I had an appointment for my dog, Charlie, as he had been acting weird. The day before the appointment they called and said the doctor had gone home sick and would not be able to see Charlie that day so would I be able to come in another day. After explaining the situation to them, they were able to squeeze him in the morning of his original appointment to do some tests. It was amazing to hear that they understood my concern and were willing to do something about it. Very much appreciated and that is why I will be a customer as long as I own animals.

We have been going to Bridger vet for probably last 7 years and never had a problem til recently. Our 10 month old puppy was very sick thought her intestines were blocked. She wouldn’t eat or drink and was losing weight. We took her to Bridger Vet and they kept her overnight and put dye in her and said no blockage probably her intestines are inflamed. Long story short a few days later she was worse called Vet again at 1:00 am spoke with vet Steve. My husband told the Vet we need to bring her in now because she’s not going to make it through the night. The Vet Steve told my husband another 5 hours won’t make a difference bring her in at 7 am. She died in my husband’s arms at 5am. My husband left a message for Steve telling him what happened and still have not received a condolence call or a call back. We have 5 dogs now and will never go back. I truly believe if Keith still owed practice this would never have happened. Our family is still mourning the lose of our puppy. She was also my husband’s service dog. My husband is a veteran and has PTSD very bad.

We called the emergency line around 1am because our 10 month old working line german shepherd's condition had worsened and we feared she was dying. She needed immediate care. The vet, Steve's response was "5 hours isnt going to make a difference, bring her in at 7am." She died at 5am. We called to let them know she passed. No one even gave us a call back.

I can’t say enough thanks to Bridger Vet Clinic for all they’ve done for me! Dr. Stav saved the life of my beloved Border Collie as she struggled to deliver a litter of puppies. He was compassionate, knowledgeable, extremely professional, and again—he saved her life. I’ve brought numerous other pets and ranch animals to their clinic over the years, and I’ve never had anything short of a great experience. They’re pros—excellent service, kind-hearted people, and very competitively priced. 5 Stars, hands down.

Had been taking my boxer here for about 10 years where they always provided amazing service and took good care of her. We took her there for the last time to let her take her final rest and they did an amazing job. Very happy to have gone to them for a decade, and will always suggest owners in Helena to go to Bridger.

I took my dog there for a while and have never seen such awful vet care. -I had to call the emergency line after a surgery when I called with a concern cause the front staff wouldn't let me talk to a vet. -When I asked why my dog was being kept overnight (thought she might have gotten into some ibuprofen but blood tests said their was none in her system I was met with a defensive rude Dr. I asked what would happen if I brought her home because she is more comfortable here and she didn't have any ibuprofen in her blood work and got met with a "I'm not clairvoyant ma'am but if you want to save a few bucks by all means take her home" - They tried to bill me a second time for a bill (threatened to send me to collections) but when I said I had the carbon of the reciept saying paid suddenly it was all better -Talking with my friend about these experiences later and learned that they missed running blood work on her dog before surgery. If they had ran the blood work her levels would have shown she couldn't receive the medication given during surgery. It sped up her dogs problems and caused her dog to die early.

They saw my cat for an emergency even though he wasnt a patient when no other vet, including my own would. He was in really bad shape. The entire staff there is friendly and welcoming. They were personable and honest about the extent of my cat’s injuries and let me be there with him as he passed on. I used to be very loyal to Valley Vet but after the treatment I received with my cat I will never go anywhere besides Bridger again. Thank you Bridger for making my Pillow’s last few days of life more comfortable. Thank you for allowing me to be there. Thank you for EVERYTHING. My heart is hurting after losing him, but I find comfort knowing he was treated with love both before and after he passed the rainbow bridge. Your techs and staff are wonderful.

We have been customers for almost 30 years. Because we have not been in for awhile I can't bring my kitten in. I know if Steve saw our name he would agree that we are clients! My kitten needs to see a vet and no one is taking "new" people. C'mon guys, we were going to that clinic before Steve came there.

Won't take new clients which is fine but then they say there not supposed to recommend any other good vets, it's obviously about money for them and not about helping animals or they would direct me to a place that can help really selfish and unprofessional to let a dog be in pain just so you can keep your business

I have been trying to get shot records faxed to Hawaii for the animals. Hasn't happened. Great vets, but their filing system is a nightmare. How does a vet office lose records??????? It's 2021. Get a damn computer. You guys can't be that cheap. Their negligence is costing me thousands here. It's very difficult to swallow. Each time I call I have never been rude, but their negligence is VERY rude and costly.

The receptionist with the southern accent is horrible! Rude! UNPROFESSIONAL! She must be a family member. This place is getting too big for their britches. Go elsewhere.
