Always a wonderful clinic for our cat. Affordable, patient, and kind, we always receive wonderful service from all team members.

I have 2 very fearful dogs and Dr. Brooks is always very patient and calm during their appointments. Highly recommend.

Ares and Aria love going to the Vet. They are very accommodating, very attentive, and offer peanut butter of offset our dogs anxiety. I highly recommend bringing your pets here.

Amazing staff! I found a little lost dog and they quickly helped me to find his owner! They were very kind to this little guy and let me know what to do to help him until his mom could come get him. I am very grateful for their kindness and their help.

My husband and I are so thankful for Dr. Frei and the staff at Affton Vet Clinic. Not only is their veterinary care top notch, they are patient, kind and compassionate. They recently guided us through a tough situation with our dog, Stan, and we are forever grateful.

The staff at Affton Veterinary Clinic were AMAZING. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The Vet Tech answered all of my questions and made me and my dog feel comfortable and calm. The Doctor was so helpful, she was through and honest with her assessment, and answered all questions I had. I knew my dog was in good hands and I would (and will) recommend this vet clinic to anyone!

My girlfriend previously left a review, I'm just writing another because both our pups had their checkups today and it was great per usual. I saw Dr. Frei instead of Dr. Brooks and she is just as amazing. Dr. Brooks clearly picked someone to join her practice who agrees with her compassion and honesty. My FAVORITE thing about this clinic is they will tell you their honest opinion, and the price before you do the procedure, whether it's a shot or test etc. There is no smoke and mirrors that other vets pull where they say "oh we don't know the exact price". It's normal to want to know how much you're spending, and they're very welcome to help. Today I asked about one of my dogs who has a little bump on his stomach, and they told me the truth, saying it's probably fine, but if I want it tested just to know for sure it would be $37. We gladly did it and our pup is safe. It's refreshing to actually be told the honest truth for once and have an upfront simple price. They are also so nice and willing to answer any questions, even if they're overprotective pet parent questions. All the vet techs are also great! We drive over an hour round trip to get here and it's totally worth it.

Absolutely pitiful experience today. My wife and I had set an appointment for our two cats to receive their annual shots. The day before our appointment (Jan 13), we received an appointment confirmation call for Jan 14 at 3:30pm (both my wife and I were listening on speaker phone). On Jan 14 at 3:20pm, we receive a call asking why we are running late to our appointment. After apologizing and explaining that we both understood our appointment to be set for 3:30pm (and that we were already running a few minutes behind with the inclement weather), we told the woman operating the phone that we were on our way. She said it wasn't a problem and they would see us soon. Upon arrival at 3:38pm, the woman working the Affton Vet Clinic desk told us that the appointment slot was over and we were out of luck. She then proceeded to tell us that we were flat wrong as to what time was confirmed by their office the previous day (again, we both clearly heard 3:30pm and marked it in our phone calendars). Suffice to say we are disappointed with the inflexibility of the desk staff and their seeming inability to work with clients. Even more frustrating is their inability to accept any fault in telling us the wrong appointment time. We will have to strongly reconsider whether there is value in continuing to do business with this clinic. Their standard policy is to bill clients for completely missed appointments, which I readily have paid in the past when we've been the party at fault, so I am curious to see how they handle this one. 2/4/21 update: We received an invoice for the "missed" appointment today. That's the nail in the coffin for this place; we'll be taking our four pets to another vet going forward. If anyone at Affton Veterinary Clinic reads this review, you should strongly consider putting select members of your desk staff through basic customer service training. I typically give small businesses the benefit of the doubt, but showing a combative attitude toward customers never gets a pass. Guess I'll die on this hill.
