Creve Coeur Animal Hospital Saint Louis, Missouri

I don’t even know where to start with Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. My husband and I needed a new vet when we moved to St. Louis, and read wonderful reviews about CCAH. We started bringing our Lexi cat to them when she was healthy, and they were amazing. I’d like to especially recognize Dr. Glaeser, who was Lexi’s primary vet, and Lexi (the human!) vet tech, who loved her namesake like she was her own. Lexi was 14 when we started taking her to CCAH and she developed diabetes a few months after our move to STL. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout her diagnosis. They were always prompt at scheduling appointments, they would call us to check in on her, they would explain our options thoroughly, and took excellent care of our girl. Her health continued to decline, but Dr. Glaeser made sure we were able to keep her around as long as she was feeling good. When it came time to discuss end of life care, they made excellent recommendations for at home euthanasia. They also sent us a beautiful card with handwritten notes from Dr. Glaeser and Vet tech Lexi. This staff loved our girl so much, and they cared about us as clients. We have moved to O’Fallon, MO, now, but will probably still bring any future pets the 20+ miles to CCAH to continue the excellent care they started a few years ago.

I learned about this place from my sister, and Dr. Kemp is the only vet I want to go to from now on. I've had terrible experiences with vets in the past to the point where I didn't want to take my cat anywhere. Dr. Kemp and the team are so amazing, and not only calm my cat down, but me, too. I fully believe she saved my pet and added years on to his life. ❤️ Updated to say: when it came time recently to let my cat Toasty go, the staff were so compassionate, kind and helpful. They truly loved him like he was their own, and made a horrible moment a bit more bearable. ❤️

Everyone was really kind and were professional. They gave my cat and I our own room. The room was nice and clean. They treated Soup gently and did really well with her. Normally she isn't good with new people but she did very well.

Dr. Kemp has been our family vet for 18 years. She is the most competent, thorough, and, most importantly, compassionate DVM we could’ve hoped for to care for our animals over the years. Yesterday (a Saturday), we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog. Dr. Kemp came to our home to help her pass peacefully and to give much-needed comfort to my family. Our pets and our family are better for having her as our vet. Cannot recommend this clinic enough.

Dr. Moritz and Dr. McGown are awesome with our reptiles and we couldn't be happier. Healthy pets=happy humans.

My dog suffered for months due to their incompetence and complete lack of caring. All this place wants is money. Stay away.

The staff is fantastic! The vet was very thorough and nice. Got my cat in within a day of me calling. Would highly recommend them.

The vets & staff are amazing! We take our guinea pig there. If you’re looking for a pocket pet vet or any other pet vet, CCAH is your place! On a side note, I’ve seen very happy customers on the cat & dog side, too!

We have been using CCAH for 12 years now. They are fantastic to work with. Everyone from the vets to the techs are professional and clearly care about the animals. We always have a great experience there. I have recommended CCAH to many people over the years!

Dr.Moritz is amazing. I have been taking my pets to him for over 18 years. He takes the time to explain treatment plans in detail and listens to all of your questions in a way that never makes you feel rushed. As long as I am in St.Louis this is the only clinic that I will take my pets to.The front desk and vet techs are super friendly and very kind when interacting with the fur babies..you can tell that everyone at the clinic loves what they do and really cares about animals. Can't say enough about how wonderful CCAH is. We truly appreciate all that they have done to care for our furry kids over the years.????

I have been taking my bunny here for the past 3 years and they have been nothing but wonderful. The staff is amazing and I've never had to wait long for an appointment. Highly recommend them to anyone with a furry friend but especially for anyone needing a rabbit savvy vet.

Have been bringing my dogs to the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital for the past 20 years, and have always found everyone on the staff to be quite caring, polite and professional! Dr. Chris Moritz is outstanding!

Both of our boys go here. They're kind and quick. Our babies don't have about stress going in our coming out. The pricing can get high, but I like having a vet that can address almost any medical issue we might have with all the records they need right there. They're always quick to get us in and quick with results as well.

Everyone, across-the-board, at this veterinary hospital is amazing. I’ve had so many issues with my dog and they take care of my dog. I think they love him as much as I love him. Excellent care!

I feel the staff making the appointments and recognizing us when we arrive is outstanding. It makes it so easy to pick up refills and additional dry foods for my pet. I just started using the Pet Site they have set up for my animals and it's wonderful. I love Dr Sanburg even if my cats don't really. Her assistant is always so bubbly too, so I know my animals are in good hands if I have to hand them off and they are behind a closed door without me. It's tricky to get into the parking lot, and it's a tight squeeze, but the care IMO is worth it. Also, read into this as you wish, they have tvs in the exam room so before the vet comes in you can watch TV. That's a nice plus.
