We’ve been going here for at least 6 years with our cat and dog. We’ve probably seen every doctor and every one has been attentive, patient, and kind. They always take the time to explain what is going on and what options you have and seem to go above and beyond for your pet. It’s always easy to get an appt for our pets. Very happy we have such a great vet!

I have been taking my cat to this clinic for 7 years. Admittedly, she has anxiety around strangers and from the short car ride to the vet. This clinic has suddenly refused to see my pet for routine vaccinations without me paying for “surgery” - sedation. No one in this office has ever explained to us that she would not be seen going forward, so we were very surprised to learn that they would not see our DECLAWED cat without sedation. I’m truly appalled by the unprofessionalism, lack of communication and the complete lack of advocacy for a pet that you would expect from an alleged animal-loving vet office. Extremely disappointing.

VCA is the place to take your pet! They are incredible and Moose and I leave there satisfied every single time. They really do care about you and your pet! Fantastic customer service!! If you are like me and your pet is your LIFE I would recommend these heros❤

I've been a customer since I was a child with my family pets. As an adult it's the only place I go for more than 20 years. Some staff and doctors have changed over the years....but that is a lot of years. Still provide quality and caring for my family and furry family.

worst service. very unprofessional. everyone at this office is fake. don’t believe any of these positive reviews. i visited this page a month ago and their reviews were in the 3’s and now it’s a 4.6. sort by lowest ratings first if you really want accurate reviews of this dump

The Bal-Coeur staff was friendly and helpful. Met every expectation from me and my dog recovered within a couple of days. I should mention that this place is very expensive. Edit: I gave this place initially a four-star review before I learned that they take advantage of desperation. When my dog was hurt, I had to take her in 4 times over the course of three weeks. These visits costed me over $1000 and the problem was not resolved. I no longer recommend this place.

This is by far the best animal hospital in the area. They're customer service is top-notch, and they show an extra level of care for my animals that I have not experienced elsewhere.

****ADDED COMMENT**** I didn’t know they do grooming and wish I could have known earlier, THEIR GROOMING IS THE BEST compared to where I am going. I am switching to VCA grooming. My big puppy smelled so good and his hair got fluffly, I am very satisfied, I forgot the name of the woman who did it but something like Jill. ——————— Staffs are friendly, Dr. Davis is my favorite Vet and Jen is always knowledgeable for tips and stuff. Great team!!!

My dog came here for a haircut. He has seizures and has been on medication for years. Despite this, it still happens sometimes. They were told this upon dropping him off and they were given his shot records. His records say he has them and is on medicine for it. Dropping him off they were told if it happens to put him in his crate until it stops. Instead, they decided to give him medicine, that wasn’t his prescribed medicine, to make him go to sleep AFTER the seizure stopped. They did not call to tell anyone they were giving him medicine. They did not say that he was given medicine once he was picked up. However, they did add the charge to the bill. Luckily, we noticed that the price was higher than what was originally stated. They added a charge for the medicine that they did NOT have permission to give my dog. This is when they finally told us about the seizure and the medication they gave him to make him sleep. They said the person who had been told about the seizures went home without telling anyone. After we told them we were not paying the additional charge they said he could not come back for a haircut. We would never take him back here anyway. He’s getting older (a 10 year old yorkie) and could probably get really hurt or suck in their care.

I brought my new puppy here to get all her shots & the whole staff was amazing! They were so friendly & my girl loved them

I have moved three times and I have kept driving way out of my way to get my babies treated by Dr. Thompson at Bal Coeur VCA (the staff is great too!) My dog has a lot of skin issues and my cats have chronic illnesses and they all are treated with great care and affection. My cat actually loves coming here! I am very happy with all the services we have received here. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic service. Very friendly and informative. Honestly I didn't know what to expect but they took great care of my cat and always seemed they were very attentive to not only physical needs but worried about the stress on the animal. Highly recommend.

They're caring and friendly and skilful and really expensive. So good, but you definitely pay for it.

Best vet ever. No other place I rather go. My dog always gets infections and everytime they take care of her. They're friendly and truly care. They always address our concerns. It's a little pricy but 100% worth it.

I took my cat here because she was having trouble breathing and had what I assumed was a bad sprain (I watch WAY too many vet shows, lol) and was pleasantly surprised with their staff. I also have a dog with diabetes & have very little funds leftover for other vet bills in my budget. So, I came here because they had advertised a free first office visit/exam on their website. My cat had been acting extremely standoffish that day due to her pain, and the techs & doc both handled her so gingerly that she was like putty in their hands. She doesn't even do that for me! My kitty's heart was beating so fast, dangerously fast, that it was difficult for the vet to count the pulse but i think was around 250 bpm! She definitely sprained her shoulder thanks to this new Maine coon my family inherited from a death in the family, and i didn't get an x-ray due to lack of funds but surely has asthma. Doc also found a heart murmur that no other vet had found, and my kitty will be eight yrs old this month. That's a lot of other vets who didn't catch this murmur. My cat's brother died last year for no apparent reason, and we're now thinking we finally know why. Whatever my sweet girl has is hereditary and probably passed to all or most of the litter mates. I've been referred to a vet cardiologist, but i don't yet have that kind of money. It was recommended that we wait for the asthma treatment until after we know exactly what's wrong with her heart because albuterol can raise the pulse, which could be catastrophic since hers is already elevated. I'm just so glad i went to VCA. They obviously know what they're doing and know the importance of treating the patient as well as indulge the owner with perfect balance. This is a great place to take your pets, at least your cat! I HIGHLY recommend VCA Bal-Coeur!

They took amazing care of my boy Hudson back in 2014. The entire staff was so accommodating. Hudson had cancer and we hand to put him down, but they made it they best possible experience, giving me so much peace in knowing Hudson absolutely adored his vet and trusted him right till the end. Thank you all so much. Forever grateful for this place in our time of need.
