Awesome vet and vet tech team, especially for rabbit owners! This vet was recommended to me because the veterinarian owns rabbits and took care of my senior buns with extreme care and compassion. I live about 40 minutes away but this place is so worth it!

One of the only vets I could find to help me with my guinea pig! They were very nice and knowledgeable!

Not to many vets taking the time to see new patients. Thank goodness for Have a Heart.

I just Got home from being my little Ivy (5lbs Chihuahua mix) for an emergency visit, this was our first time here and from the moment I called until the second we left everyone from the front desk to the nurse to the doctor was absolutely amazing, they explained everything from start to finish and were so professional. I will now be taking my fur babies here from now on,

Had a very good experience at this animal hospital. It is very obvious that they all care about the animals and not money. Would highly recommend them.

My rambunctious cat, who doesn’t like anyone, feels very comfortable here. Every time we have gone the staff has been extremely nice and the vet even took the time to explain how procedures worked before starting. Also, COVID restrictions are being taken seriously which is always a great comfort.

I brought my brother's pregnant dog there. He paid for an x-ray, and later followed the vet's advice to have a few labs done which he also paid for. When we went to pick her up, we found out that we had 3 payment options. Cash, credit, or some dog insurance loan program that he would have to get approved for. With no option to be billed, the dog would've basically been held for ransom if my brother hadn't been able to borrow money (meanwhile his dog is due within a week for puppies). Oh yeah, did I mention that we received no due date and that they still haven't given us the x-ray after 3 days? Another oh yeah, they didn't even do one of the labs that they tagged an extra $100 on to this ransom for. They gave him a vial and told him to fill it with her poop and bring it back. So why was he not only charged in advance, but also held accountable as if they already completed the task? The only reason I don't give one star is because the staff was nice and maybe we just got them at a bad time. I know it's not the staff's fault. It's whoever writes the rule's fault. If you read this, WE WANT THOSE X-RAYS PLEASE.

The most caring vet in New England. Everyone at this practice I believe does this because they love animals. Won’t think of any place else to take Chucky, StellaRu or My Juju ❤️

Our puppy fractured her leg and the care we received at Have a Heart was great. They were very mindful of the cost and the care. They are professional, personable and kind. She even came out with a heart on her cast.

This place feels like a transaction. We started going here for our pup and come to find out we were being charged more than double for medications. When I called and asked about the difference of price, they admitted that they charge more to people who pick it up in person out of convenience, necessity. To me, that is immoral. Here is a specific example where we were charged $75 for this medication and on their website it’s $55 or so. Come to find out it’s $36 on chewy!! all they care about is making a profit. We had also tried to go through chewy for different meds and they told us we had to go through them.

This beautiful clinic also has a great staff and compassionate doctors. I stopped in representing Lap of Love Veterinary hospice and they were super nice. Following safe guidelines...one of the veterinary techs came out and said Hi. She was really nice and professional.

Today I called Have a Heart to see if they could check a stray cat for a microchip and they came right out and checked it with only 15 mins til close and were able to get me in touch with the owners who haven’t seen him in 9 months and thought he was dead! Very thankful for their help, especially for staying after to call the chip company and get the info! The cat is back with his very happy family!

My cat had fallen ill a couple of days before 4th of July weekend, and was excessively vomiting while refusing water & food after chewing on a house plant. The second day of his illness I brought him to a 24/7 veterinary hospital where I was charged 922.00 for x-rays and blood work, and told that while the results were normal, the cat had a fever and they did not know why and we were sent on our way. The doctor told me if he continued to throw up, he would have to come back to the hospital and be admitted. The next morning my poor kitty was super lethargic and looked terrible. I was heartbroken thinking he wasn’t going to get better. I called two vets in southern NH, both of which my cat and family was seeing/had seen. One told me to call back around noon, and the phone was off the hook from 11:30 a.m. onward. The other told me they just didn’t have time to see him. I was panicking when I called Have a Heart. I can not begin to describe the amazing experience I had with this veterinary hospital and its staff. Without any prior knowledge of my cat, the lovely technician agreed to see him within a couple hours the same day. They treated me and my pet so compassionately, and the vet called me personally to go over his treatment plan and explain it thoroughly; he was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! He sent me home with some special food and gave me some take-home meds to soothe my cat’s stomach. Within an hour and a half my cat was eating again, it it was the GREATEST FEELING OF RELIEF. The vet even told me he would have a member of the staff follow up with me in the morning. I was so impressed by the professionalism, and beyond moved by the compassion and empathy they showed me during a time where I felt helpless and desperate. I will never go anywhere else again. I could not recommend more highly. THANK YOU HAVE A HEART, you’re all definitely living up to the name!!!

Receptionist was rude and argumentative, when I explained the severity of my pet situation she proceeded to ask for an email and then stated that she didn’t have the time right maybe give me a quote for Monday or Tuesday which wasn’t even guaranteed then informed me that she wasn’t just sitting around doing nothing. Wasnt empathic at all to my pets diagnosis. How can you have people working like that in your practice?!

Warning don't bring your animal to Have a Heart. They killed my dog. Sent home my dog with no aftercare instructions and the Vet was very inexperienced. The dog needed xrays, bloodwork and a catheter. Sent with only pain killers and steriods. The dog died a few hours later. I told the Vet the dog had blood in it's urine. He did absolutely nothing. Called the owner who was very rude and unmerciful. Stern warning don't let the Veterinarian Landers at Have a Heart treat your pet. He is responsible for the death of my dog.

Very helpful and easy going vet office that does not push the "spend, spend, spend or you must not love your pets enough" attitude you get from most vets. Actually the total opposite of that twice I have been told you can get this pricey test to be sure of something but it is not really neccesay as this med will fix testable problem or do nothing at all with no adverse effects for much less money !! What doctor, dentist, or vet ever tried to save you money ? This is the only one I have ever met ! And they were correct in both cases the meds cured issues with no expensive tests

Have a Heart is always a great experience with trustworthy professional staff. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly, always knowledgeable and I completely trust them to keep my furry little guy in good health. They are so great with my nervous puppy and always manage to put him at ease almost immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I brought a new patient there today my 12 year old cat named Nermal. She was very scared and quite naughty. The staff and doctor could not be more kind, understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend them to others looking for a new vet. I am glad I found a great place in the area to now take my kitty too. Thanks again!!
