What a lovely group of people who really care about and take care of the animals. We took home a great cat and thanks the team here for making sure we are a fit for each other.

They have all kinds of supplies for your pet that are sensibly priced secondhand products all in great condition plus Plus they always have adoptable pets in store I need some love. They have extended hours and the staff is always really friendly.

Love this agency and how they run things. I’m happily paired with my first ever cat and I’m so happy I was able to adopt her.

Our family is incredibly upset with how Hearts Alive Village and their adoption center based in Petsmart in Summerlin operated with adopting out a kitten. Our family adopted a 4 month old kitten that right away, had an upper respiratory infection. Although we took him to the dedicated Vet that Stephanie advised us to do AND she did reimburse us for the visit, we had to take him to the Vet again today. We took him to another Vet closer to our home, who diagnosed that the kitten STILL had an upper respiratory infection along with now, ringworm, which we were advised it can take up to 21 days to develop symptoms, so he had it when he was adopted out. The Vet advised that this is incredibly contagious and we have other pets and small children in our home. Stephanie did not advise there would be any assistance to try and keep the kitten in the home, since he had been with us for over two weeks, so we had to take him back. With everything that has gone on, it was yet another let down to our children that this had to happen. We were refunded for our adoption, but we wish that he could have been treated and then allowed back home. UPDATE - Our family has spoken with the Foster currently treating our kitten. We hope to have him come back home, happy and healthy once the treatment is done. We are going to stay in contact for the next 3 to 4 weeks to see if the options to bring him home is available!

I found out about hearts alive from my girlfriend she had said how cool the place is. I have a 11 yr. old pitbull, who now has arthritis in his rear legs and is having a hard time getting up and walking. I had built a wheelchair for his father but after he died I donated it to another dog in need. This time I decided to buy one. I went to hearts alive, the people are so helpful. The price for the chair was very reasonable and affordable. If you need anything for your pet clothes, food, toys, carriers, steps, treats, food/water bowls, medical treatment, or looking to adopt a pet, they have it all. This place is incredible. The work they do within the community is commendable. I recommend this place to all pet parents.

This place is a little piece of heaven on earth. I found a baby kitten while I was at work and they took him and found him a furrever home. If you have the money please donate. They also take food and cat litter for donations. I try to get over there when I can to drop things off. I wish I could have kept this little guy but I already have a full house.

I moved here from Seattle in September and adopted my first dog from Hearts Alive Village and it was an amazing experience! I found my dog on Petfinder.com which listed Hearts Alive Village as the contact. I called them to inquire about him and they said to fill out an application form online. 2-3 days later I received an email from Amy (director of operations) giving me more information about the dog and let me know that if I was still interested, she would put me into contact with his foster family. The foster family reached out to me quickly and we coordinated a meet-and-greet and it went really well so I was able to take him home for a 2-week trial period just to make sure it was a good fit before permanently adopting. Amy was fast about sending me his vaccination records for my landlord. The foster family is so sweet - they had him for 2 months before I got him so they love him a lot and are willing to watch him if I'm ever out of town - which is so relieving because I'm new to Las Vegas and don't know a ton of people yet, so having a safe place for him to stay when I fly back home to visit family is such a weight off my shoulders knowing that he's in a familiar environment with great people who know how to care for him. The foster family and Amy both made themselves available as a resource if I had any questions (which I did for the first 2-3 days), and they both were extremely helpful. After the 2-week trial, the adoption process itself was super easy! They texted me a link to sign the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee ($105 which is very reasonable). After I got everything squared away, Amy let me know that they would transfer his microchip information into my contact information and would keep Hearts Alive Village as a secondary guardian just in case. They also sent me complete documentation of his entire medical history, vaccination history, etc. Overall, it was an amazing experience and easy process and everyone from the organization itself to the foster family has been such a pleasure to work with. They've also been a great support system - I'm able to reach out to knowledgeable people if I have questions; I'm able to leave him in a loving and safe environment when I'm traveling. Just amazing!

HAVLV is amazing. Christy and Amy are Angels. never thought id need help with my 5 rescues, 3 dogs n 2 cats. but times have changed for alot of people. Without HAVlv I would be without means too feed my furkids. i appreciate the food for my allergic too everything boy and my toothless sr yorkie. They do their best to fullfill the special needs of my 2 problem children. the whole staff must have wings on their backs. hidden by their Super Hero capes. When they opened the clinic, it was a answer too prayers sent to help people who loved their pets but couldn't afford to go to the vet. ive watched them grow and I am amazed at the SAVE THEM ALL, every person in this organization has in their Hearts. Thank you for all you do for all the animals

Terrible “non-profit” that’s all about money. Stay away and don’t foster from here. They don’t communicate

We got our fur baby from Hearts Alive Shelter and we buy her food from the Hearts Alive Village store. We are thankful for both places.

I got my baby boy Bugatti from these trifling people end December, completed his adoption in Jan. I broke my leg in March, saving him from getting hit by a car. He died on my couch this morning, after 2 weeks of fighting and dying in my arms. He had lymphoma, which the shelter knew and never notified me of. My baby is dead, and had no treatment for his cancer the entire time I had him; because I had no clue. DO NOT TRUST THESE PPL DO NOT ADOPT!
