Nothing but the best from the good folks at the Animal Center, from the techs to the docs...they are nothing but awesome.

I love this place after many disappointing vet experiences here in Helena. I made the best decision to make a change to Animal center. I finally have found a place I can trust and feel a sense of peace when taking my animals here. They deliver great communication and absolutely put the pets and owners best interest at heart. I hands down recommend them!

I really like the Animal Center Veterinary Hospital. I was having problems with the Veterinarian I was seeing in Helena but was scared to try to find another one because I had heard that other people had had problems. I knew some of them were very expensive and also heard that some of them weren't very trustworthy. All of this was heresay so I didn't know for sure. I took a chance on Animal Center and was able to get my cat in. It turned out that he had cancer and had to eventually be put down. Dr G. and Rae(sp) were so kind and really helped me through it. I am really grateful and feel very comfortable taking my other cat to them even though I still can't go into the clinic with him. I trust them completely and I can't say that about the old clinic I was going to.

Twice they've offered to get my cat in sooner than their next available appointment without me even asking for that. And when they've done that they've been able to get him in the day after I called. Much better than waiting a month for an appointment, which is all that the other clinic I called offered. I do wish that for your first appointment they would allow you to sit with your pet despite their COVID protocols. It's tough not being able to get a feel for how they're treating your pet the very first time. After that, I would be fine continuing with curbside service. This is a knitpicky thing, but the name of the clinic is kind of generic and I always forget what it's called. I usually google vet clinics and then look at the map to make sure I'm calling the right one.

I would highly not recommend ACL surgery for your dog here.. used to long off screws that came out the other side of leg bone wanted me to pay for the removal of the screw and plate

Over the past ten years, the Animal Center has provided quality care for our two dogs and one goose! When our 15-year-old pup had to be put to sleep, our concerns were listened to and their compassion was incredible. Our current dog actually loves going into the Center! The vets and techs are knowledgeable, communicate clearly, are upbeat and friendly and truly love animals. Our pets receive the best care in a professional environment.

Dr. Mandy and her team went above and beyond caring for my Philip, he sadly passed away after every attempt to save him was made but I can only imagine the weight that our veterinarian clinics carry when the hope to save your pet is strong but nature way is stronger. Dr. Mandy our family thanks you for keeping us up to date every morning and evening and being there for our kitty in his critical condition.

They take good care of my two kids!

My mother goes to this veterinarian. And Mandy who works there is amazing! She takes very good care of my mother's animals. But, the owners have missed diagnosed my mother's dogs but not once but twice so, if you go there ask for Mandy. Other than that the staff at the front desk is great especially Kelly.

They were prompt and discussed all aspects of my kitty's health before proceeding.

Called to get emergency veterinary care and they turned us away and wouldn’t even bother to help. We are on Vacation and since our dog has “preexisting medical conditions” they told us that we just need to go to our original vet. Just based on that, I would never go here.

Good: + I like my Vet and her primary Vet Tech. Both are very personable and the Vet tries to be thorough and helpful. I appreciate her approach & professionalism. Bad: - Ridiculously small and unfenced elimination area immediately adjacent to a busy boulevard - Inadequate parking area, especially for large vehicles - They just don't need a completely automated phone system where they essentially NEVER answer the phone. It's always a call back deal. - Their computer system won't allow them to create a recurring monthly injection appt for my dog. Really? You can't find another way to do this in an essentially smallish town Veterinary business? -They still don't allow humans to accompany pets into the building. *Ok, COVID concerns, I get it. But I'm double vaccinated and boostered (with the card to prove it), and would willingly wear a mask as well.

They are always friendly and helpful! They get my pets in fast when needed and have always taken really good care of them! They truly care about the animals they take care of and that is important because my fur babies are my family!! Thank you Animal Center for all you do, you are amazing people!!! ❤❤❤

Dr. Mandy is the best with out dogs and cat.

They aren't taking new customers. Don't waste your time.

All the vets there are communicative, professional and reasonable.

Wonderful! They have gone above and beyond and expectations. Maria worked with us to get our pet health certificates and was super helpful.

We have been to the Animal Center twice for our pet rabbit. Ed Newman is knowledgeable about rabbits and took the time to assess and evaluate our rabbit. You can tell the veterinarians, technicians, and front desk staff truly care about the health of your pet. The price of treatment is fair, and they were able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. We are very happy with the care at Animal Center!

You can't go inside you have to wait outside

Our family has been taking our dogs to Animal Center for over 30 years...that's in people years! In dog years, it would be 210... :)

We moved to Helena in Dsc. they have been wonderful. Compassionate when we had to put our old cat to sleep. Get us in when there is an emergency. Staff is wonderful

I don't like not being able to talk to the doctor face to face.

Always accommodating especially with skittish pets.

I'm from out of town traveling with my dogs in our RV. One of my dogs was bitten by a friend's dog. Unfortunately his ear required surgery. This vet that I have never been to took us in right away , evaluated him and with my permission performed the necessary clean up and surgery required. All within a couple hours and very reasonably priced. Max is doing great and I can't thank them enough for their compassionate and professional care. Highly recommend them , my experience was phenomenal. W. Cox
