We love this vet! They are amazing with our dogs. We have two high energy dogs and they roll with all their quirks. They have helped us so much!

Frequently says "we cannot find your pet in our system." This after they cleaned the mites out of my cat's ear, and helped with urinary tract issues. Have been a pain since covid.

I have been talking my one year old Border Collie here for a few months and was in communication with them about setting up a planned time to bring in my aggressive black lab. He was a rescue previously abused and is absolutely scared of men. Well today he has an infection and needed to be seen asap. This has been something I have been so scared of as my boyfriend (who is much calmer) could not be there. I was very stressed and just didn't want to see my boy hurting and scared. They had all women vets and assistants who took such amazing care of him. I am a very nervous dog momma and they worked with us the whole way. Taking breaks when he needed them, give him love and treats. Absolutely knew how to properly handle a more aggressive dog. I cannot thank those ladies enough. Absolutely amazing. I genuinely hope you guys know how much it was of a relief to get Tank in and cared for the way you guys handled him. I added a picture of his new toy he got for being a good boy.

The staff here are the absolute best! They did a wonderful job helping with my sweet old kitty and were caring and accommodating throughout each visit. I will continue to come here and sing them praises to whomever will listen. Thank you all!

My dogs have been to Western Hills once before and for a follow up visit, I would rate the vet and the male tech that helped him 10/10. My interaction over the phone with the reception staff is the reason for my 1 star rating. Horrible customer service. We are moving out of state today and I did call last minute hoping they may be able to help us with anxiety medication for one of our dogs. I owned up to the fact I should have called sooner & the fact I couldn’t get in is not the reason for this rating, but how I was treated is the reason. She said they would have to see my dog in the office to prescribe her anxiety meds and the only available spot was 5:00 pm today. I let her know that would not work for us. Her response was, “Well, that’s all we have.” I just reiterated that it would not work and thanked her & SHE HUNG UP ON ME without a goodbye, not even trying to give us some other advice, not offering to see if she could talk to the vet and see if anything could be worked out or if he had advice work out. Absolutely no effort to provide further assistance or even have the professionalism to say goodbye. I’m dumbfounded by the lack of customer service.

Be prepared to spend at least $400-500 every visit .

Vet and assistants are very knowledgeable and caring.

I was in and out in no time to license my pets.

First time here with my cat and they are amazing, very clean and comfy!

They got my dog in same day for an urgent health issue and the vet fee was fair.

Being referred by our vet to go to to Western Hills was of no help in an emergency situation for our dog that was hit by a car and had to drive another twenty minutes to urgent care due to appointment only! Emergency services for pets should have some kind of priority of a routine appointment and not need a scheduled appointment. During Covid 19 or Not this was an Emergency not a checkup for vaccines.

UPDATED review: took two of my kitties in for a teeth cleaning & extractions, now one of my babies can NO longer HEAR out of either of her ears. Heartbroken is an understatement. Please go to a specialist for teeth cleanings & extractions. I don’t know if I am comfortable taking my kitties here anymore which really sucks because they are affordable & in a great location, about a mile from my home & two of my cats hate car rides so it was beyond convenient. After all this, I think I’m going to make the trip across town to my previous vet now. :(

Dr.tieman is an excellent vet and I highly recommend him for his candor and kindness to both us and our fur babies!!!!

I won’t take my pets anywhere else. They love my animals like their own and are always quick and responsive when I need to get my pups in!

We've been using Western Hills for a while now and have been on their senior dog plan for the same time. Our dog is probably the healthiest he's been all his life. They're always very responsive and honest about our dogs needs!

Ms. Tiemann was very welcoming when I briefly brought her an item for the business. It's welcoming such as hers that will make me want to bring my dog to this location for services.

Lots of parking space and very roomy waiting room. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I saw one vet for my cat and the other for my dog. Both vets took time to know my pet and answer all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed or left without answers. The facility is clean and well laid out. I was able to make appointment times that met my schedule. I highly recommend this practice.

We love everything about this vet! They go above and beyond to make the pets comfortable, and they send me amazing selfies they take with my dog. Update: Dozer now gets excited when we drive near the vet, and cries when we don't stop. This is something he only does when I'm driving near our old house or his favorite lake. ????

Friendly staff with GREAT bedside manor. I've never known a dog who loved going to the vet! The place is also very clean. Make sure you understand the wellness plan very well,

I also have experienced rude staff the last three encounters I’ve had. Due to COVID I didn’t know who to complain about until she was rude outside. I tried to call and let someone know but I didn’t get a call back until I was busy at work. A younger girl with short blonde hair and big ring curls in her hair. I didn’t know it was the same person till she came out and shoved the bottle of meds into my hand without a peep, and when I said thank you. Still, nothing. That’s when I knew. It was the same person who was so acidic on the phone. Also the last time I had to buy something for my dog she laughed under her breath as she said ‘you’re welcome’ because I said thank you and sighed at the cost. My dog probably won’t live much longer, so I won’t have to worry about coming back soon. Keep in mind. I’ve not returned the attitude back, yet.
