Dr. Sharon at The Cat Doctor is the absolute BEST! Their entire team is so knowledgeable, so friendly & so conscious about what's best for your kitty. My boy is very anxious about car rides & carriers. He's always so spun up but they do such a great job calming him down & helping to put him at ease. They have carside service right now due to COVID. Although you can't go in to be with your kitty during the appointment (which is hard for anxious cats & cat parents alike), they came out to the car & stood in the cold for 20 minutes talking through everything with us. We have been a Cat Doctor family for years & I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else!

I was nervous about finding a new vet for my 2 senior cats after moving, but I got so lucky to find the Cat Doctor of Dover. The first time I brought them in, I was amazed at how relaxed my cats were within minutes of being seen by the vet. They were purring and accepting attention and treats happily, something I had never seen at previous vet visits. I have been going here for a few years now and whether it is for routine check ups, dental care or an emergency, all of the staff has been great. Their care for your cats shows in how they handle them as well as how they discuss any concerns with you. So thankful to have found them for my senior girls! Highly recommend!

After moving to New Hampshire and being use to a cat only vet I was very happy to find The Cat Doctor. They take such good care of my furrbabies!

They were able to help me find the right preventative flea medicine for my cat. He had his first checkup with them and it went well.

I took my kitten there and he was sedated without my permission and I was told to sedate my 4 month old kitten daily. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was very rude each time I called. The Dr. was also very rude when I spoke with her on the phone. When I called to get my kittens records switched over to a different animal hospital, I spoke to the vet. She gave me attitude and didn't seem to care why she was losing my business. If she doesn't care about losing customers how much can they really care for the animals. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and my cat was not in good hands. I DO NOT recommend the cat doctor to anyone if they care about the health and well being of their pet. The Dr. also trimmed my cats nails without my permission at our first visit. After the second visit the sedated him without my permission and proceeded to tell me to sedate my 4 month old kitten daily. They have a very rude staff and they do not care for the animals they "take care of". For a vet to tell me a kitten should be sedated on a daily basis is something I never thought I would hear, and I do not think this is a reliable place of business. They are also very over priced. The estimate I received for a neutering was $630, where as the estimate I received from my new animal hospital was $215. It is not worth the money to bring your pet to a place where they do not care about your pets health or well being. They just want your money and this place is a joke of Vets office.

The best place to take your cats. They care about your pets.

We started with Dr. Young when we moved here 6 years ago, and transitioned to Dr. Davis. The ABSOLUTE best place, staff and people, hands down! We had to say goodbye to our fur baby. Hardest thing ever. And "The Cat Doctor" was amazing. Love them.

We had to put our cat Tess down this morning. The staff could not have been nicer. They really made a difficult time easier to deal with. I highly recommend them if you need a vet for your cat.

I adopted my first kitten June '19, and found Thr Cat Doctor via Google when she needed her second distemper vaccine. The staff at this clinic are amazing! Very informative, helpful, and friendly. They have beautiful catios (patios for cats) for boarders, and their current inhabitants are looked after very closely! They even gave Mischief and me a goodie bag for her visit! She was even EXCITED for her second visit! All in all an excellent clinic, and a paw-sitive experience!

I just showed up at 2:50 for a 2:45 appointment and was told they would need to reschedule because I was late. Obviously, this is poor customer service, but poor patient care, having a stressed out animal in the car for no reason. I will not be going back to a practice that displays so little caring or understanding. This decision simply confounds me.

This is a cat only veterinary practice. Staff and vets are super nice and my two cats are very relaxed when they are there. No barking dogs!! :)

We have been really pleased with the care and compassion of the vet and boarding services provided. Very clean, too.

My cats are my babies and will go elsewhere only if it is an emergency. I have been going here for 20+ yrs and they have taken excellent care of my cats.

Love this place! The whole staff is warm, kind, and knowledgeable. You can see how much they love cats. I would highly recommend Dr. Young and the The Cat Doctor as they are the cat experts. They gave my girl a safe place to reside while we vacationed, and give a welcoming atmosphere for medical visits. It's a great place!
