Pruyn has been our vet for our animals for over 30 years. They always are very caring with my animals.

Oh my I so enjoyed my time there with my cat pepper. And she didn't even have to get out of her carrier she got to have everything checked and they were so kind to her and considerate of her nervousness and I really enjoyed visiting with the veterinarian and the young girl thank you Diane Cooper

Dr. Conrad did a great job with taking proper care of my dog the last time he was seen. He went over different treatment options and proactively allowed me to schedule my pet’s recheck appointment. Great experience and great care! Dr. Prine recently saw all of my pets for dental procedures and annual blood work. She also saw two of my dogs for issues with their eyes. Not only was she thorough, but she did the research to help me prevent future issues with one of my dog’s reoccurring eye concerns. My pets love the quality of care they receive at Pruyn and we couldn’t be more thankful for their loving team! They also followed up with me to see how my pets were doing the next day! Great client service! ❤️

I’ve been taking my dogs to Pruyn for almost 20 years and they have been the best. My dog had to have a procedure after a dog bite recently and Dr. Teixeira was the absolute sweetest vet we’ve had. I would highly recommend taking your fur babies to Pruyn ♥️

I’ve tried several vet clinics here in Missoula and stopped at Pruyn. Best place for me and my fur babies. I can always count on them for all of my needs.

I have been taking my animals to Pruyn for 15 years + they are excellent and highly recommend them to anyone with furbabies!!

Instead of writing another sob story about how terrible this place is to provide laugh track fodder for whoever, I'll just ask my fellow peoples to check out the reviews that are already here. It's pretty funny that filtering for "most helpful" results in getting a bunch of 5 star one line reviews. Yea, the most helpful reviews are the negative ones, or if you feel that's unfair then the newest ones, which are about as bad. Don't make the mistake of transferring cash out of our community to this nasty entity. For us personally, we've concluded that after years and years of taking our hundreds of exotic animals here we'll be heading elsewhere. Actually we would take just one tiny exotic animal. Also keep in mind that the owner now appears to be a nasty corporation which likes cutting and pasting responses to negative reviews and being generally disgusting, so make sure you show the proper support for the people that have managed to totally disrespect and throw away the service that Pruyn has given this community for generations.

really had a long wait ,but we understood cuz,the lil pom needed attention more then us. Then asst. was wonderful! The vet not so much, I will use dr. schumberg instead, age wisdom! Still best place in town

Our doggy was going through a tough time, naturally making us emotional and sad. Everyone here was insincere to our emotions. The doctor was unwilling to communicate twice, she said she had already spoken to my fiancé so she doesn’t need to speak to me and all I did was ask for a debrief of what is going on with my pup and what their plan was. They offer no payment plan even if you owe thousands of dollars for one emergency visit. My fiancé was in the lobby the whole time yet the doctor preferred to talk over the phone??? They placed my pup in a holding kennel for hours while he cried when we were there to hold him or take him into our vehicle where he could’ve been comfortable. Thousands of dollars later, absolutely NO response as to what’s wrong with him.

I liked that the vets kept Kiyoko distracted with cheese spread. The visit went by smooth and my puppy left happy!

Nicole was very good with my new puppy. The first visit was very positive. I have used Pruyn for over 20 years.

I absolutely love this vet!! They’ve been nothing but helpful with Ryder and they have helped him out in more ways than I can explain. They’ve even taught me things that I didn’t know and that have helped not only him but myself as well. Highly recommend going here if you can.

Super happy!!! Our second experience with doctor Conrad was very very good, he was super sweet and the attention was amazing!!! I definitely recommend Pruyn Veterinary Hospital and for sure Doctor Conrad!!!! And the technician today was so sweet and kind (I don't remember her name but I just love her)

They were professional and courteous. I felt the cost was a bit high. But hard to compare as my dog is young and healthy so don’t go often.

Dr. Conrad did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Stella. I was so nervous about this dental extraction but I know she was in good hands!

My dogs all love going to Pruyn because everyone that works there gives them nothing but love, treats and head scratches. Every vet we have seen has also been extremely knowledgeable and personable. Wouldn’t take my pups anywhere else!

The reason I gave two stars is because they at least refunded a small portion of my bill. This is due to the fact that my dog was misdiagnosed and had to be taken to Emergency Hospital at 2am after being misdiagnosed at Pruyn. Seems to be people that care about animals but are unorganized and not thorough enough. I know the industry is dealing with understaffing issues and lots of clients, but I don't think this was a fair enough excuse for my experience. Long wait times are one thing, hasty diagnosis another. My beloved dog very likely could have died had I not taken him back in when I did. He is still hospitalized as I write this almost two days later and is fighting for his life. Not here to slam Pruyn, they were kind and at least had the decency to give me a small refund, but if I'm being honest I would not take an animal there again nor recommend anyone else does until it's been proven they have fixed some very real and concerning issues.

After having been a customer there for over 20 years, we have decided to find a new place to take our pets. This is not the first incident we’ve had. Just the icing on the cake. I had an appointment at 4 for a new puppy to get her shots. Checked in at 3:50. At 4:10 after having received no response, I called and was told someone would come out immediately. By 4:25, still no one. And by 4:30, still no one. I watched an employee take a smoke break, one take a Starbucks run, 4 take a leisurely stroll around the building. I also watched 4 other customers that came after me get helped. As I stated, this isn’t the first incident of being treated poorly. I understand falling behind schedule but to not respond, or say they were on their way and not come? Sad thing is when I called they next day to request copies of my pet records, the person who answered to phone said “I don’t blame you for leaving”. I got the copies of my pets records and in the notes for my new puppy from the debacle with the appointment yesterday they wrote “do not send a survey”. Apparently the only feedback they want is positive so they appear like they are a great place to go. I should have left years ago when after my dog passed away, I went to pick up her ashes from them and they gave them to me in a brown paper bag.

They have now killed two of my animals and so me and my family are now going through a hard time losing our family dog. DONT go to pruyn.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They treat my dog as if he were their own. I love that they call to check on him and are always so reassuring. I won't take my dog anywhere else.

Dr. Texiera and Tech Erika were both very professional and knowledgeable. They both were very attentive to my dog's needs and to my concerns regarding this visit. They explained every step of what was happening during the examination, and the possible after examination treatment options. I hope that when I return for a follow up visit, I am able to get these two again. They make a great team!

The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming! They were quick and efficient while also making sure I understood everything going on with my dogs procedure.
