Absolutely the BEST place I have taken my 2 Scotties, Kathy and her staff are beyond awesome, they are kind and loving and my two dogs can't wait to get in there. WE love this place and never worry how are pups are doing.

Great people, took care of my dog for 5 nights and were very informative.

Kathy and her staff were extremely professional and friendly. The kennels were very clean. It was my 2yr old german shepherds first time away from home overnight. When I picked her up she was not stressed out. Blix received play time in large enclosed yard. The grooming service was top service. Pricing for all services were very affordable. I will be using them again and highly recommend this business!

Excellent service and good peoples!

Factual and unbiased representation of my interaction with this business. We made arrangements to have our two dogs board here for 1 night while passing through town. We arrived 1 day early and wanted to see about adding a night to their stay. We began attempting to contact this business. We were unable to get ahold of anyone on the phone - we called numerous times and I left a message. Thinking they were just busy with other dogs we went by their facility. At 11:00 AM on a Wednesday morning their business sign said open but their door was locked. I rang the bell numerous times, knocked on the door, and called again. No answer to anything. I spent a total of 45 minutes in their parking lot trying to make other arrangements for our puppies at another facility. The door remained locked that whole time and nobody appeared to be present. Hours after leaving we received a call from Kathy who seemed surprised that we were changing our plan. Dropping off your pets is a big decision and required a lot of trust and consistency. As we were unable to contact anyone at this business of multiple hours, we chose to go somewhere else. Wishing good luck on future clients, but hoping our interaction was a “one off” from normal.

I would like to give zero stars. Last week I brought my 9 months old golden retriever to this place. I made a appointment by phone and was told it was going to be $55. For a wash, dry, brush, cutting his nails and cutting the long hair under his paws. I brought him there and repeated what was to be done. I picked him up a few hours later. I really didn't pay attention to the job done besides that it looked that he gained 20 pounds. I thought it was the blow dryer. I had to pay $67.50. This is $12,50 more as what was said. Still I didn't say anything. When I came home the family looked at him and noticed that the hair of the point of his tail was weirdly cut off. A hack job. His nice curls on his back were half gone. The sides of his rear legs looked shaved. And the paws were not done very nicely. So I called them and explained. The reaction was that they don't cut the hair and that she had 25 years experience rescuing dogs. I really don't know what the last thing had to do with it. We arranged to meet today so the groomer would be there. And to my surprise it was all denied and they just lied to my face. That means my dog somehow, magically lost hair in the car ride between them and my house. And she thought I was mean to them and seemed insulted. Lady, you don't know mean. You shouldn't be running this place. The one star I will give for the fact they removed foxtails from his paws. I now understand there are more people with grooming problems from this place. I learned my lesson. People think again. Do not go to this place. After a week looking at my dog with a terrible bad haircut (the one they denied doing) I have to say again. People use your common sense. Go somewhere else. I would be willing to pay double for a job well done. I asked for no haircut and they screwed up my dogs hair really bad. I hope you read this again. Shame on you. And stop calling me.

They do a great job of caring for our dog when we go away on trips. Unlike other olaces we have tried to board our dog seems quite happy every time we pick her up after spending time there.

A true human being with heart whom treats and care for our fourlegged friends ???? are 5 ???? rated.

We left our cat here for 2 weeks and he was well taken care of. He came back happy and healthy. They seemed to enjoy him as well we will be using them again.

This place is awesome! Affordable, very clean and the people working here are great. My pup is a bit crazy and when I used to leave her with someone watching her at home but I'd come home to a very stressed out pup. When I picked her up from Chaparral she was happy and not stressed out one bit. Amazing! I recommend this place highly

Fantastic place to board and groom your pets, they truly do love animals. Dogs get to actually go outside and play while boarded instead of just being caged. Highly recommend, we have been bringing our 3 dogs here for almost a decade.

The only place I will ever leave any of my dogs. Very clean and spacious outdoor play areas secure and secluded as well to make the dogs feel comfortable. I left my husky girl for a few days and she was very timid but when she came home she was way better and behaved more. Not only do they keep them for you they take very good care of them. I have had so many bad experiences at vet clinics where my dogs come home filthy. I didnt opt for their grooming but i got back my dog and she smelled pretty good for being in boarding for a few days. I have always been iffy boarding my dogs due my past experiences but I dont regret leaving my dog here at all, I will definitely recommend this place to everyone i know as well as come back next time I need any of the furkids boarded. Not sure what happened to my 10 year old little guy. I’ve never seen such a trim done on his feet. Ever. I’m very disappointed. We returned the next day and expressed our disappointment and our money was reimbursed. Thank you

This was our first time having to board our Tama and Chaparral Animal Spa was AMAZING! From arranging the boarding, to getting a tour, dropping him off and then picking him up, everything was so smooth and worry free for us. Thank you so much!

This place is a joke. Got charged $50 more than quoted. Facilities were disgustingly filthy. Was sent home with what was supposed to be leftover food to find it wasn't even what I left them with.

When my husband Vinny and I got our Chocolate Lab puppy, we quickly realized that she needed to be professionally trained. Vinny's online research drew him to Chaparral Animal Spa. After he went to check it out in person and spoke to Linda, the owner/trainer, he told me that he knew he had found the right place and not because coincidently our furry baby's name is also Linda, but because Linda spoke with experienced knowledge and passion. After the 4 week stay at Chaparral, our little Linda come out not only well trained but healthy and happy. We will now enjoy our future vacations knowing that our Lab will be boarded with care and compassion. Thank you Linda and to your staff, Judy and Thomas for all that you do.

This is the only place I have taken my fury kids for years. I will not let anyone else groom or babysit my puppies. Linda always does a great job and I know my pups will never be neglected.

This is a great place for animals.
