I have been going to them for the last 20+ years with every pet I've had. Even when I moved all the way to Gerald, Mo. They are outstanding, with the most caring, polite, and courteous employees I have ever come across. They are very professional and patient with the pets and owners even with the COVID stuff going on. Highly recommend them!!!!

I took both my cats to Jefferson Animal Hospital this week for check ups and UTI/dental concerns. The clinic got me appointment options for as soon as next day and pricing was upfront and fair. ($45 for regular visit / $65 for emergency visits). They let me know how much urinary testing was before I took them in, and quoted me an extremely fair price for a cleaning. They asked a lot of questions about the medical history of my cats than anyone else and even asked for past records. I have never had a vet do that before! All their associates were great to work with and clearly cared for the cats. I had concerns about one of my cat's teeth, and after the examination, they were honest and let me know he does not have too many teeth and that any dental work would be pretty arbitrary. They offered to do the dental work anyway, but also gave me the option to monitor him and schedule dental work if it became necessary later. (We went with the second option.) Overall, these guys are fair and honest. I will be back for all my vet needs!

Have been bringing our kitties here for years and hope we never have to take them anywhere else. Dr. White & Dr. Schneider are truly the best vets we've ever encountered and they have an awesome staff as well. After a some unpleasant experiences at other veterinary care facilities, this is the only place we truly trust bringing our fur babies to as we know they will receive compassionate and quality care at every visit--and without us going bankrupt in the process! Thank you, Jefferson Animal Hospital! My husband and I are eternally grateful to have access to such amazing care for our kitties at an affordable cost.

Straightforward, affordable care. Dr. Schneider is very clear with explaining everything that is being done for the care of my cats. She doesn’t over prescribe or suggest treatments unless they are necessary. She is practical and responsive to the needs of the animals and their owners. One day f my cats was a feral street cat for years and Jefferson Animal Hospital has given him wonderful care even though he is hard to handle. After 8 years on the streets he is finally finding indoors to be a bit easier. Dr. Schneider has kept him well and disease free which made his transition to indoor life worry free.

These people are nice! At my former vet, they used to take urine and fecal samples from my dog, then they told me to do it. They used to cut my dogs’ nails, then they told me they couldn’t. The services kept going down while the prices kept going up. These people are nice to me and to my dogs. They cut nails and called my German Shepherd a “sweetheart”. I DON’T call her that. Because they treat my dogs with love, I LOVE them!

I didn't go to this place. I was not trying to give a negative review. Google keeps trying to get me to review locations just because I drove by them. Sorry.

We have brought our two dogs here for several years and recommend it to everyone we can. Dr. White and Dr. Schneider are both wonderful and the vet techs are equally as awesome! Service is better, and more affordable, than anywhere I know. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Very professional but warm people. First time my Otis came and he's sweet but affraid bc he was abused badlyBut he wasnt even that upset not having his mama there.???? I was more upset tjey were great made him all better He had a cold with bad coughing but it is cured and now im going to make an appointment to get his shots now. Thanx so much xoxo

I had to put our beloved family dog down last week and the staff took amazing care of not only Ace but myself. They were sweet and gentle with him, loving and patient with me, and truly made a sad experience bearable. I went back today to pick up his ashes and they were just as loving today as they were last Monday.

Due to covid cannot go in and actually meet the doctor. Just moved to the city 3 months ago and found this place for my girl. Very friendly, great communication.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I selected Jefferson Animal Hospital for my dog Chester's health care provider. After a trip to the Emergency Vet, I contacted JAH to see if Chester could be seen as he was still struggling and in a lot of pain. Dr. White gave Chester a thorough exam and identified health issues that were missed. He was in pain and his health was very poor. The team was very caring and compassionate as I had to say goodbye to my handsome boy.

Very affordable! They are normally able to squeeze us in when we have any issues ASAP. They always are excited to see our two pups and all staff is nice to talk to. Can’t thank enough :)

At this point I am disappointed with the service from the clinic.....The vet recommend a heart worm test and I never got a called back. To my dismay when I finally called two weeks later to check on the results it was Stage 2 positive.....the lame reason was because the fax machine didn't work......... unacceptable.......please just admit you dropped the ball.... because we all know there has to be a system in place just in case technology breaks down....they were somewhat sorry and not willing to adjust the price with the long term expensive care of the heartworm treatment....... unacceptable I
