Rachael was very kind and welcoming to both us and our baby. She played hard all day and came home exhausted and happy. I will be boarding her soon and will edit my post accordingly.

I give BauserHaus a 4 star rating ONLY because of the exceptional service and care to the dogs and the facility that David an employee that has been there for two years, has shown himself to be both kind and highly professional.

Our puppy and our full grown lady love Bauserhaus and always come home tired from a long day of play and smelling of coconut hand lotion from all the pets they get! 10/10

I love BauserHaus. Rachael is a warm, friendly greeter with wonderful communication skills. Our little dog is extremely active, and at BauserHaus, he always finds a kindred canine soul to help tire him out. The rates are very reasonable. The staff works hard to group dogs according to size and energy level. We also love that we can drop him off without having to book an appointment.

I have been going to Bauserhaus almost since the beginning. I took my Boston terrier there, and she loved it. I even took her when she had had surgery and asked them to segregate her, which they seemed quite willing to do. (This was for doggy day care, not boarding while I went off on a trip.) She still had some human company, which she would not get at home alone all day, and which she seemed to prefer to dog company anyway, and if something did go wrong, I was nearby and could deal with it. She continued to go every day, even when she got Cushing's disease, right up to the last. I eventually got a beagle mix rescue and have started taking him there. He is having a ball. He is quite a bit different. He loves the company of other dogs and plays hard and comes home exhausted. I have never had anything bad happen to either dog at Bauserhaus. Other's have noted that the owner, Natalie, seems unfriendly. I have never found that to be the case, but she is not gregarious and she takes the responsibility of caring for other people's fur kids very seriously. She has developed her own policies and procedures for her business and she doesn't compromise those just to get or keep business. Where Natalie seems reserved, Rachel, who usually greets and receives customers in the mornings, is very outgoing and clearly loves the pups. It always brightens my day to see her smiling face in the morning. I think some of these negative reviews were unfair. The lady who left her dog who had just had surgery while she went off on a trip is an example. I would never plan a trip right after my dog had surgery. Seems to me that if the surgery could have been put off until after the trip, that would have been the thing to do. Or if the surgery was emergency, put off the trip. Or, if neither was possible, board the dog with the vet, not doggy daycare. Take some responsibility, people! Don't put a business in a difficult situation and then blame them when something goes wrong. I can think of instances where Natalie even went out of her way for a customer. Several years ago, there was a fire down the street from Bauserhaus. The police blocked off an entire section of Manchester from Hanley to Brentwood. I had to get to work, but I couldn't get to Bauserhaus, on Breckenridge Industrial Ct, even though it was just a block from Hanley, I wasn't going anywhere near the fire and just needed to drop off my dog and come back out. I explained all that to the officer, but he refused to let me by. Very frustrating! I called Natalie and she offered to start walking to Manchester if I could find a nearby parking lot and start walking toward her. Just about that time, the firetrucks left and the officer opened up Manchester again, so I was able to get in, but I consider that going above and beyond. Anyway, if you are a responsible pet owner, Bauserhaus is great place to bring your dog!

Nothing fancy. But good professional boarding and day care in a convenient location. Moderately priced.

They have been great with our hyper and socially awkward friend. Seem to actually form relationships with all of their furry clients rather than pen 100 of them up and collect money for it.

WOW... where do I start? I took my dog there for years and while the owner was never really that friendly I always felt my dog was being taken care of there so I kept going back. The last time I went there my dog had to have surgery on her …

We have been taking Butters to Bauserhaus regularly for the past ~5 years. Butters is always super excited to meet Natalie and his other friends, and comes home tired and happy. We've never had any issues with him getting injured or sick from playing there, and every employee we've interacted with has had a genuine interest and love for dogs. I really can't rate Bauserhaus high enough, we love it here.

We have been actively taking our dog here almost every week for the last 3.5 years. The staff and owner are great and the facility is extremely clean. Our dog absolutely loves running wild and playing with the other dogs. This is the best dog daycare/boarding service in the STL area!

After boarding our family member for 10 days and paying $350 for "her care" We picked her up and noticed that her front and rear paws were inflamed and bleeding. No one bothered to pay attention to the fact that she had been chewing and …

I'm hooked and so is Camden. I brought him in this morning and came back a little after 6pm. It was my first time leaving him with someone else and I couldn't be happier. It's important for him to be around other pups during the day and when I picked him up his tail was wagging, he gave me kisses, and best of all .... was exhausted! Will be back, and back, and back again!

I've been bringing my dog, Rudy, to Bauserhaus doggie daycare for several years - beginning shortly after they opened. It's the ONE place in St. Louis that he loves and he cries the whole way because he's so excited to get inside. I've …

My 2 year old Pekingnese, Maximus, loves to go to BauserHaus. Every time he's dropped off, he runs to Natalie and her staff like they're his second family! As a busy physician, Bauserhaus has always been very flexible with scheduling. …
