Countryside Animal Clinic Kalispell, Montana

I used to recommend this vet to everyone for all their pets but I will never again go here or give them my business. The most recent issue had to do with an appointment for my cat. I told them my cat was having bladder issues and needed a mat shaved (he's getting old and not grooming as well and I missed a spot on his tummy while brushing I guess). When I arrived for my appointment the doctor said they didn't have time for "all that" and told me to bring him back the next day when they did have time. This was a scheduled appointment. I understand emergencies happen and those take priority, but they could have at least called and rescheduled. I am a severely disabled single mom and had to arrange this appointment to even get there. It's a 30 minute drive from my house. There is a reason I needed an appointment. I wouldn't even be writing this except a) they could have just kept him overnight if they had to and b) the doctor was rude and c) they offered no apology, explanation or solution. I know my pet is not their priority but he is mine and I'm not going to let things like this stop him from getting care.

Unsure of where we could take our Hedgehog Jake, Countryside took us in under somewhat of an emergency situation. With a full schedule of appointments the Veterinarian looked at Jake between appointments and after a full evaluation and without hesitation performed a surgery the same day. We are very thankful for Countryside Animal Clinic and their warm knowledgeable staff for accommodating us and Jake.

Over the past 20 years I have had seven dogs. I have trusted Doctor Rick and his staff with the veterinary health of all my dogs, and they have "never" let me down. Like all of us, I love my dogs and want to give them the best health care that I can. The Staff are all kind, warm, intelligent, and caring towards myself and my dogs. Sadly, I had to make the choice to let some of my dogs go to the Rainbow Bridge. As expected, it tore my heart apart, but Rick was there with me for the procedure and he was full of compassion for myself and my dog. I will always bring my dogs to Countryside Animal Clinic... They are simply the best.

My family was on vacation for a week to see Glacier National Park, when one of our dogs got terribly sick in the first few days. After a full night of her puking, we called in here to see if they might be able to see her. Surprisingly, they were willing to squeeze us into, what I’m sure was, their already busy schedule. The office staff and the doctor were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for seeing our little pup!

Best veterinarian in the valley

Quoted straight from the Vet for a simple neutering procedure. We were charged 174% over the quote and when questioned the Vet was completely dishonest. I would not recommend visiting if you value honest pricing and client care. It's a shame to see these business practices in the Flathead Valley.

My 2 year old pup had an allergic reaction to what was likely a bee sting. I called Countryside in a panic and spoke with Lamb who was about the sweetest little gal ever! She was so kind and understanding on the phone. She took all my information and the details of what was wrong, made me an appointment to get my dog in the next day, and consulted with one of the vets to give me peace of mind that this was not emergent and directed me to give some Benadryl (which worked like a charm!) Thank you, Lamb, for calming this dog mom down and being so kind!

Just started taking my animals there and both of them were very responsive to Dr. Carson she did shots and checkups on them was very pleased with how fast and efficient she was.

Worse Vet Clinic EVER!!!! Had to put my cat down, and while still cradling my dead cat, came and wanted the money now. No regards to our feelings or treating the animals with respect cause money is more important. Very disappointed.

Our Sasha had never been there before and they accepted her, immediately. Upon arrival, they opened their doors for not only her but us as well! They were warm and friendly! We left feeling comfortable leaving our little one with them for a few hours so they could evaluate her and her systems (had to wait for her empty bladder to get full). They stayed in communication with us and were very informative! And when we got our bill, it was actually half the cost we had expected it to be!! We haven’t stopped discussing the idea of switching her vet (not that there’s anything wrong with the one she has), but we feel this one went out of their way and truly made us feel like we were family! Thank you CSAC!!

Haven't been there in a while, but was organizing my animals’ health records and figured I would review. It’s always important to find a good fit for both you & your pets, and I’m happy to say that Countryside Animal Clinic is the best veterinarian clinic that I’ve ever had the pleasure to bring my animals to. I used to dread taking my animals to my previous veterinarian as I felt like they were constantly nitpicking and being judgmental, but I do not have that issue here. The staff are always very nice and friendly. They even remember my animals every time I bring them in, which is so awesome! Scheduling is never a problem, appointments are always punctually kept, and if I call with a question I am always able to get an answer within a reasonable amount of time. One of the last times that I was in there, one of the vet assistants even gave me some grooming advice for my wooly malamute, which was very much appreciated! Dr. Beach is an absolute pleasure, you can tell that she has a true passion for animals. She’s so happy to see my dogs and cat when I bring them in, you can tell that she really cares. She is always excellent at handling my more anxious dog, which I am endlessly grateful for; especially since properly socializing the dog in question with strangers hasn't been the most doable thing at the moment with the pandemic going on. Dr. Beach is both knowledgeable & thorough, she always takes the time to explain things. I also love that she is more up to date than most vets that I’ve seen on risk vs benefit with certain medications & procedures, and treats animals like individuals instead of trying to use a one size fits all approach. She really understands that care can vary from animal to animal, which is so important!

I have an appointment at 2:00 that's when the vet comes in.. I show up at my appointment 10 minutes early call the veterinarian and let them know I'm sitting in the parking lot with my two dogs.. at 2:00 another car pulls in and immediately someone comes out and grabs their dog and takes it in I'm waiting another 10 minutes and nothing my appointment was at 2:00 here it's almost 15 after I feel like my time and my dogs were not that important I am not coming back. And the fact that they took someone else before me who showed up after me was kind of like a slap in the face by them mind you the vets didn't open until 2:00.

Rick is a great vet with a great team that works for him. We appreciate him and his love for the animals

Best animal clinic! My parents brought our animals here when I was a kid and I now bring all my pets here. Great staff, great prices, and they are so helpful. Love this place so much! Wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!
