Everyone at AAH from front desk to doctors are all kind and helpful. I wouldn’t go any where else with my fur baby!

I’ve had a wonderful experience with American Animal Hospital. I greatly appreciate their staff.

make sure to ask for a copy of your pets medical records and make sure they are correct. THEY can write down anything they want even when it is not true. scheduled two different times to euthanize my granddaughters dog then said someone recorded he had bit someone on the 4th when NOONE told them that. she had called on the 4th to set up the appointment. told them he was aggressive but had NOT bitten anyone yet. they set the appointment for Saturday the 6. they wouldn't do it then because they said they had to call the humane society and couldn't do it till Monday. Got the second appointment for Monday and AGAIN they would not do it! When asked who told them he HAD bitten they would not say. so TWICE she said her good byes and was then sent home with the dog and told to come back 10 days later. Very inhuman to humans!! several family members take their animals here and this dog has gone since a puppy. before now we had been very satisfied nd recommended to others. They just need to get their facts straight and be more compassionate of the people involved in these heartbreaking situations.

The reception staff are very pleasant and the facility is one of the most impressive I've visited. Dr. Burr is thorough and explained options in a manner I could understand. She also provided information to allow me to research further at my leisure. I traveled from Lincoln and the location is easy to get to so I plan to make the trip the next time either of my pups need a visit!!

They want $600 -$1,000 to remove a skin tag on my dog. Seems excessive to me.

We love Doctor Natalie! Very attentive during visits and takes time to talk through/explain things.

Dr. Natalie Allen was so compassionate when caring for my dog, who has become old and fragile. She gave me all the information as to what was going on with her, why she’s feeling the way she does, and what I needed to do in my care for her in moving forward. I can tell that she loves her job, she’s very good at it, and she really cares about my beloved pet. I was so happy my dog was in such good hands, especially at her old age. I truly feel that my dog received the best care from her!

We brought our sweet tiny Chihuahua Lula in before hrs on a Saturday. A tech got to work and asked if it was emergency and we said yes, she couldnt breath. She grabbed her and immediately got her in an oxygenated cage. We sadly didnt get to bring our Lula home, but Dr. Kroeger was amazing. We had no idea the decision we would have to make that day but he gave us peace of mind. Our heartfelt thanks.

Everyone is so amazing with Lois! I couldn’t ask for better care! With Lois being diabetic and most recently breaking her leg, she has became a regular and everyone takes such great care of her!

My experiences with American Animal Hospital have been nothing short of incredible. I first came to them while looking for new vet in Omaha for a check up on a dog I adopted from Lincoln. They had great reviews so I decided to try them out and quickly found out for myself why. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable during my first visit for check ups and I didn't have to wait long at all to be booked or to be seen when I got inside. But where they really blew me away was today when I had an emergency issue resulting from a run in with NHS and a fabricated and exaggerated report of health issues for my cat that had been filed with animal control. They were able to squeeze me in for an appt the very next day for an exam at no cost to me and set all my concerns to rest and notify animal control that these health issues were not present and that my pet is in good health. I can't recommend this place highly enough, you couldn't pay me to switch vets!

The practice is always spotless clean, staff friendly and efficient, The animal technician was very attentive to all responses about Romeo’s current habits/issues (he has to be pre-dosed to a bad vaccination reaction a number of years ago) and asked if I had any objections to him drawing blood for his heart worm test while he was back there (I found very efficient) and Dr Knott is the best!!! In addition to her being a very knowledgeable and comforting vet for my dogs but she always inquires as to how I’m doing as well, knowing that the home environment has a great impact on pets too!!! I am so happy that I changed practices years ago!!!

Reasonable, honest and compassionate people. Great place to take your animal. Going through a difficult time trying to help a 4 year old dog right now and they've been great. My dog can be a little 'rude' at times, but they never mention it and always comment on the good in him.

Doctor's and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, demonstrate great care and love with my cat Phoebe. Her behavior last visit was anything but good...:(... thank you Dr. Knot and John for your patience with her. The BEST in Omaha in my opinion! A happy client for over 20 years! Thanks Team!

Appreciate the kindness and compassion you show toy pets and ferals. And u treat my ferals with compassion and respect as if they are pets, because to me they are my out door fur babies. They are treated w love, compassion and respect at home and they receive the same from ur clinic. Thanks

I adopted a dog and she is dog aggressive! These guys allowed her to go right away to the room so other ones are safe! She doesn't like men so they had a woman come in. Offered her peanut butter to make the shots go better and faster! They were all nice and incredible service!

Dr. Kroeger was wonderful with Harper and very thorough. We appreciate his candor and loving care.

I sincerely love American Animal Hospital. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are very nice. I always enjoy interacting with everyone that works there. Dr. Jesske typically takes care of my cats, and he is fantastic with them. They have had routine check ups and shots done, and one was spayed here and the other had a tooth extraction. They received and continue to receive excellent care. My cats are like my kids and I want the best for them, and any time I have questions both the doctors and staff are always there to help. It brings me great comfort to know that the care of my cats are in such great hands. They also treat me very kindly. Thanks for all you do, from the staff to the doctors, all of y'all are great.

Check in was fast and easy. My dog gets really excited when coming to visit your facility.

I can't imagine there being a better vetrinary clinic in Omaha.

From what I understand this place should be more accommodating than they were when I tried to confide in them regarding my dogs health. Was left on hold for more than 20 minutes multiple times.

The staff at American Animal Hospital is amazing. I was referred to them by the emergency vet. My aging cat had fallen ill very quickly. I brought her in knowing that I may have to make a very difficult decision. The staff was nothing but amazing. I lost a member of my family but gained a new vet's office. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So thankful and happy for amazing quality and care Zoey received. She had her teeth cleaned and it was the best they have ever looked! I love getting kisses from her once again (her breath no longer smells like butt). Lol. Also loved the print out I got after her procedure. She’s had her teeth cleaned before at other vets but this was the first time I had pictures which I loved seeing. Best teeth cleaning ever! Super happy!

My famly and I have no words to thanks this hospital, my little puppy who is 12 weeks old, was hit by a car, and had a head trauma, she was bleeding all over her nose and mouth, I had lost all the hope on her to be alive, but thanks God I brought her to this hospital! She is a chihuahua mix only 4 pounds, I’m really on shock because the vet “I don’t remember his name” safe her life! That was on Tuesday, March 9th, and 4 days later she is perfect, running around, and being a happy and lovely puppy! Trust them, they are the best❤️

My dog really loves the staff here!

To be honest I would give them five stars because they are good and we have used them for twelve years. That said my biggest complaint is that for twelve years of loyalty if you need just a quick rabies shot they want to charge an extra sixty dollars for an emergency fee which is stupid. Squeezing me in between two other patients is actually extra money for that day but apparently that isn't enough for them and that seems greedy.

All of the staff I’ve interacted with have been very caring and knowledgeable. They listen and they respect the animal’s owners. I also greatly appreciate the covid-19 safety protocols.

I explained my situation of my injured cat and IInstead of telling me that they were booked up til next week . the ladies at the front desk puts me on hold for 5 mins I called back and I explained they put me on hold for 5 mins and she goes I'm checking out a client. Puts me back on hold for another 3 more mins. Then a guy came on and told me they were booked up. Sorry about that . great service .
