Westinn Kennels - Everything Under One Woof Wentzville, Missouri

The staff was very nice and helpful. Everyone was professional, the building was clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Westin Kennels in Wentzville did a fantastic job boarding my dog over Christmas. It was not easy because she was a feral pup and is very timid to new people, spaces or other dogs. They were so sweet and patient with her. She opened up to the staff during her stay and they were very communicative with us even over the holidays.

This place is amazing! People are great and are really good with dogs. We did training and I definitely recommend Ashton! She was so helpful and patient!

Great overnight boarding faculty! We have used them a few times they are always so helpful on the phone and in person answering questions and helping everything run smoothly. They have a great online data base easy to use and very helpful. Their prices are good and they offer many different add ONS to help your dog with overnight boarding from older dogs like ours to younger dogs that need lots of attention. Great place nightly recommend.

I went to Westinn Kennels to train our dog. The trainer's were great, but they operate like independent contractor's that use the Westin Kennel facilities. That said, as a boarding business, I would suggest finding another place. I'm posting this as a public service announcement. Two dogs have died as a result of boarding at this location. One was a young golden retriever. In both instances, the dogs died due to neglect. Consider yourself warned if you're planning on boarding your dogs here. I should note too that they're horrible about returning emails regarding training. I get emails from them often, providing information about their classes they have available, but "EVERY" time I reply asking for more details, my emails go unanswered. I've given up trying to get a hold of anyone there and have decided to take my training needs elsewhere.

My dog seems to have a good time there. I have never had a problem there so far and we have used fo the last 10 years

Awesome place! This is a great facility for everything dogs! The owner is super awesome and all the staff are so nice and you can tell the truly love animals.

I was really looking forward to working with you guys for possibly training my new puppy. I emailed Ashton in May about setting up an appointment and they replied with their recommendation and said I should book soon, because June was booking up. I replied with my availability and never got a response. I followed up a week later asking if I could still book an appointment and again still no reply months later. Super frustrating.

Great trainer place but was a little disappointed when my trainer was out for a personal issue and no one called me so I made a trip out and she was not there. Still waiting on the reschedule date for training.

RIP George. I read the owners policy on what to do if a dog/animal gets sick, you wait six hours after first sign if symptoms and then if no improvement call the owner? I would be VERY UPSET if my dog was sick and someone waited 6 hrs!!!!!! Be careful who/where you leave your pets with. Again, RIP George.

Was involved in a dog show there. Venue was well kept and cooled wellfor the animals. Very clean.

My boy Bo passed away earlier this month but he went to Westinn for 13 years. He was always very excited when I turned on the street to Westinn. I feel that he was very well cared for even when he got older. When I get my next dog I certainly will be a repeat customer even with the bad press. Judy Wenzlick Bo’s Mom

Our dogs were diagnosed with Kennel Cough after boarding

I have been taking my Maltese Charlie to WestInn Kennels for four years for training, grooming and boarding. He has been boarded for 10 days several times and always came home healthy and happy. He loves to go to daycare there and gets so excited when we walk in the door. I have had nothing but a good experience with their staff.

AWESOME folks here at Westinn in Wentzville. They treat every dog as their favorite and every customer as the only one that matters! Update to my review: We have been using Westinn Kennels for better than 7 years. The fine folks there have always treated us with respect and have taken the utmost care of our dog. The staff is first-rate, well trained, very friendly, and respectful, and we have never had any issues whatsoever. The facilities are clean and our dog looks forward to visiting with Westinn every time we take him. We often bring him in for daycare - sometimes multiple times per week. And we always board him there whenever we are out of town. Westinn Kennels was recommended to us by our Vet, friends who board their pets there, and former employees. As dog owners our entire lives, we would not be bringing our dog to Westinn if we weren't 100 percent satisfied with the care and treatment of our dog. He is happy to go there, and happy when we pick him up. We absolutely recommend Westinn Kennels when you need to board your dog.

I’ve been going to this facility for about a year as an observer, just recently having joined in their training classes and absolutely love this facility! Couldn’t ask for a better place to train and work with experienced trainers!

I've driven over 9 hours at least twice a year for several years now to visit this facility. The staff is wonderfully knowledgeable, takes great pride in being up-to-date with both the latest products and behavior science, and it's obvious that the owner supports the staff's personal and professional goals. As a dog pro myself, I'm fairly hard to please where it comes to the care and keeping of my animals. There are a lot of boxes I want checked, and Westinn does a fantastic job of doing just that for me. This is the only boarding facility I have boarded my dogs at in the last 6 years. In fact, this is the only facility my youngest dog has ever boarded at because this is the only facility I felt confident I could trust with his first experience. We love to shop here, love to train here, and board here with confidence. If anyone is looking for boarding, training, or daycare, look no further than Westinn Kennels! The staff make or break facilities like this and the staff here is unbeatable; I know they care for my dogs just as I would.

We have had wonderful experiences with training and grooming at the Wentzville location. Employees are professional and patient. They truly care about your dog and the services they provide. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Used this place several times with no issue. Dog was there three days this time around and became sick with Kennel Cough. I guess it can happen anywhere.
