Dr. Peterson has been there for my family for years. Once we couldn’t afford to hospitalize our kitty when she was so sick and they worked with us, we paid for as much as we could and they saved her life anyway. I cannot tell you how much that meant. Now we have our sweet Kitty back and healthy. We take the dogs as well and one of my dogs needed stitches and they were right there on the weekend sticking my pup up. I will never go to another Vet. The whole staff is amazing and they truly love our animals. Thanks for all you do guys!!! Your hard work shows and our house loves you. Sammie, Stevie Nicks, Kai Dunnington and soon to be Zoe.

Was happy with the service till I got my cat back and all her nails were clipped. Thats something that should have been mentioned was gunna happen. Some owners dont like their pets nails clipped for numerous reasons. So for that reason alone I will not be going back again.

I moved here 3 years ago with some really Senior dogs. Two River's cared for all my old dogs needs until they passed away. They have been very reasonable in cost especially with my 4-legged, furry family.

I went with a friend to put down her pet. Afterwards the vet did an exam that confirmed his diagnosis. Based on what he told us, the dog had a very large inoperable tumor. My friend felt better about her decision as she fretted over whether she did the right thing.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Petersen at Two Rivers. Do not go there. It is a long story, but in short, I inherited my mom's 12 year old dog and took him in for a check up. Dr Petersen told me he had a heart murmur with only 1-3 months to live and to bring him back in January and he would put him down. I was devastated. Her dog became ill in early January so I thought "this is it" and took him in. Dr Petersen said "If you get the flu do you get out a gun and put it to your head?" "Death is permanent". He then wanted to run a bunch of diagnostics as to why the dog was ill. I declined the diagnostics and left in tears. HE told me to bring him in. I did not want to put him down! I called later to schedule my other dog and they told me I am no longer able to do any pet care there. I was shocked! Embarrassed! They totally judged me - and are out of line. Dr Petersen was heartless and rude. My mom's dog passed away last night from congestive heart failure with the kind support from Big Sky Animal Medical Center. GO THERE! NOTE: - 1. I DID NOT ask for my mom's dog to be euthanized. Dr Petersen told me this would happen. When my mom's dog became ill, I thought it was "time" even though it was devastating. 2. The office told me over the phone that I can no longer go there - when I asked why I was told "that is above my job title." I asked her who could tell me. She told me her manager. She then told me her manager was "busy" and would be all day. I called 3 times to find out why. I literally had no idea and was just completely broken-hearted. 3. Agreed that any clinic has the right to not serve everyone - agreed. They should though, explain WHY to the client (rather than just not take the calls) or at least attempt to clear up any misunderstandings. 4. This has been a sad and heart breaking experience. My mom suddenly passed away December 1 from a heart condition. I found out a week later her dog had the same thing - he was 12 years old. SUPPORT, patience and understanding should have been number one for this vet clinic. IT WAS NOT. In the end, my mom's dog lived almost exactly 4 months after the initial diagnosis. I did everything I could do keep him happy during this time. I was with him during his final moments and we were at Big Sky Animal Center - it was calm, gentle, peaceful. 5. Again, when choosing pet care in Great Falls, Two Rivers Pet Hospital is NOT the place to go.

Two Rivers Vet provides great dental service including root canals and dental overlays for tooth fractures. It is nice to have this expertise in Great Falls, Mt and not have to travel to another state.

Very disappointed in the Doctor here. The staff was nothing but kind but the Doctor was extremely condescending and unprofessional. I got my dog spayed here and she unfortunately opened her stitches up two days later. My parents were taking care of her and called the Doctor. The Doctor got mad at my mom for letting my dog open her stitches up and told her to put a bandage on it and he would deal with it Monday. My dogs intestines were hanging out, she has to go into emergency surgery at Big Sky Vet ( they did an amazing job). They explained my dog would not have made it through the night. I would not advise anyone to go here with this Doctor working.
