemah which is over an hour away for us. We continue to bring them here because we have had nothing but great experiences. It’s become a place we trust. Dr. Provencher recently did surgery for one of our dogs. All of our questions and concerns were addressed with confidence & compassion which is all an overly concerned dog parent can ask for. Everyone that was a part of the process—from the receptionists to the vet techs to the doctor herself—was exceptional. I have recommended Ponemah to friends and will continue to do so. Thanks for being here for us!

Completely unreliable and unprofessional. Not only have I had my cats senior panel done here and I had to track them down to get the information back because they forgot to call me back a week late!. Then I bring my AKC/UKC breed Alaskan Klee Kai in for her puppy shotand they didn't know what her breed was or any of the common traits for this breed.. not a mutt a purebred dog that vets should know. Asking why my dog is sensitive around her ears when I had only owned her for 3 days and being shy is a huge trait! And when I brought her with me for my cats appointment they called her a Shiba and didn't have a clue who she was. And NOW i make a mistake and miss her consultation appointment to be spayed which is my my fault but I already had her bloodwork sent to them and they're really just needed to verify she is healthy enough to be spayed. So a heartrate? 15mins of talking IF that. They wouldn't squeeze her in for this before her already scheduled spay on June 15th (a month away from today) they wanted me to push her spay back 2 months! Which would of hit her heat cycle and would of required me to push it back even farther. I'll never be back with any of.my pets . They are completely out of line.

I travel over an hour for these people. They truly love all the animals that come through. They do follow up calls and work with you . This is our Samuel Edgar after his fun time this week.

Affordable, attentive and pups like them. Handling the pandemic very well with taking the pet from you in the parking lot and able to do payments right there.

Brought a rescue cat in for a checkup. Doctor said no way after getting scratched by the cat. Doctor said the only way was to try doping the cat before bringing her back in. Kinda raises questions about competence. Won't be back. One of the first lessons taught in medical school is; transference of the inability to treat a patient to the patient is a sign that you choose the wrong profession. Other signs include a staff to patient ratio of 10:2 during peak hours, no recommendations for the practice on localized social media...

Highly suggest, very knowledgeable staff and experts in their fields. We have used them for two of our fur babies, both had emergency issues throughout their lives and ponemah was there for us when we needed them most. We have also had to help our senior dogs cross the rainbow bridge and the staff was excellent, caring and emotionally supportive for the hard decisions. Thank you Dr. Edwards for being there for our fur babies when they needed you the most!

Ponemah Vet treated us better than I could ever imagine, and it all started by the first conversation with Rebecca on the phone! They took Mika, our 8 week old Shiba Inu just hours after we called them. The doctor went in depth and explained exactly the plan we are putting her on as she grows older. Rebecca also came outside to greet us and say hello. it was wonderful meeting her after we spoke on the phone earlier that day. Overall experience was amazing and Ava, Mika, and I highly recommend Ponemah Veterinary Hospital. We will be recommending you Ponemah Vet to all of our military co workers! Thank you for appreciating service members with your military discount. Thanks! - Chrystyan, Ava, and Mika

I took our puppy dogs there for annual visit. Got a good report. They had their shots and ready to go in a short time. They practice social distancing as expected.

More interested in upselling me on unnecessary services while being incapable of delivering the service I made my appointment for. A very frustrating experience. I will not be taking my pet here again

As always, the team of Ponemah Veterinary Hospital took excellent care of our boy! So grateful they were willing-and happy!- to stay a little late on a Saturday to address the issue so we wouldn't have to sweat out the weekend and Albus wouldn't be in pain. So appreciate it!

I am so impressed with Ponemah. The staff is so friendly and profressional. Dr. Huelle spent plenty of time with us and answered all of our questions. I felt my dog was in great hands and would recommend this place to anyone. I drive over an hour to see them because it’s so worth it knowing my dog is getting such high quality care.

I feel like every time I brought my pets there they cared more about upselling me stuff and procedures than they did for my pets. Also much more expensive than other vets, but I guess thats what I get for going to a vet in Amherst. Got 2 pets fixed and the Only thing I really did like is their laser surgeries really do heal quickly. But I am going to switch vets for the rest of my pets shots and routine care from now on because I don't want to keep being sold and dealing with them trying to scare us into unnecessary treatments.

I recently switched to Ponemah Veterinary Hospital, as my 9 year old Frenchton has been declining rapidly and despite having paid for every test under the sun at my prior vet to nail down a cause, I still had no answers. I wanted to explore a second opinion. I am so glad I did! Dr Troy Huelle gave my little man Flex a comprehensive examination and fairly quickly determined what was causing his symptoms. Since the problem had gone undiagnosed for so long with my prior vet we are now battling residual health issues that have come up, but it's incredible how the entire staff has come together to make me feel like we are all in this together. I'm also VERY impressed with their bedside manner! When I scheduled my first appointment at Ponemah I mentioned that Flex is very skittish at the vet. They remembered and without additional prompting took additional steps to make sure Flex was at ease (one tactic was to distract him with a spoon of Cheez-wiz while receiving a shot and having blood drawn - genius!). He actually likes going to see Dr Huelle! And their prices are so much more reasonable than my prior vet. I never write such long reviews but I am truly grateful to have found Ponemah!!
