I've been looking for a vet for my cat and I was so impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness here that I booked an appointment to have my best friend checked out. I have a feeling going to the Dr. won't be so nerve-wracking. I'm excited to see how it goes!

Last week I took my cat here and waited around 45 minutes just for a 3 minute-ish appointment. The vet barely looked at him and shot down all suggestions I had that could possibly be the cause for the visit. She convinced me to give him two shots, spending unnecessary money because he’s sicker now than he was before. They’ve offered no help as to the CAUSE and have insisted on just shelling out money without properly looking into it. I don’t have a ton of money to shell out and he’s losing weight/getting sicker so obviously whatever they’re trying to do/sell isn’t working. I’m very frustrated with the lack of communication and direction. The place is fine… unless your pet is sick, then they’re in it for the money and don’t seem to actually care or want to help.

We brought our English Bulldog here as she was passing blood clots and we were panicking. The lady on the phone said they would probably want to run some tests and gave us an estimate of the sick check fee and the fees for the other tests. When we arrived, the vet was super kind and said we did not need to run any of the tests as our fur at was just in heat. They were very honest and we were so happy they didn’t run tests just for money even though we were expecting that! The vet said our dog looked perfect and we were doing everything right. The sick visit as well as vaccinations we got updated while there were extremely reasonable and affordable. We will definitely bring our fur babies here from here on out!

I had a cat that was ill and went to Westgate. The 1st apt was $200 and they gave my cat a shot that'd work in 2-3 days. The shot didn't help. I set another apt. Had to miss due to work and tried to reschedule and was told no. Since I rescheduled my apt they no longer would see my cat. This begs to question, do they care about our family pets or do they just want our money. Very bad optics here. I'll happily be taking my money elsewhere

I appreciate the support we got at Westgate. I was able to get my Tank in for an xray right away. He's had trouble with his knee for months after a bad grooming appointment at Petsmart. They discussed options for Tank's continued care with me kindly and respectfully and sent films over to our regular vet promptly and with no problem.

I went in with my 3 pups, a Chihuahua, a lab, and a pitty (Blue). Blue gets defensive and aggressive when he's at the vet even though he never does that at home. Dr. Peterson and his team were extremely professional and handled the situation with aplomb. Blue was very upset and overall a terrible patient, but the staff were unphased and worked with him to finish the appointment! I will certainly be returning.

I'm forever thankful for Westgate. They've been there for my dog when she was a little puppy. They did her operation when she swallowed a squeaker. They've helped me with her skin problems. They even did her dental cleaning. The vet has even been able to help me over the phone and even order prescriptions knowing that I am an over-the-road driver and can't always come into the clinic. I always know my dog is in good hands here. I would absolutely recommend this Veterinary to anyone that needs quality veterinary care for affordable prices!

The vet itself is nice but the lady on the phone is rude and unprofessional. Telling me that my English is bad because i wasnt born here def gave me the run. Not coming back here.

Dr. Peterson saved my 13 year old kitty from cancer :) the absolute best vet I've ever been to!!

I love this place! They saved my little girls life! She stopped eating and they figured out she had a very bad infection in her girl parts, did surgery the next morning and she is on the mend Thank you so much!

Outstanding-worked our sick kitty in on a busy day. Staff was very nice and prices were reasonable.

When I originally brought my cats here I had exceptional service with Dr. Peterson. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. However since he’s been booked out three months I had to see one of the other vets. My three-year-old cat had a UTI. After the 3rd appointment they said if the medication they gave him didn’t work they would send a sample in to have it tested to see what would take care of it. They did not do that and instead did exactly what they done before and prescribed medication he had already had that didn’t work. He prescribed nearly expired and dried out items which I returned for a refund and was also prescribed an unnecessary appetite enhancement medication so make sure you check exactly what they are prescribing and why because when I returned it unused and unopened I received $5.00 for a prescription I paid over $26 for because they said they would have to dispose of it. Personally if you’re prescribing an unnecessary medication that should be the responsibility of the clinic not the client. It’s worth going only if you can see Dr. Peterson. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. And I would not advise allowing them to put a credit on your account for returned items. They wont apply it unless you tell them to.

Friendly people who care about animals.

Guinney had his second vet appointment toward the beginning of July. He gets very anxious around unfamiliar places and with strangers, so he usually lashed out in the past. He was due for his shots so I was nervous on how he would react. The workers at Westgate Animal Clinic were all so amazing and compassionate! Guinney was very calm the whole time, he even has a small procedure done that day and when the vet brought him back to me, he was half asleep in her arms, which was so surprising to see. I had put a muzzle on him that day just in case, but even when it fell off (I put it on too loose) he was very calm. Will definitely keep going back to this place for all future vet visits!

Everyone was super pleasant. Had to take my brother and SIL's cat to get her fluids while they were out of town.

It was a very bad day. Keeper my cat had been very sick for a long time. He was slowly dying. I had him for 14 years. It was July 3, time 7am. He wouldn't eat anything. Got him fresh ice water and started calling Vetanarian clinics. I was referred to Westgate Animal Clinic. They squeezed me at 9am when they opened, I called them very early and the staff was there to help me. I was almost in tears. The staff was very understanding and knew what I was going thru. The Doctor explained everything that was about to happen. My buddy was put to sleep. There was no discomfort for him and I was allowed to be with him thru it all. The Doctor and the staff were excellent and very kind. I was also sent a sympathy card signed by everyone at the clinic. I was grateful and touched by their compassion.

These guys are amazing very reasonable pricing. I have had 2 emergency issues with my dog and both times they got us taking care of so fast and they love on all thier animals. I recommend to EVERYONE
