Top notch customer service and care!

Loved the vet and the staff. I'm so grateful to them. My dog went from bloody diarrhea to better within the day. The fun, dog-living, kind staff were able to fit me in last minute as I was driving cross country. My yellow lab had bloody diarrhea and the vet walked me through what was going on (nothing too serious), gave me a medicine to clear it up same-day (thank God, we were going to be on the road all day) along with some antibiotics to fix him up. Then the vet went beyond any vet I've had: he gave me special canned food for dogs with stomach issues to help my dog for the next few days, AND gave me a round of probiotics to help my dog get back in shape after the antibiotics.

Dr. Van Horn is very professional. Explains what the problem/s are, the specifics of the treatment/s and follows up promptly. I had been with another Vet for 12 years and am more satisified with his service and professionalism than I ever was with my previous Vet.

Wanted to make sure Midnight was not having serious problems. Felt good about the service. I would recommend this clinic.

I have been taking my dog here for the last 4 years and have had nothing but great experiences! Oliver looks forward to going to the vet, and that’s all I can ask for. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful! I highly recommend them!

Over the 12 years I have been bringing my dog here, and he has always had the best care. They are honest and trustworthy and very helpful with any health issues that have come up. I believe the reason Cooper is still a healthy happy pup is due to his great care and Dr. Van Horn's recommendations that keep him that way.

Everyone at OAMG is great. They take good care of the pets as well as the humans. They answer questions as well as address concerns of the people. We have been taking our dogs to OAMG for years, and will continue to do so, hopefully for many more years to come.

Decent place, but they like to push treatments that aren't necessary

They were unable to trim my dogs nails which a groomer did just fine 20 minutes later, and the medicine and everything was rather expensive

These people are petty. 10/10 would NOT recommend. They told me to give them my card # for a *deposit* on a weekend visit. I missed the appointment (my fault, things happen) and would not work with me to make it right. Charged me $78 for nothing. That’s ok OAMG. You can have my $78, I’ll take my pups elsewhere along with the friends who referred me to you. Funny you’ve been in business so long and haven’t figured out that a long term customer relationship is worth way more than $78 dollars.

Absolutely love Dr. Van Horn and all the staff here! Since I adopted my first fur baby Maya a few years back, they've been wonderful with explaining all the nooks and crannies of my dog's health. They always go above and beyond to put my mind at ease and make sure my feisty chihuahua Maya gets the best care. In my experience everyone's always been very sweet and patient with my girl even though she's quite "talkative". They also have outstanding coordination of care if I need to make a visit to the emergency clinic outside of their business hours and always have followed up to see how Maya's doing after she receives any sort of treatment. Definitely not cheap but in my experience I generally feel the quality of care is reasonable for the price. I highly recommend them!

Best vet in Omaha! All staff is super personable and willing to go above and beyond to give my fur baby the best care. It's clear that being a genuine animal lover is a requirement for all staff.

I really liked Dr. Van Horn, he explained things thoroughly and seemed to care. However, they're VERY expensive. It's not an issue until their medications are priced in house at 3x what I pay at a local pharmacy and your dog is getting multiple medications every day and has to get yearly lab work that's twice as expensive as other vets. The desk staff has also been frustrating to deal with when trying to get a hand written prescription instead as well. Not sure if I'll continue to come here.

First time visit with our new pup. Everything was great. They were quick and courteous. Dr. Van Horn was great as well. Discussed any issues we had and explained them very well. Prices were very reasonable compared to other places we've been. Thank you for everything!

I called this vet to get a rabies vaccine for my pet. The receptionist stated my appointment was at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20 and the receptionist stated I was late and said my appointment was at 9:00. I stated I was told 9:30 when I made the appt., she had no response and just shrugged. She said the vet could still do the vaccine but I would be charged a full office visit cost (instead of the promotional price). I can't comment on the vet himself, I never met him, but the receptionist was not friendly and unwilling to admit a mistake. I don't plan on using this vet again. Reply to owners response: I did not receive a call on the morning of the scheduled appointment.

Do not go to this veterinarian! He is extremely rude and condescending. I will share my experience from 6/28/19. He walked into the exam room with a serious pompous attitude and as I was attempting to answer the questions he was asking, he would rudely interrupt me and with a huff would restate the questions in a harsher and condescending tone as if I wasn’t answering to his satisfaction. He did this several times. The prices for this place far outweigh the quality of the services. The unprofessionalism of Dr. Van Horn is outstanding and his bedside manner despicable.

This is the best vet I have ever worked with for my pet's health. I recommend them to all my friends and the only vet I will take my animals to. I discovered them when I was having an emergency with a pregnant dog. I called several vets in town for help and these guys made me feel the most comfortable.

Do Not take your pets here. The doctor Van Horton should loose his license I took my cat in today hes very fussy when it comes to the vet visits when returning home I notice my cat in his back paws were bleeding. I called and the women in the front desk said that he might of done that to himself No way he did that to himself. Please Read this and Do not take your pets here if you really care about them.

Dont reccomend this place at all i took small breed dog into him to just get a rabbies shot and he ended up picking my dog up by his neck and slamming him down on a table right infront of me, my wife and my 7month old son And the tech thats was helping Yes i have an older Chihuahua that i have to muzzle because he likes to snip, BUT if your going to do that to my animal like that infront of me what does he do to ones that are behind closed doors??
