Got the dog food I was looking for

I’m trying to be as understanding as I can, but staff was just plain rude. The evening of January 5, 2022, the store closed at 5 instead of 9 like the site said. I came in at 4:50 so the doors were not locked yet. I didn’t know until an employee approached me and kindly said they were closed but we could still look around. This employee deserves a good rating. But the older lady that was working I guess was her manger or just worked longer or something. When I asked the older lady if it was possible for me to still get my fish, she snapped at me saying they’re closed. I said I understood if it was too much of a hassle and happily was preparing myself to leave. That’s when the younger worker approached the older lady saying there was a lady standing outside asking if she could just come in and grab cat food. This customer in question clearly had a broken foot and was on crutches - and was left to stand outside in 19 °F while the younger worker pleaded with the older worker to please let her get her food. I don’t know what came of that but as someone who also works with the public, you don’t treat people like that. If was not the customers fault for coming right at “close” when the store was supposed to remain open for another few hours. Maybe it was a rough day, but be more understanding for peoples situations.

Groomer that was scheduled did not look at our dog. Kayla , apparently took it upon herself to say our dog was to matted to wash . That he needed to be shaved ! I find it amazing that I know for a fact that he had some matting the last time we had an appointment. They did not have to shave him . I’m sure they were all in a hurry to get out of there . I would like to know what happened to Dani ? Bad time to blow smoke up our _ _ _ ! It’s truly amazing that each time they say the same thing yet are able to remove any possible matting. Wash home and take care of his nails . Yet this time , since our dog had the last appointment that it was possibly to much work .The kicker is also , I tip rather well ! We won’t be taking our dog to this so called groomer where they tell you something and you are to take it at full face value . So to your grooming staff you will not have to deal with us anymore. You have a nice day . Highly disappointed.

Really like this store. They're very helpful. Ask if you need help,if you don't they won't bother you. Staff does answers your questions if they don't know will find someone who does know the answer. Have whatever I need. Prices could be better.

Took my mini aussie there for bath, nail trim, and shave. The nail trim and shave were fine but there is no way they gave her a bath. She smelled the same when I picked her up as she did when I dropped her off. I will not be returning for grooming service again.

I drove 45 minutes to get to Petsmart in Wentzville because it's the closest store to my rural home and I promised my girls they could pick out a fish to replace one we had lost. We arrived shortly after 6. They're open til 7pm on Sundays. We stood in the aquatics section 20 minutes waiting for someone to help and finally went to ask for help. We were refused by an employee and supervisor because we were advised it's store policy to not sell fish an hour before closing. I did not see any notice regarding this policy on the website or in the store, at least nothing clearly visible. I will no longer shop at any Petsmart.

Didn't care for the haircut this time.

Usually well stocked. Some items are priced well, while others cost a lot more than other options.

Clean store. Helpful employees. Hand sanitizer available.

Just finished beginners training with my 7m german shepherd. Courtney is a nice trainer my puppy likes her. Would recommend training here

Lots to choose from for your pets

Went there to buy gerbils for my son and when I asked them for assistance they told me that they don't sell animals an hour before close (I was a couple minutes shy of the hour requirement). Very frustrating but I did come back at a different time (middle of the day) and purchased the gerbils and the girl was very nice on telling my son tips and tricks for caring for them.

Staff was very helpful and I found what I needed easily

Complete and total waste of time. My wife booked an appointment for our 4 month old lab mix. No one said anything about need rabies vaccination records,( we have had him vaccinated, he’s up to date). The obviously knew how old he was because the first thing the girl said was “ do you have his rabies vaccination records?” Really? Who carries that around? They said nothing to my wife when she booked the appointment. Horrible customer service. They don’t have the market cornered on dog grooming. I’ll go somewhere that wants my business.

Absolutely WORST haircut my labradoodle has ever had! They obviously do not know what they are doing especially when grooming a doodle! I can’t believe I had to pay for this haircut! I will never go back there or recommend them to anyone!

I hate to give them only 3 stars but they need helper or workers. And some with knowledge and personality. I sound do mean but really I am not. Just truthful. They need to smile more and just maybe seem a little excited about helping your customers. ?
