Absolutely amazing service. They got my cat Leo in within a week even though I was a new customer. When we got there they were nice and knew what they were talking about. The entire team was amazing and I am very glad to have them take care of my fur baby.

Dr. Tim is the best veterinarian in St. Louis! My basset hound was attacked by a neighbors dog this week and Dr. Tim took the best care of him. The entire staff is amazing! I can’t say enough great things about My Best Friend Veterinary Center.

June 17 for rabies shot along with wellness check. Dr called and informed upon the status, I'm not going to mention the vet I'm assuming has never had my dog before or possibly didn't have his chart by him because I mentioned apoquel and he stated " he's on apoquel"? Vets answer was " oh I see he gets apoquel, but from chewy". I made mention upon probiotics due to my dog receiving antibiotics. I didn't get a printout of the bill which was different but no worries I'm sure it'll be viewable via email I was told it would be around $300. Once home I gave meds. I'll say not long after he wasn't feeling well and diarrhea started. I can tell he was nauseous but wasn't given meds for that. Enters my mother whom knows more than I do with my dog especially as far as questioning and concerns via health. So she asked about nausea meds and asked me to just watch over him throughout the night. Morning came and my mother stated after I gave meds in the am that the antibiotics Simplicef should've been listed on his chart as he has had reactions to it. She was very alarmed by that. I'll say my mom called opening hours to inquire upon neglecting giving medication that shows allergy in his charts. She mentioned to me that I should've went in and inquired upon nausea meds always as ( again she understands more) with antibiotics and prednisone alone he could be nauseous as he has in the past. My mom inquired if they called around 10am and there was not a call and she was so shocked that not even an apology for that. ( now any other establishment human or pet if it's a mishap, an immediate call and apology would follow) There was a call later in the day, again no apology no call from the vet as my mom really was still in shock that not even the vet attending my dog that day would call. The call was just like an order being made. " if you can bring the antibiotics we can give you the right ones". I was amazed that there was no sorry, how is he doing, I'll send nausea meds also. As I went to get items again nothing just a thank you. This has not been the first time with almost administering the wrong thing shot or meds but during that time my mother would be there in the room and knew the questions to ask and what to look for which is something I lack in. Now a different issue, my mom saw the email with the bill (blocked the name out of privacy for that individual), indeed there was a doozy besides being charged for the nail cut , the charge for probiotics raised concern as I made a call and sure enough. This time there was an apology as first nail trim should not have been a charge once they viewed he had a shot(if coming for nail trim of course there is a fee, probiotics, they were actually shocked as they mentioned that's not the price of the probiotics$130. I was happily going to inform them that I've purchased purina pro plan SA and it wasn't $130. But there was an apology for that mistake. They asked for my cc info and mentioned that the difference will go back on my card from $304.10 (3-5 or 5-7 business days)and Monday there will be an updated itemized bill. It is 6/22 Tue and there wasn't an itemized bill at the end of business hours. But I saw on my bank statement $316.11 for I’m not sure as no statement or receipt from returning the wrong antibiotics. It was very disheartening to see that care isn't there for your pet which one considers just like your own baby. What if this human error would've turned almost deadly or with the case of myself not knowing and my mother knowing. I would've been administering the wrong thing to him and possibly causing more harm. What if the price on the bill wouldn't have been viewed, would there have been a call to let us know that there was an error.... Or is that something that is done, checking to make sure no one is overpaid for something that should've been free or mixup with entering information. That's scary Update: 6/25 went to get itemized bill and made mention upon two items, was asked if I spoke to anyone, that hasn’t happened but 6/26 shows corrected amt in account.

I've been taking my cat here for years. The team at My Best Friend Vet is always so professional, easy to work with, friendly, and helpful. My cat does not like the vet and they do a great job with her. I would highly recommend them!

Julie and Dr. Chelsie are empathetic, understanding, and super patient. They answer all the questions I have. I was concerned at first because of the drop-off policy. But then I trust them for all the work. Whenever you have issues related to your best friend, they always give advice. We’ve tried different vets before, but this will be the only place we go in the future.

We highly recommend My Best Friend Veterinary Center. The doctors and staff always take awesome care of us, and they make sure our humans have clear explanations to take care of them too. I just got my first ever puppy of my own, and I wanted to take her to the BEST vet. My Best Friend Veterinary Center by far exceeded my expectations. They are such a wonderful, kind, lovely, and caring staff, and I was given great thorough explanations of anything I needed to know! My puppy left so happy too. She loved everyone there and so did I! I’m so glad I found such an incredible place to trust for my puppy. Highly recommend! Amazing.

I love My Best Friend Vet. When I moved to St Louis I didn't really look for a vet. Then of course my dog had an emergency and I had to find one FAST! My Best Friend was right down the road from me and had great reviews so I gave them a call. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and understanding and got my Lucky pup in right way. Dr. Donna was amazing and I will miss her since she moved away. However, the entire staff here is great. If you are looking for a vet that actually cares about your pet instead of trying to make a profit and have you pay for things your pet doesn't need you must go here!

Really great vibe at this office; patient, kind, and helpful. On the vet side of things, my pugs have gotten nothing but compassion. On the grooming side of things - also wonderful. I highly recommend Denise, she's great w pugs!

We moved here two years ago and this has been the only place we've gone too. We went there for convenience but stayed for the quality of care. They are patient with all our questions and every member of the staff is very kind and understanding. I truly feel like they love our pup just like it was their own. Their COVID protocols are top notch and no inconvenience at all. Love this place.

Everyone here was super friendly and accommodation. They were all very concerned about my cats needs and what he why he was visiting for the day. The place was super clean and welcoming. All around, a great place to take your furry family member!

From my first meeting at Pride St. Louis, to my initial visit yesterday, I have never met a more friendly, welcoming, and happy group of people. The staff was extremely helpful, cheerful, and courteous in setting up a same day appointment, explaining the process, and checking us in. My lil guy was in great hands with the Dr. Clayton-Lee, who was just as helpful and explanatory. We have found our family vet and I look forward to a long lasting relationship with our furbabies here!! Highly recommend!!

I was really impressed with my first visit to this clinic with my dog. Dr. Sandy really took her time to listen to me and examine my dog. The staff was very competent and friendly too! I will go back again **two thumbs up**

Friendly staff and extremely helpful found a disease in our pet that prior vet had missed. Prognosis is not good wish the long time prior vet would of cough it sooner.

Dr. Tim is fantastic. Finding a good vet like at My Best Friend is like finding a good mechanic or a good spouse, when you find them, hold on to them. Dr. Tim has my full confidence and takes his time with my dogs and answers all of my questions thoroughly. He is meticulous and caring. I am very thankful to have found Dr. Tim and the staff at My Best Friend Vet Center.
