We recently switched to Route 66 Clinic after a friend suggested them to us. They have been beyond wonderful!!! We adopted a kitten that ended up pretty sick the next day. Our previous vet's office wouldn't even take my call, they just told us to go to the emergency vet or that they could see him in a week for an appointment. Route 66 has been a completely different experience. Any time I have had a question by email or call, they have been responsive and helpful. Our appointments I have really appreciated everyone's interactions and care with our sweet kitties. Any time our kitties have needed antibiotics or shots, someone from Route 66 will call to check on them. It means so much to me to know they give such concern for the animals entrusted to them. I can not recommend them enough!!

I want to be fair so I left 3 star. I called after finding a kitten stuck in my truck engine. I rescued the kitten and I want to introduce her to my older cat. I called here to see if they can do blood work to make sure the kitten doesn't have any diseases. They basically told me im outta luck cause they don't take new patients. So they could very well be a great vet office but too bad no new animals will get the pleasure.

All the staff is fantastic and we would absolutely go back again for the care and attention to detail that they showed our dog

Kind staff and knowledgeable Vet! Love that it's located on the West Side of Springfield so I don't have to travel far with an already anxious little dog.

Staff is incredibly kind. They are very honest and tell you everything you need to know. I've never felt ripped off here. Can't say the same for any other vet I've been to. If they don't have the best price (they almost always do), they tell you who does. They treat your pets like their own. I wouldn't take mine anywhere else. It's across town for me, but I'll always make the drive so I know my pets get the best care possible.

The Dr is great with my dog. And she explains everything so a regular person can understand. The rest of the staff are wonderful and caring.

I want to publicly thank Route 66 Pet Clinic. From the time I called and the gentlemen that I spoke with on the phone to setting up the appointment, to the timely visit that was scheduled, to the experience that my dog and I had with Dr. Becky Osterfund and her staff, I have nothing put positive things to say. Truly professional and extremely insightful and what my dog was going through. As I was leaving the gentlemen at the reception desk stated that they would follow up with me and said that we are now a part of the family and they wanted to make sure my dog was taken care of. The biggest smile was left for the price. I know someone that breed certain dogs and they stated that the services I received and what I was billed was extremely well priced and that Route 66 is very reasonably priced. Loved the experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Route 66. I just had to write this because I was very impressed.

This this vet, I take my dogs here for all of their needs. The vet is very nice and caring for my dogs, they almost treat them as if their own. My dogs enjoy going to the vet because of the great exp we have had

Always wonderful interactions, whether I have my fur baby with me or not. Sometimes, it's an appointment to get the little one checked out. Sometimes I'm just running in solo to pick up some flea medication. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful. The vet is absolutely incredible. She is gentle, compassionate, and will take the time to explain things fully so that owners have a solid idea of what's going on with their precious pet. The techs as well treat the animals they see so kindly and show a real enthusiasm to work with them. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I gladly would.

Words cannot describe how much we appreciate and love our vet. My husband and I have four cats and two dogs that we have accumulated over the span of our six year relationship. When my husband and I started dating, we adopted a cat that was full of fleas… We took him to Route 66 pet clinic, and have been taking all of our animals there ever since. They care. They know your animals by name, and make sure that you know what is needed to keep them healthy. With that said, we have never felt pressured to do something that we couldn’t afford. Route 66 has always been available, patient, and incredibly helpful. Numerous times have I called and gotten FREE, over the phone medical advice during times of concern. They’re prices are reasonable, and the quality of service is unmatched. This is the best vet in Springfield. We are moving out to Nixa soon, but will still definitely be taking our fur babies to Route 66.

They took the best car of our sweet girl. I cannot recommend them enough.
