Everything was good . But the way they introduce dogs is ridiculous they need to come up with a different system in order to re-home more dogs very disappointed

Even with a limited staff this facility was very professional, clean and welcoming. Their staff is very helpful and caring of their animals and showed their passion to find a great home for their furry friends! I would recommend giving them a look if you are going to add a member to your family!

Went to adopt a beautiful 2yr old male German shep. Ended up bringing him home and couldnt feel better about giving him his foreever home. He has some issues but nothing that bad that cant be fixed with some love and patience. Im so thankful I could make him my own.

Adopted Bobby from them back in April. Fell in Love with himAfter walking into Petco and seeing him there. Sadly they closed 4 minutes before my husband and I decided to adopted him. I called them the next morning set up an appointment and filled out the paperwork. They were all super happy (including the Petco staff) to see Bobby come home. Him and my 2 year old are best friends.

Appointment only is actually better because there isn't a lot of activity and the dogs aren't as stressed.

Wonderful staff. Answered every question and detailed knowledge about each pet's history, mannerisms, and traits (assuming the pet had been there longer than a few days). I felt very confident adopting our new cat from there and they offer services and advice if needed post adoption.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I went in knowing I wanted to adopt a cat that may be overlooked by other families (older cats, behavioral issues, etc). They introduced me to a gorgeous 11/12 (not clear for sure) little lady. Not only did they waive my adoption fee, saying we seemed like a great match, but they gave me two bags of cat food, some treats, as well as the BED she had used throughout her stay there. On top of all that, they really set me up for success by taking great care of her. They sent me off with a packet of medical information regarding the care she received while there. She'd had a surgery, been fostered through recovery, received necessary services and support. There were even little notes from the vet from each check up they did. I was expecting to adopt a senior animal in much worse shape. What I got was an animal who had been found, a stray, and she had gotten so much love and socialization and medical care that she has seamlessly transitioned into life as a perfectly healthy older house cat. Thank you so so much.

What started out as a horrible experience was quickly resolved and perfected by the staff and Director of Fundraising. They took care of my wife and kids and made things right.

This is in fact a kill shelter. They will do anything to say they're no kill..but I promise you, anyone who volunteered here, worked here, or knows anyone here.. knows how they truly are.

The place itself is beautiful, it appears to be very clean and well taken care of. The downside is they’re not very honest when asked questions about the animal. I am very sad because we really wanted to adopt this dog, but had to take it back. The place you have to take the dog back to it’s just a terrible terrible place. And I don’t mean the staff is terrible, Nancy was very helpful and very kind. Just the place itself it’s terrible, I just hope they do right with the dog because it is a beautiful dog. Honesty get you a long way dishonesty always comes back to haunt you.

Very clean. Nice facility and friendly staff. I just adopted a border collie named Stein. He's an amazing pup and now best friends. I can tell they took really good care of him before adopting him. Thank you CHS!

We went here because we wanted to adopt a cat as my 19 year old cat recently passed away. They had just opened on a Saturday and the man working at the front desk was so rude and condescending I'm astonished he wasn't working in IT support. He said snidely "if you are just here because you want to pet kitties we dont have the time or staff for that" and seemed exasperated that we were there
