They are great. I didn't have a lot of money, and they worked with me. They seemed very knowledgeable. And helped my sick cat.

I took my cat here because she had a broken leg. I had never been to this vet before this but they had me come in immediately after telling them what was going on with my cat. They were very accommodating by letting me come in so early even though they were busy already because I had to get to work but I also had to get my cat some help. The vet techs were all super sweet and caring for Sugar. I could tell they genuinely cared for her. After seeing her x-rays, they told me they would keep her there for the week until she had her surgery to get her prepared and do blood work They allowed me to come in to see her in the days leading up to her surgery and every time I had questions they were very helpful in answering. This is by far the best bet experience I ever had. They completed her surgery and I picked her up yesterday. Now she is on kennel rest at home where she is able to walk clumsily to her litter box and eating. I can tell she’s confused but she knows that she’s going to be okay once she’s all healed up. I really appreciate everything this vet has done for me and Sugar and look forward to continue business with them!

The staff is always very pleasant and welcoming. They take very good care of our dog and he always looks great when they are done!

Dr Lucas did an MMP surgery on our Golden Retriever. He was very good at explaining both the procedure before and the follow up after. He also returns calls even after business hours. I highly recommend, we have had a very good experience with them!

Iv been comeing to animal talk for over 10 years now the doctors don't change same doctor been working there since I started going there he's a bit odd but the best in the business he has never once misdiagnosed my animals or any one else that I sent his way he is always spot on best animal clinic in my opinion my mother also takes her dogs here the doctor also is a exotic pet surgeon...... he's on ???? thanks again for over 10 years of veteran services my reviews are hard to get but this place has my vote ????

Animal Talk is always available and quick to help the needs of my pets. When Dr. Lucas is not familiar with something he quickly research’s and reaches out to his network of professional experts to ensure the best method is found and provided to his patients.

Dr. Lucas and his staff are the best! They are caring and personable. The facility is immaculate and easily accessible for many communities. The animals are very well cared for. 5 stars!

I am blown away by this Facility, my dog had a seizure and scared me to death, and i found it at the last minute and rushed him in sobbing and the staff was quick to alert the vet, who looked at him right away, he started coming to, and walking around. They did bloodwork and were very attentive, and my dog is ok. I am so thankful for them, they even stayed late taking care of us. I highly recommend this vet and will be moving all my business to them!

I have two Irish wolfhounds and have trusted their opinions on many things regarding my breed. They know not to spay or neuter them early and make sure we feed the correct amount of protein and fat for growing a giant breed. Other veterinarians we started with made poor recommendations regarding how to grow and maintain our breeds but these people knew exactly what we needed. Their prices are very fair for dogs our size and the service has always been quick, courteous, and professional. They also have some giants breeds they own, Newfoundland and Pyrenees which I have seen hanging out in their back office. We moved to Oakville but I still drive back to their office.

They will always take a moment to answer a pet parent's questions and care for the critters brought in to them. Been going there for years and I never want to have to find another ver like Jacob and his dad, Mark, before him.

The same week my husband and I moved out to Warrenton we ended up having to put our beloved Heidi to sleep. We had an in home euthanasia scheduled but she took a turn for the worse and we could not stand to see her suffer another day. I called around to a few different places that would have been close to us and Animal Talk was happy to help. They were so incredibly kind during a very difficult time in our lives. The whole staff and doctor were great at walking us through the process. We did cremation and got her ashes back which was packaged up very nicely and a week later we got a card from them that was signed by the whole office. For them never meeting us or Heidi before that day they were extremely compassionate and would recommend them to anyone.

Getting an appointment with a good vet is next to impossible, I am so glad that Animal Talk accommodates all its patience and prioritizes their well-being. I love that the clinic offers emergency hours keeping my mind at a constant ease. Dr. LUCAS is incredible and only prescribes medication when deems absolutely necessary. 100% recommend taking your pet here

Awesome staff who genuinely cares about animals!

Visited for the first time recently with our new puppy! The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable! Our puppy was so happy there, he just laid on the exam table like he was at home. Loved that they had wellness programs to assist with the cost too. My mom referred us to Animal Talk. Her 12 year old cairn terrier loves going to the vet for appointments and boarding, even after having two different surgeries, her dog still loves going and wags her tail every time she sees the vet. That's saying something.

Great first time experience for our adopted pet Jack. After losing our precious corgi LuLu to cancer, we just needed reassurance that Jack was Ok. He's a Boxer Mix with the most beautiful eyes that just melt your heart. We love our Mr. Jack as my daughter calls him and it suits him just fine.

They were the only vet that would take new patients during the shutdown, and having fosters that was important. They have been wonderful, and now my primary vet.

They treat Zoey like family. Love this place

I have a very timid German Shepherd who can be hard to handle at times. Animal talk and their staff always does an amazing job with him. I drive all the way from the city just to go there because I have not found another vet office that even comes close to the level of service and care I get from Animal Talk.

Groomer did a great job on my cat!! Very gentle and patient with her. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We've been going here for over 6 years I believe. Staff is generally always pleasant and Dr. Lucas is very knowledgeable. We never feel forced into certain decisions and he walks out the general outcome of all choices provided as needed and always seems willing to teach or show me things to help us better care for our pets! I definitely feel comfortable recommending this practice to people I know.
