Millard West Veterinary Clinic Omaha, Nebraska

We've been with Millard Vet for several years now. We have typically seen Dr. Scott and he's so caring and kind toward the animals, they really love him. In August our beloved boy Gunner collapsed and was diagnosed with a mass on his spleen by an ER vet over a weekend. That Tuesday he went in for surgery to remove the spleen. I had extensive conversations with Dr. Matt on Monday, not only about the surgery, but I called him several times that day looking for reassurance that my boy would be ok. Dr. Matt was always honest with me, telling me potential outcomes that I didn't want to hear but always with kindness and patience. In my heart I knew that Tuesday would be be Gunner's last day, but I was hoping for a miracle. Sadly, Dr. Matt called me from surgery and let me know that my Gunner's cancer had spread well beyond his spleen. We could take him out of surgery and put him through life extending treatments, but the outcome would eventually be the same and it could be a long and painful ride for him. I made the decision not to wake him from surgery. I could hear the compassion and pain in Dr. Matt's voice when he told me, it was clear that it hurts him to know others are hurting. The outcome was not ideal. BUT, thanks to Dr. Matt's patience and understanding the day before, I was well equipped with all potential outcomes. I had a chance to digest everything and come up with a plan while my head was clear. Had I not fully understood the possible outcomes ahead of time, I don't know how I would have made that difficult decision in the moment. We now have a puppy who loves going to the vet and a cat who is indifferent (because cats). We will always remain loyal to Millard Vet. I have no doubt they will always have my pets' best interests in mind while treating me with care and respect. They are also VERY reasonably priced as far as vet care goes.

A bit frustrating to try to get service during covid pandemic when you require people to wait outside and call for service... and not have call waiting. Had to call 46 times until I could get someone on the phone to pick up a simple prescription. I appreciate the safety precautions... just need a little more technology.

I want to thank Dr. Matt and and all three of the Millard Vet clinics. We have been taking our four legged family members to them for years. Today we had to say good bye to one of them. Dr Matt was vary caring for not only us but our beloved Mylo.

Dr matt has been our vet for 2 decades. Compassionate, knowledgeable and receptive to your ideas on problems. Doesnt treat people like morons the way some vets do. This vet is also very affordable.

Set up appointment for a ve visit arrived 15 minutes early. After 50 minutes sitting in car called inside and was told they couldn't find my car parked right in front of their door! Needless to say, looking for a new vet. Staff was very rude.

We recently moved to the West Omaha area and looked for a new Vet, and picked the Millard West/Elkhorn South clinics. Our precious pup, Angel, was nearing the end (14) and when things got worse and we new it was time to say goodbye, I could not imagine picking a different Dr. then Dr. Matt. He stayed way later than he was suppose to, respected our privacy and time while we gave our final hugs and goodbyes, and when it was all over he gave my wife and myself a big hug. We had many visits in 3 months to them with Angel trying to help her, and he fiscally made sure we were taken care of as he knew we were just trying our best for our pup. Thank you Dr. Matt for everything.

Both of my dogs have been seeing Dr. Scott since we moved to Omaha. He and his entire staff are incredible! All true pet lovers and so kind to me and my dogs! Thank you guys for everything you’ve done to ensure my pets lives are as long and healthy as possible!

All I needed was a 15.00 flea med but I'm new to the area and they want you to bring your dog in before they will give it. Didn't really feel like a. Office call bill for a med my dog has taken for years. But they were nice on the phone and it looks clean

My vet's office, and I have several pets so I am there a few times per year. Super flexible and accommodating. You can tell the staff all have a good family culture with each other and the vets are super caring. Highly suggest!

This is a great option if you are looking for a Vet. They have always been really helpful and stayed responsive to our puppy questions when our dog was younger. I recommend giving them a shot. They have multiple locations.

I was only at this clinic twice unfortunately, but the Veterinarian recognized the changes in my dog after a quick glance. The staff is caring and amazing. If I ever have another pet, I will definitely be coming back.

Love this place. Been going to it for years for my cat. Dr. Matt Wright is wonderful. His staff is always friendly too.

So far so good, but wish they were more informing when my dogs are getting checked. Didn't receive much information.
