Very nice and clean place to take your pets. The doctors and staff are amazing. I have brought my cat Jupiter in with vomiting and no appetite and within 24 hours they had him fixed up and ready to go home. Just recently my puppy Ella …

Crooks for sure, I owed a bill years ago and they have taken my state check ever year except last year because it was paid off, now taking out of my account and the bill is still over $1,000 over what my bill was anyways,it's been paid over and again now, crooks for sure ,getting the records from the state and definitely not taking this. U didn't answer taking money out my state checks for years,it's been paid over and over again and ur saying it has never been paid, ur ripping people off and isn't it illegal for u to disclose other people's specific details on their animals and services u have done?

Disappointed in recent care. Either messages are not getting to the Doctors or the doctors are dropping the ball.

My dog had a sinus infection. We were provided 6 days of antibiotics and a antihistamine. After 6 days, and my dog not eating, his nose was still producing green. Asked for more antibiotics, they said no. Told them that he wasn't eating, they said they were not worried about that, just make sure he's drinking. My dogs breathing got worse. My husband took him in Thursday, April 15. He spent 6 hours there. They gave him a shot of antibiotics, a shot of antihistamine, and a shot of pain/anti-inflammatories . Six hours! They released to my husband. When my dog came home, he was wobbly and did not seem right. However, we put our faith in the vet. I was up every two hours that night with him, he was very restless. Breathing was still labored. He would drink water but then he threw up a bunch of mucous and that was it for him. He would not drink anymore. In the morning, Friday, April 16, he just laid there on our couch. Breathing was labored, but knowing what he went through at the vets the day before, we thought that the medication would start to make him feel better. After all, the vet knows, right? I worked just a few hours that day as a mother knows when something is wrong. I came home to find my precious dog passed away. So much of this whole thing is wrong! However, he is now breathing better, seeing better, and running and jumping. It just sucks for us humans! I'm very disappointed in Alpine.

Money hungry with zero regards for the animals well being. I will use animal center from now on. Very disappointed as this has happened twice.

I had to take my kitty to their clinic in an emergency situation and unfortunately I had to let her go.. I truly felt like they understood what I was going through as if it was there own pet they were having to say goodbye to, they did not pressure me in anyway to make a decision and did everything possible to make her and myself comfortable during such a difficult time.. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this vet clinic they were extremely compassionate and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye, I want to thank the on call vet at the time as she was amazing and the staff who helped me through saying goodbye to my best friend of 15 years, I received the card you sent it brought tears to my eyes and means more then you know.

Thank you so much for the care you extended to my Bailey and myself. I’m sorry you only got to see the last few years of his life. Thank you for everything.

My dog needed surgery and they said they would do payments because I didn’t have the cash in full. So they gave my dog surgery and then after the surgery they said they don’t take payments and threatened to take my dog from me and throw her in the pound so I couldn’t get her back unless I payed almost $2,500. I have done business with them for more then 5 years and I will no longer do so now. It’s not the first time they did something like this and probably won’t be the last.

I can't believe this quality of animal clinic is in Helena. Dr. Davis helped our dog through physical therapy after he had TPLO surgery, as well as numerous other emergencies that have come up (we're a frequent flyer). Dr. Michalski and Dr. Hogue have also been wonderful to work with. The staff is personable and caring, and I know the doctors here are giving our furbaby the best care. Alpine has a wide variety of services, they're very responsive, and have some of the best surgery options in Helena.

The care Lenny received after extreme injuries could not have been any better. They have an AMAZING staff that really love and care about their patients.

I give 5 stars to my favorite, Dr. Davis. But Dr. Hogue, Dr. Merry, Dr. Henry and Dr. Serrano are also very good and truly love their patients. These vets work hard and steadfast and go out of their way for the animals they treat. I give the "kennel manager" and the "vet tech manager" 1 star, if that. A lot of disgruntled employees that don't speak up because of fear of retaliation.

I rarely give low ratings, and only try to do so when I have given considerable thought into the service and experience. I brought my pug into this clinic because he had displayed a complete mood change from being an energetic dog to extreme lethargy, withdrawing into my closet, and difficulty walking over night. On the second day of this I discovered blood in his urine. I was frantic and purchased an Uber and went to this facility because I felt this was an emergency. I arrived and knew that having never been seen at this facility I would need to fill out paperwork of some sort. After answering questions I was told that my pug couldn't be seen until the following day at urgent care because there was nothing available. I agreed an arranged the appointment. I was stuck there because I had no vehicle and couldn't get an Uber. Thankfully a local friend came to get me. This happened early in the morning and his symptoms got progressively worse as the day wore on to him being unable to walk completely because of the pain. I called another clinic just up the street and got seen in two hours. After an exam, blood work, urinalysis I was told he had a bladder infection and there was a good possibility of testicular cancer. And I scheduled a neutering surgery the following day. I'm glad that I followed up and got this taken care of because he did in fact have a mass growth tumor on his testes that was malignant. If I had waited to get seen at this clinic it could have gotten much worse because of the sudden acute nature of his symptoms. I get that clinics get busy but when I present to you with acute symptoms such as these I'd appreciate some sense of urgency in your staff.

Hi, my name is Lucky. Got this name 14 years ago when I was rescued from a freeway ramp. Weighed less than a pound then. So I was lucky my family found me. Recently my kidneys failed and I got really sick. I thought I was a goner but Dr. Wampler saved me by implanting a cool port so my family can easily give me fluids each day. It's a snap for them and me. Now Doc says I have years to live till I join the other Bell cats and dogs in pet heaven. Glad my folks use Alpine Animal Clinic. Still Lucky after all these years!

We have been clients of Alpine Animal Clinic for almost 10 years . The staff is always caring and very professional with our dogs. We have had to let 2 of our fur babies go over the rainbow bridge and you know how difficult that is for everyone! Dr. Heidi and Dr. Cathy were so supportive and of course we all were crying together dying that process . We also use Alpines boarding facilities- when we have to leave town and can’t take the babies Alpine is the ONLY place I will trust to care for our fur babies ! They get fed, have exercise sessions and receive lots of belly rubs and love from all of this dedicated staff . My husband and myself always recommend Alpine Animal Clinic for the best pet care in Helena ! Dorothy & Gordy Harthorn and Alice our 12 year old puppy ????

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our beautiful baby girl ???? today. Though we are broken hearted, we know she isn't in pain anymore. She went in on Saturday for emergency surgery because she developed pyometra and unfortunately her infection was just too much for her body to handle. We got the dreaded phone call this morning that she probably wasn't going to be able to make it. We rushed to her side but unfortunately by the time we arrived her kidneys had already shut down. She fought hard with all she had left in her until the end. The staff at Alpine gave us time and space to love on her and say goodbye until her heart took it's last beat. We want to thank the staff at Alpine for all of their efforts to save our girls life. We had hoped to have many more years with her but unfortunately we will be bringing her ashes home instead. The staff is very professional, understanding and so loving and even though this wasn't the outcome we'd hoped for, we are grateful to them for their efforts. We will forever bring our other dog we still have at home and if we ever get another dog they will be Alpines patients as well. Thank you

Our girl, Maddie, was on the brink of death on Saturday. She developed pyometra and needed emergency surgery. We were distraught and unsure what we were going to do because we didn't have the 2000 dollars needed to get her taken care of immediately. However, the staff here worked with us to make a plan and a way for us to pay the cost. I am proud to say our girl is on her road to recovery because of the fast response and generous hearts of the staff at Alpine. We will be bringing her home today. I will never take our animals to a different vet because of the outstanding service we received here. They are amazing and we are forever grateful to them for allowing us to get the chance to spend more years with our fur baby, Thank you to Dr. Cathy Davis, DVM, CCRT, CVSMT for saving our baby. I wish I knew the techs name so I could thank her personally as well..You all are amazing there and we will be forever clients because of this. AMAZING sincerely, Scott and Christina Wilson

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We had lost our dog over the weekend but the girls over at Alpine saw my post online and when the couple who found him brought him into Alpine, they checked Khane out, made sure he was ok and called me. Words cannot express how relieved I am to not only have my best friend back, but also know that he was in such great care. Thank you thank you AAC!

I enjoyed my experience with this clinic. They quickly found the cause of my dogs stomach problem and gave him meds to help. They assured me he was okay and even called a few days later to check in with us. Highly recommend

They charged me an exam fee of 88$ to tell me my dog needed stitches.. You could obviously tell the poor thing needed stitches! They didn’t even try to stop the bleeding or put a bandage on it. We took my poor dog to another facility and they got him right in and stitched up for wayyyyy less than this place. What a horrible experience!

The vet we've had for almost 2 decades recently sold her practice so we were in-between veterinarians as we didn't get a good feeling from the new owner of the practice. My 18 year old cow dog had an emergency, right before the 4th of July …

We take our dog to alpine and see Dr. Merry. Our dog Monte is one of the most important things in our life, he is a member of our family and means the world to our kids. I wouldn’t trust him to anyone else. Dr. Merry is so kind and patient. The staff is positive and helpful...I would recommend them to anyone. I find their prices reasonable and never feel pressured into anything...thank you alpine for taking care of our special boy!

My family has taken our dog to Alpine since she was a puppy to the very end. I've never met a more compassionate set of veterinarians. I love that they get on the floor with the dogs during exams, and take the time to explain everything while they take care of your pup. We've already brought our new pup a few times, and have been treated with the same compassion.

I had an overnight trip to Helena and didn't know what to do with my puppy for the night. I discovered Alpine and decided to take a chance. Not only were they very affordable, they took great care of my pup! He was in great spirits when I picked him up!. The staff was friendly and caring! Side note: when I was leaving an elder woman had just had to put her animal down (I'm not sure if it was a dog or cat) I watched the staff with her, they hugged her and sat with her very caring and patiently. :)

Easy, affordable and comfortable. We had our Havanese there for one day of day-care. Check in was easy...the usual forms and, of course, we showed them our vaccination paperwork as we're from out of town. The price for a day was about half what we've found around the country. Very nice service and gentle, caring staff.

We recently celebrated the one year mark of NOT having our beloved dog euthanized at Alpine Animal Clinic and I feel compelled to write this review. I am writing it so that others will think twice when faced with an extremely difficult decision such as euthanasia. We took our dog to her regular vet at Alpine because she was very sick and the “diagnosis” (based on an ultrasound) was not good. We took her home and thought long and hard about what to do and decided that we would get a second opinion regarding her “diagnosis”. The second vet did an exam which also included an ultrasound and did not see the things on the ultrasound that the staff at Alpine saw. We were elated to say the least. Our dog is happier and healthier than she has ever been and we shudder to think how different things would be right now if we had listened to the vet at Alpine. If this review helps others to see the value of a second opinion, and if it saves just one pet’s life, then writing it was worth it. In response to Alpine’s comment: we chose to go with the ultrasound at your clinic as a first diagnostic tool, and one that was the least stressful for Joy, as a place to start. We then chose not to do further testing based on the vet’s report to us and her draconian diagnosis after the ultrasound was read and at that point decided to get another opinion. The vet we took Joy to for a second opinion did another ultrasound and some blood work so we’re not really sure what “recommended diagnostic studies” you are referring to. **It is now August of 2019 and we are happy to say that our beloved furry friend, Joy, is just as happy and healthy as ever!

We take our animals here. I like that they have boarding facilities in addition to the veterinary care. The care our puppy received while recovering from a broken leg was top notch.

There is nothing particularly wrong with this vet clinic, it is clean, friendly enough, and fast to get in... However, I didn't really feel like the level of care and attention was that great. Brought my dog in with a wound to find out it …
