Banfield Pet Hospital Concord, New Hampshire

Coming from a long-time Banfield customer… While you can’t beat the quantity of services that you receive for the price of insurance, this low-rated review is in response to multiple instances of poor communication, unprofessionalism, and truly awful bedside manner at this location. My experience today was the final straw that pushed me to leave this review. On top of receiving six requests via email to confirm the appointment (I confirmed the first and second time, then called the vet to confirm, and still even received a confirmation request after I had already dropped my pet off), the experience that I had with the vet during pick up has left such a bad taste for me. I followed up on a component of my pet’s bloodwork and received a jargon filled response with primarily anecdotal evidence and no clear plan of action. Despite me having patiently waited for over 20 minutes to pick up my pet, the vet responded when I had questions with “do you know what time it is? I’m meeting somebody at 2:30“. When I asked her what the cost would be of one of the medications she suggested, she said that she had to call her friend and tell them she was running late. We couldn’t have been talking for more than five minutes. It was shocking and frustrating to feel pressured into making a costly medical decision with minimal information, and then to be treated as if my pet’s health was an inconvenience was just too much for me. Going forward, I will be asking to have results emailed to me so as to not have to field the energy of the staff.

Their "plans" are a huge scam. They'll conveniently schedule you just after it expires so you have to renew for hundreds of dollars for your visit to be covered. Better yet, if it isn't covered, they'll ask for a $50 "visit fee" after they tell you a doctor isn't even available to see your pet for their annual visit! Place is an absolute joke. Save your time and sanity for a vet practice who won't rip you off.

I feel they are booking way to many people for their plans. The service has gone downhill DRASTICALLY!

Fantastic service and extremely helpful and understanding staff and vets. They made me feel confident that Velcro was getting the best help possible, and for an affordable price at that! I will definitely be bringing her to see Dr. Patrick Whearty again!

Been bringing my dog here for nearly 12 years. They are absolutely wonderful with her. They even have early morning drop off!

Been a patient for a long long time now. Each appointment is typically 15 to 20 min wait after appointment scheduled time, that's ok (ish). Last visit , I stood there for 7 or 8 mins, with 4 nurses & a Dr walking behind front desk and all ignored me. I finally had to ask a nurse if anyone was working this front desk, was told be with you in a moment.......:(

When my Mufasa had passed I was going to this vet they are wonderful and care. So when I adopted my Tux I brought him here as well. And the optimum Wellness plans are very wonderful. Tux and I recommend Banfield Pet Hospital

Pretty much same as usual for my experience at Banfield. Lovely staff, not a very long wait and Adam got his shot. The Tech cane out to speak with me and then off Adam and I went.

The staff was very friendly to my little kitten and made her feel comfortable for her first appointment. The vet took a good amount of time explaining everything he did with my kitty. I left there feeling like I made a good choice on where to bring her.

Reception was friendly. They brought my dog out back, Vet checked her over and brought her back with 2 meds for her ears and rattled of instructions for meds and ran back in but never said why I was putting meds in my dogs ears. Called in after I got home and never got a call back...Got a response from the owner to reach out to their Advocate Team. I did, 3 weeks ago, still no response from the "Advocate Team"... Even less confident with Banfield Pet Hospital now..

This is my cats new vet. I would give them 5 stars but trying to get my male cat fixed has turned into a lot of appointments, which I wish they said that to begin with. But the lady I spoke to last time was able to get my cat in for the very next week for me so they do try to fix any mistakes! Hopefully my experience will get better and I'll change my rating to 5 stars! Either way I recommend them for your furry friends

My pup didn't have an appointment but his ears were hurting him and even though they had a full schedule they fit him in between other scheduled dogs and I really appreciate that...the staff there is super sweet

Not very friendly or informative regarding procedures and cost

We used to take out chihuahua to a weekend vet at petsmart. Then we found Banfield hospital and switch everything over and signed our newest addition up immediately. We started going to the Manchester location and I was not to impressed. After we moved we transferred to concord and they are just amazing! They are all so caring and gentle with my furbabies. Dr. Ring is by far the best vet ever and I won't let my pups see anyone elelse Diamond & Rex both got fixed recently and I truly feel they were both very well cared for. The girls had a little fun with their names on the med bags which I thought was adorable. Most of all when I take the pups there they are not fighting the whole way to go. They enjoy going for all of the attention they get! Thank you Dr Ring & team y'all are so amazing!

We take two out of 3 pets to Banfield and just signed up our newest puppy (#4) the staff is amazing. It’s hard to find a good vet and one that’s affordable. Noble and Merida love everyone at Banfield and the monthly plans they offer are unbeatable. We can’t wait to introduce Valor to the Banfield family.

I cannot say enough good things about every single member of the staff I interacted with during my two visits to Banfield in Concord. Unfortunately we knew it was time to put out 9 year old GSD down and they were extremely compassionate and great with not only my dog, but with me. They did everything they could to help us through what is always a tough time for a pet owner. They even sent a condolence card after the fact and it had personalized notes from the staff members who assisted. I would not hesitate to return to the Concord Banfield.
