Dr. Henning and staff are beyond AMAZING!!

I have been taking my dogs to Dr Henning for 20 years. I drive 20 miles passing numerous other veterinarian clinics because the service and care is quite good. In both emergency situation and routine visits Dr Henning and his staff have been professional friendly and extremely helpful.

Went to this vet for the first time today. Everyone is so kind and caring. They took great care of my dog.

Vet appt was very slow and the communication was poor. Told me my cat had bloody urine and put her on special food. Ended up giving us the wrong food than what they prescribed. After calling to speaking with the doc over 10 times I finally got a call back. They didn’t approve my prescription cat food for over 8 days and when I got the chart notes to switch veterinarians it shows her urine was yellow…. Not bloody red. Would not recommend

Doc Henning has been our family, country vet since 1990. He can perform miracles. He takes emergencies and always fulfills his end of the bargain. Honestly. He says it like it is. Runs diagnostics but starts with just looking at and examining each animal. He takes the time needed. No sugar coating here. But follow his instructions to the letter and trust in his care. Rest assured he and his staff are absolutely capable of taking on any challenge on most animals.

Dr. Henning is one of the best Veterinarian I have ever found. He is honest and up front about any needs for our pets. Nurses and desk staff are patient and understanding for any questions. Thank you all for everything.

This is a no BS Vet, he’s very straight forward. I appreciate his honesty and the care he provided my dogs. Also very responsive on the weekends!

Let me just say he’s been my family’s vet for years he’s very to the point and honest this is an important quality to me my last cat I had I took him to dr henning from birth to trauma to death and he was incredibly fair and honest and compassionate. 3 or 4 years before my cat died my cat was ran over he didn’t think his prognosis would be good he had a broken jaw lost his eye and to say the least he was rough but doc did everything and brought him back to health when my cat was towards the end he answered my call at 1030 11 cuz he was at the end stages of his life he seen me right when he opened and helped me say goodbye to him. He is a great vet even after I left Louisville I still make the trip cuz that kind of service and compassion is hard to find

He is one of the most confident, caring doctors my kitties have ever seen, most have only seen him in their lives. He and his expert staff knows what it is like to lose one of your babies or to get a new (to you) baby. His advice is always spot on. I know from working with Google reviews at the business I work for that you will never make everyone happy. If you want a vet that is genuinely concerned for your pets health then this is the vet for you. Dr Henning does not sugar coat anything and his only concern is your pets health. I have referred everyone that has asked me about a vet to Doc. My sister had bought a 6 week old Pomerania that broke his leg the same night they got him home. Doc came right in to help her, again keep in mind she was not one of his customers before this happened. Also I have had to call him after hours on 3 different occasions and he always calls me back, talks with me to see if I need to bring my pet in or if it can wait until the morning. This just goes to shows that he is not in this for the money.

Clean vets office with friendly staff that knows what they’re talking about. Vet is a little bit of a tough cookie, but I really like him.

Dr. Henning is a wonderful vet! He is a kind man who is a straight shooter. Most recently, I am grateful for his advice on house training our English Shepherd puppy. We were at our wits end and with one small addition to our training we have a house broken puppy! I HIGHLY recommend GAC if you are looking for a vet who very clearly loves animals and want services at a reasonable price.

It's always hard to move to a new city & find new doctor's for everyone. I was fortunate to find Dr. Henning & his wonderful staff. Our cat, Oreo, was always a sick little guy & he got worse after our move to NE. Dr. H was very thorough & took his time checking him out. He had a life threatening disease & it was his time to go over the rainbow bridge. It was so heartbreaking to say goodbye but the staff was wonderful to us. I've never trusted anyone else since with our other cat & our dogs. You can tell how much he cares about the animals & is always kind, soft spoken & patient with them. I'll never go anywhere but to him as long as we live in Ne!
