We love this Vet. They are so sweet and obviously love the animals and love what they are doing. Our puppy is always excited when she figures out where we are.

I had a great experience with Dr. Knubley and his staff. They seem to really care about their patients! Prior to making the appointment, I spoke to two different staff members who were professional and very helpful with what I was calling about. When my kitten got ill, I chose this clinic to get her care. We were able to get in that afternoon and be seen. The prices were fair when considering veterinary care and the treatment was right on! I will continue going to this office; I am puzzled by the negative reviews.

Very calm environment. A bit of a wait in the room though. But the people were very nice and professional. Everything was very clean and the price was much cheaper than I had expected. Overall I was impressed and I know I will be back!

I was happy when i called them dispite being fully booked they squeezed me and my dog in. Not only did they squeeze him in they got to us right away (or within a few min) . i was super happy with the staff and DR. they were very thorough with examining him. Also were praising my dog the whole time on how good he was, even though he was sick and excited at the same time. Only complaint i would have is that the prices are fairly high. Although, my dog is my baby and no price is too much to pay to make him feel better. Ill definitely be back.

I would not go to this vets office. They are dishonest and overpriced Semites that own and operate it. For example, I was forced to pay them for lab work, and examines costing hundreds just to get a prescription and had it filled by them. Found out Mo. statutes says I can get a prescription with no strings attached as they did me. I tried to get another one filled and take it elsewhere since they charged 5 times more then other places. Would only allow one refill which again violated the law. His Semite wife Paula is very rude and constantly uses high sales tactics to get more money and lies about prescriptions. I had the dogs teeth cleaned on their insistence but could not tell any different in appearance when I got the dog returned to me.

I highly recommend Dr. Knubley. His techs are amazing! I had a fussy cat that other vets want to sedate because touching her. His techs tended to my cat with love and care. I was so relieved. Thank you guys for taking such good care of Gracie!!!

I will NEVER set foot in this horrible place! It's not even worth a ONE star review!! I'm new to town and needed to find a good place I could trust with my pets but I CLEARLY won't get that here! A horrible woman named Paula answered the phone when I called to ask a question but only yelled at me telling be she didn't "have time for this, I'm busy!" then hung up on me! Makes me think what kind of Doctor or management team would allow her to work for them and if they allow her to treat their clients that way, how are they allowing the pets to be treated??? Absolutely awful staff and makes me cringe to think about how the poor animals are treated at this place. If you care anything about your pets PLEASE do not take them here and Paula should be FIRED as well as the Doctors/management that allow her to treat customers that way and keep her job!! 0 STARS for this place!!!

I've had a much different experience than these other people who took time out of their lives to write nasty reviews and attempt to damage a business' credibility. I adopted a rescue dog and took him to Oakville for a head to toe exam. I was greeted by Paula who smiled at me and asked me to have a seat. I found her to be extremely competent, knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone has a bad day, people. Maybe you should check your own attitude before you point fingers at someone else. Anywhoo, I had a very pleasurable experience at that clinic and my dog was well taken care of. After the exam, Paula sat with me for over 30 minutes and we talked about the medicines I was given and how to administer them, we talked about puppy care and training and then she answered all my questions. It was nearing closing time and she never even blinked an eye or rushed me out of there. As far as cost goes, I don't mind paying a little extra for personalized attention to myself and my pet. I felt like a valued customer and I will be going back.

The staff-Paula was extremely rude. She talked horribly to my child and myself. When I made the appointment I was told the entire visit would be $165 to establish care and puppy vaccines. When I went to pay I was charged $250, I asked why it was so much bc I was told the visit would would be $165. Her response was No, you were told because I handle the phone call and I am not goino to argue with you. I would highly suggest seeking care elsewhere, I will not go back.

My parents started taking our family dog to Dr. Knubley when I was 4 years old, and continued to see him for many years. When I got my first dog as an adult, I tried a couple clinics closer to where I was living at the time, and wasn't happy with any of them. I was always so impressed with the way the staff treated us, and the way they handled it when our family Beagle had to be put down. I live in Belleville, IL, which is about 20 miles from the clinic. Not convenient, but I'm happy to make the drive because of the amazing service I always get there. I've seen a few other reviews comment about the poor service. I will say there is one assistant who is very condescending and rude, but everyone else, including Dr. Knubley, is so amazing to work with. One visit in particular, 2 of my dogs got in a fight and one needed stitches. I drove the 20 miles to the office, called them on the way to let them know I'd be coming and why. Dr. Knubley was in the middle of a surgery when I got there, but one of his staff members sat with me in a room, trying to help me calm down (I was very upset and crying, it had been a scary fight), and sat with me the entire time while we waited for the surgery to be over, probably 30-45 minutes. Dr. Knubley then came in and was very gentle with Emmy while he stitched up her wounds. This was on a Tuesday, and the office is closed on Wednesdays. The assistant gave me her personal cell phone number to call if I had any problems when the office was closed. Very great service, if you ask me.

My wife took her minature dashound there this afternoon at about 4 o'clock for a small cut on her leg. Thirty five minutes later she was given her dog back along with a bill for $602. The cut was only about three quarters of an inch, and we weren't even certain it needed stitches. By coincidence I also received a bill from Missouri Baptist for an ER visit for one of my sons today. It was $377. Maybe next time we'll take her to Mo Bap if something happens.
