The professionals at K-Heart are the most amazing, caring, compassionate, and helpful people in the vet business. We love them. I would also like to add a shout out to the cleanliness that you can see and feel. I would bet if I ate off of their floor I would not only be fine I would probably receive some sort of superpowers from the awesome that eminates from every nook and cranny of that place. Reals are kept there for sure

My pups love Kelly. She's amazing with them. She's answers my questions and doesn't make me feel silly for asking them. They are quick with their visits so I am always in and out.

There can be long waiting. The receptionist appears to double as an assistant to the veterinarian. I had them to come out to see my horse for dental work. The process was thorough. My horse chews better than I expected.

Dr. Manzer compassionately helped me with a difficult situation when one of my pets died years ago. Since then I have been taking my two shelter cats to her for checkups and shots each year. She and her staff are kind, caring, and helpful. I would not think of going anywhere else!

KHeart provided fast and efficient service when getting both my cat and dog vaccinated. As a first time pet owner it is reassuring that the staff really cares about your animals and their wellbeing. Great prices for the quality offered.

When I brought my 9 year old Cocker Spaniel "Coco" to K-Heart vet, I explained that recently a fox had been in our yard killing chickens. That fox was covered in mange. So, when Coco began scratching, losing hair, and developing dark crusty spots by her ear, I suspected she had caught mange from the fox. Dr. Manzer evaluated my dog and didn't think it was mange. She did a skin scrape from one spot on Coco's ear, but explained that there were other possibilities for Coco's symptoms and because Coco is geriatric, Dr. Manzer wanted to do blood work to rule out other issues. When the results were in from Coco's blood work, Dr. Manzer called me in the evening after studying, what she said was a very difficult case. There was indication that something was wrong with Coco's kidneys, but Dr. Manzer couldn't identify anything specific. She recommended changing her diet, suggesting that Coco might be allergic to what we had been feeding her. My heart broke, thinking that Coco had some strange health problem. What I assumed was mange, Dr. Manzer suggested was far worse. She told me to call back if I wanted to give Coco medication which would ease the itching. We let Coco back in the house, now that we weren't afraid to touch her. We changed her diet and started treating her like the old dog she suddenly appeared to be. But, as her symptoms worsened, she began losing hair in remarkable quantities. She had no appetite and was losing weight. I started reading about kidney problems and diseases associated with dogs, but nothing made sense. A couple weeks later, we decided to get a second opinion and brought Coco to Best Friends Animal Hospital, where they did multiple skin scrapes only to discover Sarcoptic Mange. However, because of the excessive scratching, Coco now had a secondary skin infection too. What was worse, they explained Sarcoptic Mange is transmittable to humans and because I am 8 months pregnant and have other small children, they recommended discussing it with our doctors. Plus, our entire house needed to be sterilized. Best Friends Animal Hospital explained that the Sarcoptic Mange Mite is often difficult to find. Which is why Dr. Manzer didn't discover it with only one scraping. However, Best Friends said that when a dog has all the symptoms of mange, even if they don't find the mite, which has a very low percentage rate of being discovered, since it is deep in the skin, they treat the dog for mange based on the symptoms. It was shortly after visiting Best Friends, that my family began developing bumps and itching everywhere. We are all suffering because of the ineptitude of Dr. Manzer. She spent plenty of time reading about the oddities in Coco's blood work, looking for a needle in a hay stack, while ignoring the obvious. I trusted her. Certainly, I don't think she was malevolent. She obviously really didn't know what was wrong with my dog. She probably won't know what is wrong with yours either. Even if you tell her.

I think Dr. Manzer needs to get her nose out of the air. Death in the family moving to Georgia have tried for 8mo to find my 2 horses a good loving home even tried rescues and nothing. Old horses mind you now nobody wants an old horse. Out of options so I needed a vet to help me put them down she refused to like she was doing some good deed. We have had these horses their whole life and have run out of options. I would rather put an old horse down then run even further into a brick wall and have them starving or neglected or abused. Girl who answered the phone was just as pompous as Manzer. Like I was evil. Would not recommend this vet even if you had an injured field mouse you wanted looked at.

Traveled 3+ hours with a trailer to help take a horse in for castration, and the vet cancelled the appointment at the last minute due to the weather. Since when does a little rain stop anything in Montana? Thank God there are other vets... this one is truly a "fair weather" caregiver. Associated Veterinary Services is a good recommendation... K-Heart is unreliable.
