Great job considering it was my dog's first time being groomed. It was a little hard to reach someone when I arrived to pick up my dog. Overall, my experience was a good one.

I have been looking for the perfect groomer for my Bearded Collie & finally found my “go-to”. Christina is so wonderful. After meeting her and discussing what I was wanting, I knew I had left my fur baby in good hands. My Bearded Collie has the BEST new haircut and I cannot stop obsessing over how good he looks!! Hands down my new favorite groomer. We’re both excited to go back. I drove 40 minutes just to get my dog groomed & it was 100% worth the trip!! Thank you Delmar Doggie Design - you all are the best!!

DELMAR DOGGIE DESIGN NEARLY KILLED MY DOG. My dog’s quality of life substantially declined after his first visit to this groomer. For 10 years while we lived in Texas my dog never had any issues at his groomer. After moving to St. Louis and choosing this place, Christina (the owner), decided to feed my 10-year-old poodle without my permission, during his visit, because she thought he looked underweight. Christina then attempted to conceal the fact that my dog had been vomiting shortly after he was given food she described as being soaked in hot water. Minutes after my dog returned home from his grooming appointment he began to throw up all over the house. When I asked Christina why she felt it was okay to feed my poodle without my permission and without knowledge of his medical history, she could only discuss the number of years she’d been a groomer. An experienced groomer would never feed your fur-baby. Christina lacks empathy and is negligent, she assumed the role of a veterinarian and my dog’s life has changed forever because of this. I’m sharing my experience, so this doesn’t happen to your cherished pet. I read the reviews on Google and decided to use Delmar Doggie Design that was a huge mistake. There are many respectable pet groomers in St. Louis, Delmar Doggie isn’t one of them. I’ve included a picture of my dog before Christina tried to kill him.

Awesome groomers, been going to them ever since we've moved here in April. Our fur babies always looks good when they walk out from the groomers. Keep up the awesome work .

Takes good care of my diesel

I have taken my Pomeranian Toastie to DDD several times already and have been very satisfied each time! He always looks and smells amazing afterwards, and his fur feels so soft, I can't help but bury my face in it. You can tell they spent the time to really get out the excess fur and make him feel super soft and silky. This last time I decided to switch things up and ask for a puppy cut, and I was SOOO happy with what I got! Toastie gets even more squeals and gasps from people on the street, and I can't stop cuddling him, he looks so cute. I had my sister bring her Pom Pancake to them, too, and she says they do a better job than PetSmart at a better price. Christina and her staff at DDD always do an amazing job, they're accommodating and flexible to their clients' needs, and they seem to genuinely care about very dog that comes through. I will keep taking Mr. Toastie to them as long as I can.

Hands down the best groomer in town. Love her. She takes great care of my dog and is just the best.

I have been taking my girl to DDD for years. They always take excellent care of her and she leaves looking amazing.

I took my St. Bernard in today for the first time and couldn’t be happier! The ladies at DDD took their time and made sure that my dog Nell didn’t feel overwhelmed or scared during the process. When she came in, she was starting to get matted and tangled, and I could never get my pup to let me cut or brush her myself. I was starting to worry that I would never be able to get her properly groomed, but when I came to pick her up today she looked AMAZING!!! Not only did they give her an adorable haircut, but they gave her a new client special which included teeth brushing, nail shaping, a bath with a really good smelling shampoo, and a few other nice finishing touches. If you are like me and hate the idea of leaving your dog in a stranger’s hands even for just a few hours, just bring your pup here and you’ll be able to tell right away that this is a place ran by competent and careful dog lovers. You’ll be doing right by your dog, and as a nice bonus, you’ll be supporting a really cool shop ran by really kind people.

Can not say enough amazing things about Delmar Doggie Design! My dogs get so excited when we walk through the door because every groomer is so kind, caring and professional! They always come home looking great! 5/5 stars every single time!

I am from Ohio and found their web page. I checked their reviews and looked through pics of previous customers, and liked what I saw. I took my Sadie in for her 1st real cut to try them out, and I am so pleased with the results. I am definitely telling friends and family about them. They are on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

I loved this place I have gotten a lot of advice of my doggie Halo needs. Christina and her staff are remarkable, this is a very warm and welcoming highly professional dog grooming facility I highly recommend. Christina "YOU ROCK"

Our cousin, who has advancing medical condition, wasn’t able to get he Scottie in for regular grooming. We are from IN and found Delmar on the web and brought the little guy, who was very scruffy, in for grooming. They did an outstanding job with a challenging client. I have a very nervous and shy Yorkie/Pom. She is wary of new people, new environments, and new experiences making grooming difficult. I struggle being able to take care of her paws and nails on my own, and I must say I will struggle even harder to find a groomer I trust more than Christine. She is careful, fast, and very sweet to my pup. I've had dogs all my life, and I've not found a groomer as gentle and efficient. Much thanks to Delmar Doggie Design for providing a safe and comfortable place for my very anxious pup!!

We have a very challenging dog; he's around 60 pounds, very skittish around new people, double-coat which can get out of control. The groomers here have been so great with him. He never seems distressed when we pick him up like he has with other groomers. They always have glowing reviews and care very much about him and his health. Very happy with the services they provide and they are fairly priced.

They do a great job with cutting my Labordoodle. She enjoys being here too!

I love our groomers! They are so accommodating as far as scheduling or if I'm running late to pick my two up. Our larger dog is a rescue and they were so patient and loving with her - now she loves her monthly trips for nails and/or baths. Our small dog loves going so much that he starts impatiently whining in the car when we're half a mile away.
